Choice of 3 local golf courses. Cross-fit gym available in New Glasgow as well as a yoga studio and the Pictou County Wellness Center. Great local roads for cycling, and trails for hiking/biking. Attractions include the Museum of Industry in New Glasgow, and the deCoste Performing Arts Center in Pictou. Day trips include the town of Antigonish - you can could also continue east to access Cape Breton, the Cabot Trail, and Fortress Louisburg, or you could instead drive north around beautiful Cape George (the "little Cabot Trail") parts of which can actually be seen toward the east from the front deck of the Cottage itself!

A good location for a stress-free stay in Bayfield, Sea'scape Cottages is a chalet surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a private beach area, barbecue facilities, and parking on-site among other facilities. There's a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet provides river views, a sun terrace, and free Wifi is available throughout the property. There is a bakery in Brookfield that has the most amazing treats which is just a few minutes away!

The lake has a public boat launch so bringing your boat is very convenient. After a day of tubing, relax in the hot tub or enjoy a fire, lakeside!

The cottage will have everything you need! It is truly your home away from home!

The two story house offers a spacious design with three bedrooms and just about every amenity you may need. We are within a five minute drive to the most beautiful light sandy beaches of Nova Scotia. You may walk to the waters edge of the inside bays which surround the area. The property is available for rent on a weekly basis with a discount or as a five day min stay in July and August. Discount of 8% for one week rental. The house comes equipped with high speed Wi-Fi, work desk with keyboard (USB), bedding, barbeque, patio furniture, dishwasher, toaster, wood fireplace, screened in porch, outside fire pit, and TV. We are 15 minutes from the town of Antigonish, where you will find St. Francis Xavier University, well-stocked stores, and an assortment of restaurants..

For those seeking more beach time, you will find several beaches close by: rugged Dunn's Beach (30 min walk), 2 miles of sandy beach at Pomquet Provincial Park (10 minute drive), Mahoney's Beach (30 min).

Keppoch Mountain, a recreational site for biking, hiking, disc golf, and winter sports is 25 minutes away.

Lobster season here is May and June. The wharf is just down the road.

A newly renovated cottage nestled between two beaches on the Northumberland strait. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens (1 full and 1 that is not fully stocked). The main kitchen is on the bottom floor and fully equipped for all your cooking needs, there is a fridge and a stove upstairs that is usable. The upstairs is not accessible from the bottom level. It is designed like two separate places. There is a wraparound deck to walk up the stairs to get into the top floor. There will NOT be other people staying at the same time, we rent it as a whole unit. It is the perfect accommodation for two families or two couples, who want to vacation together and be in close proximity, yet not share the same personal spaces. One side of the cottage is on a beautiful, sandy beach, the other side of the cottage is nestled in a cove, with a view of the Prince Edward Island fairy crossing.
Dig clams on one side and beach and swim on the other! 360° Waterview with balconies to admire the view!

Relax and enjoy your stay in this cottage which has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen and a single bed. The other bedroom has a double bed that sleeps two people. There is a queen pull out sofa bed in the living room that sleeps 2 more people.

The cottage is winterized and available year round. It is located 15 minutes from the town of Antigonish. It is close to several beaches and is situated along a scenic coastal drive on the Sunrise Trail. Fresh lobster can be bought at the local lobster pound in Arisaig in the spring and summer a short drive down the road. The cottage sits in a small field surrounded by a forest where you can sit and enjoy the propane bbq and the bonfire pit. It has a large wooden deck with seating and solar lighting. A beautiful ocean beach is 3km away. There is a small 12 foot above ground pool.

It has a dishwasher and air conditioning. A clothes washer and dryer, television and wifi. Everything that you need to enjoy your stay is supplied.

No parties please. Please do not throw cigarettes on the lawn and no burning of garbage.

I was there for a work trip and the house had everything we needed. It was cosy and very reminicient of homes I grew up in the 1970s. This cottage has one full bathroom but also features a second outdoor shower which is an excellent way to rinse off after a refreshing ocean swim. Guests will have access to our high-speed Fiber Optic internet and are welcome to use our private dock as well as having two kayaks and a canoe at your disposal. Several other amenities are available on this property including a large game room.

The game room is in the 2nd story of our barn. This game room features a surround sound system, large TV for movies, a pool table, ping pong, foosball, a bar, and an indoor mini ramp for skilled skateboarders. This is a great spot for kids of all ages! The game room is also used by us, so it does qualify as a communal area but if you'd like to use the game room without interruption just let us know and we're happy to accommodate.

On our property, we have a very long and large driveway. The cottage also has its own parking area. There is plenty of parking space for everyone. Our property is rural, surrounded by the ocean, woods, hiking trails, and nature. Antigonish is only a 10-minute drive away and features many excellent restaurants, local shopping, a golf course, StFX University, and more.

Our residence is on the same property further down the long driveway. However, it is more than 400ft away through the woods and not visible from the cottage. Spaces shared with us: The driveway, dock, and barn/game room.

Covid 19: The barn/game room is NOT available to those using this property to quarantine. We also use the game room, therefore, it can not be shared with those in quarantine. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Welcome to Riverstone Cottage, which is nestled alongside Balmoral Brook and offers breathtaking views from every window of the cottage. The cottage is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the heart of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. This hidden gem is perfect for those who love enjoying the outdoors and still enjoy the luxury of having a comfortable spot to sleep at night. Come spend the night at Riverstone Cottage and let the sound of the babbling brook wash away your worries.

The Cottage is open concept with a loft bedroom accessible by ladder. It’s designed to sleep four people comfortably. It’s most suitable for couples or small families.

Bed 1 – This bed is located on the main floor of the cottage. After a long day of exploring the outdoors, come sink into your cozy and comfortable queen-sized ENDY mattress and relax. The cottage is open concept, so there is no separation from the bedroom, living room or kitchen. There are curtains for every window if you do not prefer to wake up when the world does.

Bed 2 – This bed is in our loft area. The loft is only accessible by ladder and should be considered when travelling with young children. The second bed is also a super comfortable queen-sized ENDY mattress, which will provide you a comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring.

Kitchen/BBQ – The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, Keurig coffee machine and toaster. We provide pots, pans and the basic kitchen essentials needed for everyday use. We also provide a BBQ for guests to use, which is located on the side of the cottage.

Bathroom – We have a fully equipped bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. We provide towels for our guests during their stay.

Temperature Control – The cottage is equipped with a heat pump which is ideal for any weather. If you like it freezing cold or extra warm, choose which temperature is good for you. There is also additional baseboard heating to help make the cottage toasty warm in the winter months if you so choose.

Dog Policy – We are pet friendly! Please contact us and tell us a little about your furry friend before booking. Please ensure to add your furry friend to the reservation when booking, as a $50 additional cleaning fee will be applied.

Outdoor Area – We are nestled right next to the Balmoral Brook, which offers a private swimming spot in the warmer months. We have a large wrap around deck with glass panels, which allows you to enjoy the beautiful view of the brook and surrounding area. There is also a lower platform right next to the water for those who love the sound of the babbling brook. This is an ideal location for those wanting to relax and become one with nature again. We promise you will not be bored during your stay here

- "The cabins are so beautiful and clean, that was my initial reaction when we walked into the cabin for our 3 day stay! The view of the water was so pretty and we saw lots of wildlife as well. The owner was so nice and friendly and we are already planning our next trip!" - "What a cute spot. The cabins were very nice, the view was nice too bad there was some trees blocking it. - "2nd time here, great location, beautiful view. Great host, Highly recommend it as a stay " - "The setting is lovely, and the distillery next door is a highlight — great drinks and welcoming staff. The cabin shows signs of some recent updates, but overall it feels a bit tired and neglected. While the layout is fine, the beds were too soft for our liking, and the towels were thin and well past their prime. There’s a strong floral scent in the bedrooms that felt more like covering something up than creating a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was missing a few essentials, and though it had the basics, it didn’t feel thoughtfully stocked. The bathroom has no fan, which made it feel damp and stuffy. A couple of unwelcome cockroaches showed up in the kitchen on our last day. The hot tub cover has seen better days, and the general impression was that the place could use a deeper level of attention and upkeep. Also worth noting: the owner doesn’t provide keys, as nothing is locked — fine for us since we stayed put, but something to consider if you plan to leave during your stay."

- "We used the house as our home base as we travelled all over Nova Scotia - spending WAY too many hours in the car. Finally decided to take advantage of the view and the beach on our last full day. We were alone on the beach for most of the day - except for seabirds and the bald eagle who visited every day. Oh - and the neighbor and her dogs, Shultz and Fritz. The stars were spectacular at night. Home is well-outfitted for cooking with everything we needed. The fire pit was a fun place to gather at the end of the day. Highly recommend if you are staying near the north shore - a bit out of the way for other travels, such as Cape Breton and Bay of Fundy."

- "The cottage generally met our needs. We prefer having the bathroom on same floor as the bedrooms. The kitchen is a little disorganized and we were surprised by the various foods in the cupboards and fridge. The place looked very lived in." - "This property is definitely not senior or kid friendly with that steep staircase. We had my 90 year old mother with us and I was terrified when she got up to use the bathroom that she would fall down the stairs. Very annoying that the bedrooms were upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. Should have a more in-depth description of the layout. Also, we were very uncomfortable with the amount of food someone left in the fridge, not to mention personal toiletries left around. We were not aware until we got there that the water was not drinkable, therefore quite surprised when there was less than a quarter amount in the water cooler. What was out of anyone’s control was the fact that we had no power when we returned from the wedding and was still out when we got up. Therefore we did not get any use from the cottage on Sunday and were gone by 8 am. So we tried to clean up as much as possible, not easy without power."

The space
With flowers round the deck and fireflies just outside the back door, a peaceful village retreat. The original 2 room house has been extended over the years to provide a kitchen diner, bathroom and downstairs bedroom in addition to the living room and upstairs bedroom. It is now a cute country home with a sunny deck and views to surrounding countryside. Eating at the kitchen table, you have southerly view to watch the sky, sun and clouds pass behind the trees and a church spire. Being close to the sea, there is often a breeze blowing through and laundry dries quickly, flapping on the line. Recently insulated throughout and with baseboard heating, it is a comfortable 3 season house.

Guest access
The whole house and yard is yours to use during your stay. Our plot is limited by the rows of trees on either side. Please do not use the large grass area to the right of the house - this belongs to the neighbour. Otherwise, plenty of space to find sun or shade, indoors or out. Help yourself to any herbs in the garden (Mint, thyme, oregano and chives can be found). Parking is available on the driveways either side of the house.

Other things to note
With no TV and no Wi-Fi, time to enjoy each other’s company or a good book. The kitchen is fully equipped (but no dishwasher), so you can even bake cakes and cookies on rainy days if you want to! There is a folder with local visitor information and details on the house facilities. Laundry and washing-up liquids are supplied, as are bags for garbage and recycling (check the folder for details). Extra bedding is available if the weather turns cooler. We do not provide Internet, TV or other entertainment devices as we hope you will be enjoying the great outdoors. Issues with sulphur smells in the water have been fixed.

Cozy harbour-front cottage on a secluded acreage with dock access, 8 minutes from downtown Antigonish.

The space
Welcome to your own private cottage on Antigonish harbour! Enjoy the the rustic charm and stunning views from your own quiet spot, surrounded by large flower gardens, a vegetable patch, and a small vineyard. There is a deck with an outdoor table and chairs to take in the sunrise or sunset. There is also a BBQ for you to grill up fresh local food.

Inside you will find a large open concept kitchen and living room with large picture windows overlooking the harbour. The living room has a wood fireplace for chilly nights (there are also base board heaters throughout). There is a small pull-out couch in the living room, that comfortably sleeps 1 adult or 2 small people. We have a record player and some records for you to explore as well as a sound system you can connect to with your phone.

In the kitchen, you can prepare simple meals in the toaster oven and hot plate. There is a mini-fridge for your essentials and a pink table to eat at. You can also make use of the BBQ outside.

The queen size bed in the bedroom is super comfortable, and there is a full dresser and hanging closet for your things.

The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. We provide shampoo and conditioner and a hairdryer for your convenience.

You have dock and water access, which you are welcome to use at your own risk.

We have good internet access for a rural location.

You will have access to your own private deck and feel free to walk through the gardens, use the swing set or walk through the yard. You can also access the dock and water front, at your own risk. We use the yard as well, so you may see us about.

The space
Welcome to 109 Driftwood Lane! This is an older cottage. It is certainly not perfect but has a very warming feel and really gives you a great cottage vibe!

It has 2 decent size bedrooms with queen beds. The master has a nice desk if you were looking to setup to do some work! There is a tub in the cottage if you have kids!

The kitchen has everything you need with an air fryer and coffee maker!

Large deck with an outdoor table set as well as a barbecue!

Decent size front yard with some games in the shed! Just past the yard is a beautiful rock wall down to what really sells this cottage!! The beach! It’s a breath taking view on the Northumberland straight! The waters are warm and is great swimming location with sand bars and wildlife!

The cottage is winterized and electrically heated, has AC and a ceiling fan in each room. The cottage has a covered sunroom with BBQ where you can enjoy spectacular views of scenic Northumberland Strait, which boasts the warmest waters in Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

The space
A short walk to the beach and at low tide you can walk for miles and explore the shore line for interesting shells and rocks or just enjoy the break of the waves. The kids can explore the tide pools for crabs and starfish or just build sand castles. Don't forget your flashlight because when night falls in the country, it's really dark, which will bring you to stargazing. There is nothing like looking up at the sky when you get away from the city lights and see that there really is a Milky Way. There's lots of room for you and your kids to ride their bikes on the Shore Road and off-roads are quiet country roads with very little traffic.

A Sobeys, drug store and liquor store at the Pictou Rotary (10 km from the cottage) will provide you with any items you may need.

The space
Bedroom 1 - queen bed. Bedroom 2 - bunk beds and a single bed with new, comfy mattress. The +1 bedroom is an open area with a double futon bed. 3 pc bath is shower stall, toilet and pedestal sink. Our cottage is recently renovated to be clean, bright and inviting with a relaxing coastal vibe. While small, it includes everything needed for a comfortable stay! Bring yourself and your groceries only! Our kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for cooking during your stay, as well as a full complement of small appliances. Other things to note
As the cottage is located in a rural area, we have been unable to find a regular cleaner. Therefore, we ask guests to ensure the cottage is clean and ready for the next guests. To help make this possible, we have a later checkout than most properties and of course, no cleaning fee. The coin laundry on site will do towels and sheets, and all cleaning supplies are provided. If you require an exemption due to an early flight or departure, please let us know well in advance so we can make one-time arrangements. If bed linens on a particular bed have been unused you can leave them as is. See notes at the property regarding garbage, recycling and compost. The house was built in 1967 and has kept its vintage and rustic charm, like in the old-fashioned wood stove and exposed beams. General Area - The house is situated at the end of a scenic road, Williams Point road, overlooking the Antigonish harbour. It's common for locals and visitors to drive along the point road and turn around at the roundabout which is located beside the house. There is also an active train track along Williams Point. A short train runs twice a day and more often than not, we do not even notice the sound.

Harbour Access - The house has a beautiful view of the harbour, but at this point in time, there is no walking access to the harbour.

Parking - the parking pad can accommodate two small cars. If needed, you can park alongside the house as well.

Pets - While we welcome pets, please note that we do not have a fenced yard. We ask that you be mindful as there are other dogs along Williams Point Road.

The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. The “Kenzie B” cottage has a newly finished modern/rustic vibe. Freshly built this cottage looks and feels (well it is) brand new while accents like the old barn beams on the ceiling, pine interior walls, red sliding barn door, and the steel shower give it unique character and ambiance. This cottage is perfectly set up for one or two guests to enjoy. While there is plenty of space to set up a play pen or crib if you did have a little one. Off the front of the cottage is a covered veranda where you can take in the views of the river whatever the weather. Along the side of the cottage is a private hot tub to soak in. A private out door fire pit and firewood is included with this cottage, and a short walk to the end of the property is a shared dock and sauna.

Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens (1 full and 1 that is not fully stocked). The main kitchen is on the bottom floor and fully equipped for all your cooking needs, there is a fridge and a stove upstairs that is usable. The upstairs is not accessible from the bottom level. There is a wraparound deck to walk up the stairs to get into the top floor. There will not be other people staying at the same time, we rent is as a whole unit. Dig clams on one side and beach and swim on the other!

Guests are welcome to the cottage. The Garage is for owners only, no guest entry.

Garbage is every two weeks. Guests must recycle and compost for garbage pick up. Garbage can and compost are located across the street from the driveway.
We ask that all sand be washed off on the outside tap or removed before showers because it can clog P traps in the drain.
There are four concrete blocks surrounding the entrance to the well which is very close to the driveway, there is a stick in the middle to prevent hitting so you know exactly where it’s at. This is a quiet, tightknit neighborhood, not a place for partying. Of course, socialization is permitted, we just ask that you be respectful of our neighbours and have things relatively quiet by a respectful time, 11 PM.
Parking is permitted in the front of the cottage and along side but never in the back as it is our septic field. Additional guests must be approved by host prior to arrival.

The multiple pictures speak for themselves. The cottage has a glassed in sun room for morning breakfasts and evening card games and a nice screened in sun room. The basement is an open area bedroom/sitting area and bathroom and walks out to ground level. The upstairs bedroom doors are closet louvered doors. The two smaller bedrooms upstairs have a closet and shelves. Basement is nice and cool. Turn the dehumidifier on or off. Three ceiling fans on the upper level.

The beach is a 2-3 minute walk away. Must walk down the road straight to bank then follow bank to the small walkway to the sand, don’t cut through the private lawn nor park there. Cottage driveway is for 2 vehicles.

For the children, a range of beach toys and board games are available. Beach chairs as well as a paddle board are at your beach disposal. I want you to have a safe stay, so please use the provided life jacket with the paddle board.

The beach is unique in that the water is warmer than other coastal areas because of the tide. When the tide recedes, the sun warms the tidal flats. As the water returns, the 'warm' tidal flats transfer their heat to the incoming tide. Tidal pools are especially warm, and are a treat for children to collect shells, crabs, perhaps a starfish - bring your wetsuit if you think it will be too chilly!

Sit back and enjoy the cedar-clad, quintessential Canadian cottage right on the water and absolute tranquility.
Lie on one of the sun loungers and enjoy the view of the inlet and nature from the balcony terrace. If you want to sit even closer to the water, head down to the cottage's own wharf and make yourself comfortable on one of the typical Canadian wooden chairs. In the mood for some exercise? At the boathouse you will find a canoe, two single kayaks, a double kayak and life jackets.
Afterwards, treat yourself to something tasty from the grill. This is located on the upper floor in a so-called "Screenporch". This is a covered outdoor area, which was completely sealed with mosquito netting, so that you have -even after sunset- peace from small pests.

The weather doesn't play along or it's just too cold to stay outside longer?
An outside staircase leads to the main entrance of the house. After taking off your shoes and jackets, you'll enter a great room, which features a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area with seating for 6, and a cozy living room.
Light the fireplace and enjoy the quick and cozy warmth, as well as the fantastic view through the large panoramic windows.
Behind the living/dining area are two bedrooms (a master bedroom and a room with two single beds) and a bathroom with shower tub.
As part of the modernization work, the master bedroom received a new king-size bed and a new mattress.

Via a staircase at the kitchen you reach the ground floor. There you first enter our lovingly named "cinema room". If you don't like the smaller TV set in the living room, you will find it here; a huge TV and a surround system provide real movie enjoyment; a leather couch for coziness.
Furthermore, the third bedroom with a queen-size bed and new mattress and another bathroom with shower are located on this floor.
A washer and dryer are also available for use on the ground floor.
You are still not really warm? Then use the sauna, also on the ground floor of the house. Also in the sauna and the adjoining small relaxation room, the views of the estuary through the built-in panoramic windows are a delight.

The house, built in 2006, is situated in a secluded location in the middle of nature and yet so central that you can reach the nearest town of Antigonish in 10-15 minutes by car.

Welcome to The Beach House where you will find a fully renovated old farmhouse that is only 400m from a sandy beach on the Northumberland Straight and just 10 minutes to town for everything you need!

The space
We just purchased and renovated this beautiful old farmhouse on the shores of the Northumberland Straight where the water reaches 22 degrees in the summer and is even warmer when the tide is low. We are 400m from the beach and have lots of privacy. If you're looking for cottage life with city amenities then this is the place for you!

Inside you will find 5 bedrooms with beds for 10 people. The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a king sized bed. There are two bathrooms...one up and one down (note: upstairs has sloped ceilings so adults can't stand up in the tub but there is a wand). The brand new kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher. The coffee maker is a Keurig so bring your pods. The dining room has seating for 10. The living room has lots of seating and a smart TV. And don't worry kids the Wi-Fi is great and there are lots of board games. The back hall has a workspace for anyone who needs to stay in touch with the office or you can use it as a vanity.

Outside there is a large deck with a Weber BBQ...you'll never want to use another after you've grilled on this. At the front there is a covered veranda for anyone looking for a quiet place to get away. Sit on your rocker and read a book while you have your morning coffee. There is a firepit to roast marshmallows at night. We have some lawn games and even some bikes... two adult size, two 20" and one 24". The deck is very private so while there are lots of neighbours, they aren't close by.

There are two beaches on site- one sandy and one more rocky. Both have sandbars and the waves are small so it is a great spot for young kids. We have some buckets and shovels and a beach umbrella. There are beach towels there for you as well with a clothesline for afterward.

Off the kitchen, an open concept room houses both the dining and living areas with recessed lighting and lots of big windows. The dining area has seating for 6. Adjacent to the dining area, there are patio doors which open onto a large enclosed sunroom. The sunroom overlooks the back yard (it is the exterior picture provided on AirB&B) and has electricity so lighting is available for night time reading/ relaxing. The open living room area has lots of seating, and includes a wall mounted TV, Apple TV, DVD player, amp and speakers for listening to music.

The main living area is closed off to the bedrooms/bathroom by sliding barn doors. The bathroom has an all new enclosed shower/tub, toilet and vanity.

Each of the bedrooms have windows and either a built in closet or wardrobe with lots of space to store clothing/ suitcases etc. The main bedroom has a white washed wood queen bed with lovely beach themed linens. The second bedroom has a beautiful grey wood chevron patterned double bed and the third bedroom a white wooden bunk bed (twin over twin). All mattresses and beds are new.

All of the flooring is new and done in with a wide plank hardwood look. The entire cottage is decorated with modern coastal farmhouse feel.

This newly renovated, oceanfront cottage has 2 bedrooms (2 full beds), 1 full bathroom , an open concept living room and kitchen. Outside you will find an oversized deck (propane bbq), large yard, 4 ft firepit and an oceanside hammock. The perfect place to read a book or watch the million dollar sunset.
With many endless beaches to choose from on the Northumberland strait from 2 min walk or 2 min drive to Waterside Provincial Beach.

3 acres 1/2 acre fenced for pets, ocean view, brought art & antiques up from NYC. Renovated 150 yr old home for Mom now passed. Wood burning fireplace. Washer, dryer, gas stove, ice maker, great books fabulous art. lots of wild life. Beach 3 minutes by car. Neighborhood beach 10 minute walk.

The space
The art, books, furnishings and view make you want to stay forever. Also the corner store sells alcohol being 3 minutes away, as well the beach. There is a private beach for the neighborhood where you can walk your dog/s for miles off leash and pick oysters. The garden gets added to every year. In the spring lots of tulips and daffodils, 4 magnolias, peonies,6 lilacs, iris, lilies, hollyhocks in the late summer. Almost forgot - wisteria.

Guest access
The house is yours for the time rented. You will not see me unless requested. You will drive up most likely from Halifax and head toward Melmerby beach in Kings Head. The house is known as Old Tom MacQueen's house. His spirit sometimes shows up. He is curious.
The house will be open when you arrive. The keyless operation is explained in the book. If you want me there when you arrive then I shall be. There is central air-conditioning. The fireplace works.

Other things to note
There are windows to watch the storms, look at the water and with the wood burning fireplace it's all too cozy. There is internet and cable and a PS3 player, lots of puzzles and games and a few toys for kids. Roku is available upstairs, cable and Roku downstairs. There is internet. Netflix, Disney plus, Paramount, you tube, Prime. Lots of books ! Flowers for the cutting, snips available. Easels are in shed. A primitive fire pit for s'mores. Probably more like a burn pile - had to cut up some trees - 2 apple trees.
Down the road to the left (when looking at the water) is a neighborhood beach where doggo can run off lead. Also bring a bucket or bag for the oysters.
The 2.81 acres are landscaped. I add a tree a year, Fiona took out 4 trees. I have been working at making it like a private park. My plantings are for privacy as well, I don't want to see the neighbors. It also makes it very quiet especially in the summer.

The Quarterdeck Cottage is the perfect place to unwind, explore, and relax. This spacious cottage comfortably accommodates up to six people for a group vacation or family getaway. Walk, hike, or kayak right from your door and enjoy the spectacular sunsets from the sand and rock beach.

The space
There is ample private space in each bedroom for sleeping and relaxing, as well as a central space where your whole group can gather to cook, eat, reconnect..

The Master bedroom is complete with ensuite bath, sitting area, and small private balcony overlooking the water.

The lower bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite bath, sitting area, and a small covered private balcony overlooking the water.

Finally, the loft bedroom has a Double bed, and a small private, elevated balcony.

The three bedrooms are connected by a central staircase to the upper level great room, kitchen, and elevated deck.

The great room has a fantastic panoramic view of water and fields, where the group can play games, watch movies, and share stories.

The chef's kitchen is fully equipped and large enough for several cooks and helpers.

There are indoor and outdoor dining tables that both seat six.

Other things to note
Antigonish Harbour is a protected estuary where you can kayak, sail, or canoe in protected waters--you can access all this from your door. Prepare for spectacular sunsets as you barbeque on the private deck and watch the herons feed at the water's edge.

Kayaks are available free for guest use.

We are 15 minutes from the town of Antigonish, where you will find St. Francis Xavier University, well-stocked stores, and an assortment of restaurants..

For those seeking more beach time, you will find several beaches close by: rugged Dunn's Beach (30 min walk), 2 miles of sandy beach at Pomquet Provincial Park (10 minute drive), Mahoney's Beach (30 min).

Keppoch Mountain, a recreational site for biking, hiking, disc golf, and winter sports is 25 minutes away.

Lobster season here is May and June. The wharf is just down the road.

Little Merb is a beach-side cottage that is a 5 minute walk (500 metres and you are toes-in-sand at Melmerby Beach) to one of the warmest beaches in the Maritimes. There is a large green space for kids to play and the wetland at the foot of the property is a magnet for wildlife (deer, fox, heron). Little Merb is a place to relax and enjoy nature, spectacular sunsets and the seaside life in beautiful Nova Scotia.

With a sandy beach on your doorstep, enjoy an early morning swim, walk the three kilometer beach, relax with a book on the wraparound deck and end the day with a cocktail and a brilliant sunset.

The space
The Beach House has three bedrooms, including a loft bedroom with a half bath and stunning ocean views. But you don’t have to visit the loft to see the ocean. The open concept main level features a living and dining area with a panoramic view of the beach and the sea.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need, including a dishwasher.

The lower level features two bedrooms, a laundry room and a full bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower.

Other things to note
The Beach House can accommodate six visitors, with two double beds and two extra long twin beds.

The property is a 20 minute drive from the town of New Glasgow a 30 minute drive from the PEI ferry and a two hour drive from Halifax, within easy reach of numerous golf courses, parks and other attractions.

This is a family property and we do insist there be no more than six people staying at the property at one time and no parties. Smoking is strictly prohibited and unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets.

The shore house is a newly renovated 4 bedroom 3 bathroom beach house just steps away from the sandy Chance harbour beach. It sits on a private 3 acre lot and is equipped with all the amenities of home, short 4 min beach walk .
It has a lovely screened in sunrise room & spacious kitchen and living area. The rec room has a 65” smart flat screen with Fubo TV and their is a games room with ping pong, Darts and NBA jam arcade.

The Shore house is a newly renovated property in 2022. It’s a spaces home with ample space to accommodate large family’s or multiple family’s.
