Fully equipped kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, living room, dining area, recreation room, washer/dryer, internet, BBQ and easily accessed huge deck and lakefront.

Swim, go fishing or boat from the sunny docks by the beach house and bike or hike right from the cottage! You can also snowshoe, cross country ski or skate right outside your front door in the winter. In less than 20 minutes you can be at Wentworth ski hill, the ocean or your favourite golf course. Or, stay and enjoy the children's playhouse and outside fireplace on the property. Canoe and paddles available for use and there is easy access for boats.

You'll enjoy a lakeside getaway in a two bedroom cottage on beautiful Angevine lake. A warm wood finish open concept living, dining and kitchen area overlooks the lake through the trees. A covered porch with gas bbq invites outdoor cooking with ample space on decking around the cottage. A screened gazebo sits at the shoreline surrounded by a large deck and a dock with a ladder for easy swimming access. The main bedroom has a queen bed and small walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom is larger with two bunk beds (single bed on top and doubles on the bottom). Bathroom has a shower and a small ante room outside the bathroom has a stacked washer and dryer.
The cottage sits on a large lot surrounded by a privacy border of trees. Both sun and shade to be found.
There is walk in access to the lake with a gradual increase in depth. Water depth at the end of the dock is about 3 feet and temperatures are fine for swimming mid June though September. As you watch the sunset from the dock, watch for the passing beaver or loons.

Renovated cottage located on the Shores of the North Humberland Straight. Known for its's warm waters making it ideal for swimming. The cottage features a good size primary bedroom w queen bed, wardrobe and closet. A 2nd bedroom with double bed and wardrobe. Open concept living area with pullout couch (double) electric F/P, tv. Barbecues (propane and charcoal), fire pit (and wood), hammock, toys, badminton, croquet, and washer toss. We have a right of way to the beach close by (pictured) that includes a sitting area with a bench. There are folding chairs under the stairs, and more in the large shed, for beach use.

There's also a large second story patio with umbrella, dining table, deck chairs and propane fire table.

Indoors:
Crib, crokinole, board games, dart board, Smart TV in main room and small TV with built in DVD player in the main floor bedroom with lots of DVDs. As well, a Bose Bluetooth speaker.

We leave condiments and various kitchen essentials for your use.

Enjoy our large soaker tub, with fireplace, in a sauna-like setting. Lots of hot water!!

The Cottage is open concept with a loft bedroom accessible by ladder. It’s designed to sleep four people comfortably. It’s most suitable for couples or small families.

Bed 1 – This bed is located on the main floor of the cottage. After a long day of exploring the outdoors, come sink into your cozy and comfortable queen-sized ENDY mattress and relax. The cottage is open concept, so there is no separation from the bedroom, living room or kitchen. There are curtains for every window if you do not prefer to wake up when the world does.

Bed 2 – This bed is in our loft area. The loft is only accessible by ladder and should be considered when travelling with young children. The second bed is also a super comfortable queen-sized ENDY mattress, which will provide you a comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring.

Kitchen/BBQ – The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, Keurig coffee machine and toaster. We provide pots, pans and the basic kitchen essentials needed for everyday use. We also provide a BBQ for guests to use, which is located on the side of the cottage.

Bathroom – We have a fully equipped bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. We provide towels for our guests during their stay.

Temperature Control – The cottage is equipped with a heat pump which is ideal for any weather. If you like it freezing cold or extra warm, choose which temperature is good for you. There is also additional baseboard heating to help make the cottage toasty warm in the winter months if you so choose.

Dog Policy – We are pet friendly! Please contact us and tell us a little about your furry friend before booking. Please ensure to add your furry friend to the reservation when booking, as a $50 additional cleaning fee will be applied.

Outdoor Area – We are nestled right next to the Balmoral Brook, which offers a private swimming spot in the warmer months. We have a large wrap around deck with glass panels, which allows you to enjoy the beautiful view of the brook and surrounding area. There is also a lower platform right next to the water for those who love the sound of the babbling brook. This is an ideal location for those wanting to relax and become one with nature again. We promise you will not be bored during your stay here

"The Cottage" located in Selma N.S. is on the land of one of the former Acadian settlements and minutes from the Bay of Fundy and world highest tides. It is less than an hour from the airport and 3 golf courses, an hour to Halifax, 2 hours from Cape Breton or the Annapolis Valley. We are minutes from whitewater rafting, mud sliding, tidal bore look off and Anthony Park and amazing Bass fishing.
