As noted in previous reviews, the toilet does gurgle a bit and my wife heard the critters, but not a big issue. Thought that not having park passes would be an issue, but it wasn’t. The natural light that floods in is wonderful, so that even on the rainy days it felt bright and airy. The beds were very comfortable, the sheets were soft and the towels were fluffy. The check in process was smooth and Johanna responded quickly to any questions we had, which were very few because she has binder of recommendations on hand which provided us with so much amazing information. We really didn't need to plan a single thing in advance; we used her suggestions and planned on the go. The assortment of beach gear (chairs, mats, sand toys, boogie board ...etc.) and the required Park Pass) were huge assets! We loved the proximity to Charlottetown as we saw three shows that were playing and enjoyed many of the restaurants on Main Street (Piatto's Pizza, Merchant Man) and we enjoyed hanging out at both Stanhope & Brackley beaches. The highly popular Richard's Seafood restau is just two minutes by car. Another highlight is an afternoon spent having lunch and strolling through the galleries and gorgeous gardens at the Dunes Cafe, which is also just a ten minute drive. Dalvay By the Sea is also less than 10 minutes by car. There are also fabulous, flat bike paths within a couple of kilometres from the home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and if/when we return to P.E.I we would love to rent this home again!"

Although we didn't cook a ton because we enjoyed so many of the island's restaurants, a group could easily prepare all of their meals in Piper's Place kitchen. Five minute walk to the famous Covehead lighthouse along with my favorite beach “Stanhope Cape”, with rich red sand. PLEASE NOTE Your living space is IN MY HOME on the second level. Your space has two large rooms bedroom and sitting room along with a new powder room (toilet and sink) in the unit. Shower is shared with one other person(myself) in the main bath. well appointed and colourful.

Newly renovated summer property in the heart of Stanhope, PEI. This cottage is only a short walk to sandy National Park beaches, has a stunning water view, and is just steps away from paved trails along the coast for biking and walks.

The main area is a bright and spacious open concept room. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to be used for home cooked meals. Off of the main area is the large deck with a seating area that looks upon the beautiful water view.

Off of the kitchen area is the first bathroom that has a tub/shower combo and washer and dryer. Down the hallway are the 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and single bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the master bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a standup shower.

Enjoy the large yard and fire pit area that overlooks the water.

Heat pumps with A/C are found in the main area and the master bedroom.

Getting Around:
Only a 15 minute drive from Charlottetown airport, you can easily get all of your supplies at a nearby grocery store

Walking:
We're located only a 3-minute walk from Stanhope's well-known walking/running path along Covehead Bay. A perfect place to start the day with a walk/jog or push a stroller where you'll receive smiles and waves from all the locals.

Beaches:
We're a 5 minute walk from Stanhope Cape Beach, which is much quieter, but just as nice as it's well-known sister, Brackley Beach (also only a 6 minute drive away).

Covehead Wharf:
Covehead Wharf is a 3 minute drive away where you can enjoy the Island's favorite lobster roll at Richard's Seafood, get a coffee or fresh seafood to cook at the market, or book an afternoon of deep sea fishing.

Family Entertainment:
25 minutes away is Cavendish - full of family restaurants, shopping, amusement parks for all ages, and many more attractions.

The large yards and trees keep our neighbourhood quiet and private - yet the national park beaches and walking/biking trails are a walk away. Traffic is slow moving on our road. One favourite summer activity of ours is to bike to Covehead harbour. Once there, PEI-famous fish and chips at Richard's seafood restaurant, a drink from the Shore Market and Ice-cream at Campbell's make for a delightful evening!

Damage deposit: 400$.
The damage deposit will be charged in the event of damage to the property. No smoking allowed in the house or $400 damage deposit will be charged to the guest(s). No parties or events. If you plan on bringing your pet, please inform us beforehand. There will be an additional $50 cleaning fee. Pets must remain reasonably quiet during your stay as to not disturb the neighbours.

Our 2 bedroom executive cottages are very spacious, comfortable complete with modern amenities.From the fully stocked kitchen to the large living room to the comfortable covered porch, these units are an ideal home away from home.
