We had the pleasure of spending a weekend at the Rosebank Cottage this fall. The cottage was very nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, and all of the necessary amenities were on hand. Having a half bath/powder room downstairs and a separate den with TV were very convenient. The quiet setting and view of the Miramichi River added to the charm. We would definitely visit again and recommend it to others!

- "I came with my siblings for a reunion. We spent half the time away from the cabin traveling and half at the cabin. I loved the traveling as this was prime location to travel our other destination points. When we were relaxing at the cabin theit was just blissful. The quietness of the area, the beautiful water views and sunrises/sunsets were just amazing. The ile of beaubears is just feet from the cabin and offers boat ride to anisland and 6km of trails. Just amazing. Wish i had the time to do a month!"

I didn’t realize when I booked that it was 2 cabins close together sharing the same backyard but it was fine the neighbours who were renting too were nice. " - "The stay was great. If you are older or have mobility issues the loft is not easy to use. We were just two so we slept one in the bedroom and me on the sofa. If you have young kids or young adults the loft would be awesome. It was bright and clean. Reclining lawn chairs also would have been nice. One or two loungers the weather was perfect it would have been nice to lay out in the sun."

The space
One and a half storey house built at the turn of the 20th century, the home was renovated to provide you a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The upper loft/storey provides two sleeping areas with a double bed on one side and single and double beds on the other side. A daybed, downstairs, provides extra sleeping space.
The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen.
Books, boardgames and children's toys provide additional entertainment.

A bit of its history..
According to Jean-Guy Savoie ... now deceased ... he said this: The fourth house on Rue Savoie is that of Valère Robichaud and Elisabeth (Betty) Arseneau, the daughter of Calixte and Élisabeth Goulet. This house was bought from my aunt Evelyn after her first husband, Mathurin Patrice, died. It was built by François (Frank) Patrice and halted by Odilon in Germain Savoie in 1960. Even further afield was my grandmother's home, Mrs. Calixte Arseneau née Elisabeth Goulet, the daughter of Jean and Venerable Landry. The house was halted, in pieces, from where they lived at Ross Road. It was rebuilt by Jim Goulet. Today this house is located on the way to John McCloud and serves as a chalet of are

This Unique Riverfront Cedar Wood Cottage is positioned perfectly for the most spectacular sunsets. Enjoy them from the comfort of the expansive covered veranda or in other picturesque parts of our developing Nature Resort property. If this upper suite is available, no-one will be booked in the lower suite and vice versa.

The space
This 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Cottage is warm, inviting and cozy. You will find it easy to relax and soak in the natural beauty around you. The large covered veranda has a patio seating along with a BBQ. This cottage is divided into two suites, upper level and lower level. This is the upper level suite. They can be booked separately or together.

This Cottage is part of the developing FOUR Nature Resort. You will have access to the entire 150 acre property which includes trails, boat launch, ravine with wooden walking bridge, large pond and fire pits.

Other things to note
Please let us know if pets or children are part of your guest list so we can make appropriate arrangements. There is a 1 small dog limit in this cottage.

There are small flat screen TV’s in each cottage, but no programming service. They have a USB connection on back to connect a smart stick/laptop or gaming device through the internet.

Cell phone service can be limited. Rogers Customers seems to have the least amount of dropped calls here.

Literally a 30 second walk to an all sand beach. Very quiet, relaxing area. Our little piece of paradise. Also great for bass fishing !! Lots of room for parking if you have a boat for fishing. Located just a couple mins from the loggieville wharf.
