We had the pleasure of spending a weekend at the Rosebank Cottage this fall. The cottage was very nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, and all of the necessary amenities were on hand. Having a half bath/powder room downstairs and a separate den with TV were very convenient. The quiet setting and view of the Miramichi River added to the charm. We would definitely visit again and recommend it to others!

- "I came with my siblings for a reunion. We spent half the time away from the cabin traveling and half at the cabin. I loved the traveling as this was prime location to travel our other destination points. When we were relaxing at the cabin theit was just blissful. The quietness of the area, the beautiful water views and sunrises/sunsets were just amazing. The ile of beaubears is just feet from the cabin and offers boat ride to anisland and 6km of trails. Just amazing. Wish i had the time to do a month!"

Experience the thrill of fly fishing for atlantic salmon and trout. Fishing licences and fly fishing supplies easily available in blackville as well as any thing else one may need. Guides are available.

Salmon And The Miramichi River
The Miramichi River and its tributaries originally supported one of the largest populations of Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) in North America. The Atlantic salmon is an anadromous fish, that is, one that is hatched and grows briefly in freshwater and then migrates to salt water while immature to grow to maturity, before returning to fresh water to spawn and complete their life cycle. The Miramichi River still maintains a reasonably healthy, self-sustaining run of Atlantic salmon, as well as lesser runs of other anadromous fish such as American Shad, smelt, herring and sea-run brook trout. About one-half of the sport catch of Atlantic salmon in North America are landed on the Miramichi River and its tributaries currently.

Atlantic salmon fishing is restricted to fly fishing only and all large salmon caught must be released alive to protect the spawning population. Since this fishery is highly regulated, all anglers should contact the New Brunswick Dept. of Natural Resources to obtain the specific rules and regulations for each river and tributary in the Province of New Brunswick prior to fishing, as special licenses, salmon "tags" and permits are required, and certain sections of tributaries and the main river are closed to fishing from time to time to protect salmon brood stocks.

Popular salmon flies on the Miramichi River include the Black Bear series, the Cosseboom series, Butterfly, Oriole, and the Blackville Special. Deerhair flies such as the "Buck Bug" are also successful. Major portions of the Miramichi River salmon fishing waters are controlled by private clubs and outfitters, with "public water" that is available to all very limited. Further, all non-resident anglers must hire a registered guide to fish for Atlantic salmon in New Brunswick. Guides available upon request

Cozy Current Cabin

Arrival:
The road to our driveway is an ATV trail.Usecautioncoming in and out of the driveway,especially backing onto the trail. The ATV-ERS HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY.

You may notice have a security camera overlooking the driveway. This is part of our security protocol for your protection and ours. Please note, this is the only place we have monitored by camera.

Similar to most cabins in the woods, the tap water isNOTsuitable for drinking. We provide fresh water in the water cooler in the kitchen. As for cooking and bathing, the water is perfectly fine.

The hot tub cover is a two-person job. If you're staying as one guest, only open half. Use the handles and please doNOTpull on the flaps.
Please note that this is a cabin in the woods. We have pet-safe bait boxes set up around the house (indoor and outdoor) for the occasional critter. We do everything we can to keep them under control and for the most part, have had no issues.

The driveway is on a dirt path that will get mucky in spring weather. Mostly sandy grounds and dries quickly.

The fire pit is not maintained in the winter months but can be used at renters' discretion.

There is a 25$ fee for pets. Please let us know in your booking request if you are bringing your pets.

Just a heads-up:

When you check in, we'll put a $500 hold on your credit card that you used to book your stay. This hold will be released within 72 hours after you check out, provided everything's in good shape.

CANCELLATION. In the event of a cancellation by the guest, refunds will be processed according to our cancellation policy, minus any credit card processing fees (these credit card fees only apply when booking direct or through VRBO.
1. Please be extremely careful around the screens. We will have to bill out any damages.
2. If leaving patio doors open for any reason make sure they are secured so they do not slam shut.
3. Excessive alcohol in a hot tub is extremely dangerous. please read up on why drinking in a hot tub is not safe.
4. Leave your garbage inside in the garbage can to prevent rodents.
5. Please clean your dishes and put them away.
5. Always step in the hot tub where the pipe is. It is a higher step inside the tub.
6. Pet Policy
Pets are welcome upon request for a one-time fee of $45. To help us keep the space clean for all guests, please follow these guidelines:
Keep doors closed to any unused rooms.
Pick up after your pet outdoors.
If there is excessive pet hair, please do your best to clean it up.
We love having furry friends join us, but they do add to the cleaning time. Thanks for helping us keep things tidy!

- "We had the best stay here. The weather wasn’t on our side day 1 but between the cedar hot tub & the coziness of the indoors, it didn’t matter! The couch is honestly the comfiest one I have ever sat on so that made a rainy movie night even better! When letting the dogs out before bed we discovered fireflies lighting up the entire outdoors. This was pretty magical, especially for my 6 year old. The beds and the bedding were extremely comfortable. The place is fully stocked so you will want for nothing. It felt great being able to bring my dogs with us and they loved being down by the water. My son also caught his first fish while we were here so this place will be etched in our minds forever. Can’t say enough great things & we will definitely be back!"

I've also supplied 2 beach chairs and a beach umbrella if you decide to go to a beach! Kellys Beach at Kouchibouguac is nice.

There is even an RV outlet on the side of the cottage for you to plug into.

There are many winter activities in the area. Lots of snowmobile and ATV trails, as well as walking trails.

After your day of exploring, relax in the 2-person outdoor sauna. In the summer there is also a cold water outdoor shower, perfect for a quick rinse after the sauna!

Du Vin General Store (Wilson's) is 5 minutes away, they are a gas station with a convenience store that also sells beer, wine, and alcohol. If you need groceries or supplies, Miramichi is a 20 minute drive. Moncton is 90 minutes away, they also have a Costco.

In Miramichi, French Fort Cove has many beautiful trails, as well as a zipline that operates in the summer. Kouchibouguac National Park also has many beautiful trails, and is only 30 minutes away. Bouctouche has a vibrant farmers market, just over an hour away. It's on the way to Moncton so you could make a day of it and visit both!

Interior: The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything needed for preparing your meals. We have a Nespresso coffee machine with different capsules. Sheets, duvets and pillows on site are included as well as bath towels.

Outside: A BBQ with propane is available on the deck. In the evening, you can relax around the fire pit or in the gazebo with electricity. Travelers' favorite spot is on the porch/deck at the front of the cottage on the rocks with an incredible view. The short walk to the lighthouse with your feet in the sand is really worth it (500m).

Cottage on the beach, sleeps up to 4. When you step out the beachside door you are on a private beach. There are kayaks and a bbq. Enjoy a nightly fire on the beach. Our geodesic domes are comfortable year-round accommodations, distinct from tents as they are solid structures with excellent insulation against cold and snow.

Each dome features heated floors, air conditioning via a heat pump, and two rocking chairs beside a pellet-burning stove for cozy evenings. We provide clean, warm bedding, a fully equipped bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity, towels, and a hair dryer, as well as a kitchenette equipped with a hot plate, convection toaster oven, fridge with freezer, Keurig latte coffee machine, microwave, tea kettle, and essential amenities for preparing meals. Each dome also includes a private hot tub and a yard facing the river. During summer, guests can enjoy a BBQ with propane provided, along with patio chairs.
