Custom-built in 2014, adjacent to the PEI National Park, sleeps 4, and boasts more than 1600 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths.

Guests will find the unique décor including an authentic 8ft fishing dory hanging from the ceiling in the loft area, and lobster traps (that were used by local fishermen) which have been re-purposed as a kitchen pot rack.

In the spacious and bright gourmet kitchen, guests will find an abundance of custom maple cabinetry, quartz counter tops, 4 stainless steel appliances, a full compliment of small appliances by Kitchen Aid and Cuisinart, and a wide selection of PEI's own Paderno pots. Guests will enjoy dining at a kitchen Island that seats 6 in an open concept kitchen/living room area.

We complained the TV wasn’t working, the cottage had a strong musty smell, and had bugs. There was no fire extinguisher. The couch was broken. The bathroom floor and door were dirty. After contacting the host about the TV not working he replied it did work. The barbecue was not clean, so we locked up and went out for dinner. While we were out he entered the cottage to fix the TV without asking our permission. The hot water in the bathroom had soap or something in it and ran steady with milk like bubbles in it. The tub tap ran yellow water to start. Two beds were satisfactory, two beds were old and falling apart…we actually put clothing in between the beds and wall to stop the noise when we rolled over. Our 81 year old mother refused to bath or shower while we were there. The pictures in the ad on the VRBO site are not at all what we arrived to, and we have pictures to prove it. It was Very misleading!! We came from BC to PEI to stay in Cavendish. We are simply sharing this for others to know what to expect. Signed One Very Disappointed Family."

Great location! Beautiful, newly renovated 2 bedroom heated/AC Cottage. Located in Cavendish National Park with stunning Ocean views and only a 7 minute walk to a secluded beach, walking paths and bike lanes. Walk or drive to attractions, shopping, golf, grocery stores and many restaurants. A short walk to Avonlea Village and Green Gables house. A 15 minute drive to most of the 6 golf courses surrounding the area. Close to all amenities and tourist attractions. 30 minute to Charlottetown.

The space
With an ocean view and spectacular sunsets this cottage offers two comfy bedrooms, master has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds, with a double size sofa bed in the living room. A 3 piece bathroom with large/rain head shower with safety hand bars. An open concept kitchen, dining area and living room. It is a fully equipped cottage, all linens and towels are supplied, dishwasher, 3 flat screen T.V.’s with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate your family. The cottage has a Netflix, Spotify etc., Wi-Fi.

Enjoy indoor dining or outdoors on a deck with an ocean view, outfitted with a propane BBQ (propane provided), furnished deck, or sitting around the adjacent firepit. Deck has been extended to double the space of what is shown in the photo. Many nearby family activities. Spacious lot, with plenty of trees and bushes, and ample parking. Tastefully decorated and well maintained.

During your summer stay you can watch the fishing boats catching your supper. Fresh seafood, oceanside pathway/shops/restaurants, theatre & the National Park are at your doorstep. The acclaimed Blue Mussel Cafe, one of PEI's top seafood restaurants is a 10 minute drive away in North Rustico. We are located near many of PEI's attractions, or relax and read a good book around the spacious grounds.

The cottage has a large yard that is perfect for croquet, washer toss, frisbee or a game of catch. In the evening enjoy yourselves by the campfire. Enjoy beautiful PEI life at its best.
