Welcome to Knotty Pines Lodge, home away from home. We've got you covered for all your comfort and relaxation needs. Open concept design, that leads onto the screened-in patio overlooking the southeastern Miramichi River. Enjoy this property from sunup to sundown.
Upstairs on the second level, you will find 4 large and comfortable bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms are equipped with queen-size beds and one with two twins.
Hang out outside near the firepit while you take on the breathtaking river. Many outdoor games are provided, and some indoor games for those rainy days.
Plenty of Parking on the property but please note it is a VERY STEEP driveway. Wintertime you must have a vehicle suitable for winter conditions. AWD/ 4x4 or great tires.
Stuck or unable to drive up/down the driveway will be at the guests responsibility.

It is on the major route, within walking distance to most amenities and centrally located in Douglastown, between Newcastle and Chatham, less than 1 km to the Centennial Bridge.
The structure is one level, open concept (meaning there is no separate bedroom). Water is city provided and the heat/AC is a mini-split wall unit. Laundry is in the bathroom. There is a ROKU TV for you to use with your own accounts.

Centrally located with private entrance two bedroom self contained unit with king and queen beds in a bright and spacious lower level of a family home . It has all the comforts of home. Very close to the river for fishing, restaurants, cafes, and shopping. A short drive to the hospital, the historic Chatham downtown area and downtown Newcastle.

This large and private walkout basement apartment unit is at the back lower level of a two storey family home. A concrete walkway, some wood decking, and steps lead you to a private entrance . There is ample free parking for up to two vehicles or a vehicle with a trailer at the front of the home. The unit has a large cosy living room, fully equipped apartment kitchen with table and chairs , apartment size fridge and stove, microwave, coffee and tea bar. There is one large full bathroom, very comfortable king and queen beds. A fifth (child or adult) can be accommodated with a folding twin floor mattress or bedding to sleep on the sofa.

Guest have the entire two bedroom apartment unit to enjoy during their stay along with a cozy porch area. The neighbourhood is very friendly and safe, walkable with a playground. Please note that the fenced in backyard area is intended for home owners and their dogs only.
Other things to note
We the hosts do have two labradoodles (dogs), who are very friendly and love to greet our guests with their noses through the fence . They are dogs who are actually pretty quiet most of the time . However, they do like to alert us from time to time about the wildlife in our backyard . We make every effort to keep them as quiet as possible and especially between the hours of 10:00 pm -7:30 am.

Miramichi transit is also available within the city limits
