My only suggestion would be to have a power bar in the room for charging electronics. My wife and I each have an iPhone, ipad and Apple Watch so charging can be an issue, but we made out okay as we just unplugged the hair dryer and used that outlet. they are right on the harbour and we had an excellent view of the harbour. When we come back to Digby we will definitely stay here again."

Holdsworth House History
The Holdsworth House was built in 1783, by Loyalist James Holdsworth. He came here with his family after the American Revolution. The family continued to live here until 1976. After that time, the house remained in the family(it was a rental property). We purchased the home in 1998, and started to restore the neglected house. This home is for people who enjoy historic homes and appreciate the quirkiness that comes with a house that is over 230 years old. The Holdsworth House allows guests to experience what it would have been like to live in a Loyalist home, but, with all the comforts of the modern era.
You can access the beach from the path leading from the backyard. Kayak rentals available in town, just 5 minutes from the house. Whale watching can be arranged with a discount for our guests(advance booking required). The historic sites of Annapolis Royal are 20 minutes by car. Kedjimkujik national park is a 40 minute drive. Plenty of hiking trails and canoe rentals available.
The Holdsworth House is SELF CATERING . No daily maid service. Linens are provided for your stay. You are responsible to supply yourself with paper towel and bathroom rolls. We supply the initial startup of paper products.

Well maintained home with incredible views overlooking the Bay of Fundy. The house is a five minute walk to Digby Harbour, shops, bars and restaurants; and a ten minute walk to the Digby Pines Golf Course. Its a great location in all respects! The rooms are expansive and comfortably furnished. A large veranda surrounds the house with a brand new large decked area to the rear, a real sun trap, and a large back yard, the perfect place for barbeques or cocktails. The immediate neighbourhood is quiet and friendly.

The small fishing community of Digby, Nova Scotia is located at the western end of the Annapolis Valley and is blessed with the most temperate climate in the province. It is the ideal place for a family holiday, a romantic vacation or for those interested in motorcycles, it is the home of the Wharf Rat Rally in September. Supposed to sleep 12 , however the double bed and 2 twin beds were air mattresses and were very cold and uncomfortable. Should not assume beds will be doubly occupied. 4 of the 6 bedrooms have wonderful views of the water. The TV also needs to be updated, the one presently in the home is small and about 25 years old. Would have been nice to have another TV on the second floor in the yoga room and maybe one in a bedroom as not everyone wants to watch the same thing. Friendly neighbourhood, talked to lots of great people. The property mgr. Sandra is a wonderful person, very accommodating and friendly, we even bumped into her at a take out restaurant. Two people in our group had never been to N.S. before and totally loved being there. Great vacation. great place, overall, everyone in our group would certainly recommend it to anyone who might be interested."
