The "Blue Room", named by the grandkids, is the perfect place to land after a day of exploring the Rangeley Lakes area. Situated right on Beaver Mountain lake, this is a comfy cozy room over the detached garage of the camp.
The Blue Room is equipped with two twin beds, tv, wifi, Rinnai heat, shower, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is a washer and dryer downstairs in the garage which you may use and share with owners if they are in main camp.
The space
We have decided to share this little slice of heaven! The camp sits right on Beaver Mountain lake. Listen to the loons as you drift off to sleep and enjoy all the gifts Rangeley has to offer. No matter the season this is the perfect place to land after a day of playing in the Maine mountains. There are some awesome restaurants in the area and I will provide a list of them in the room.
The shower is a unique set up, it's called a wet room, where the shower, toilet and sink are all in one room. There is no door just a shower curtain. (I know, different, we didn't build it, it was there😜) It gets the job done!

A cozy upstairs apartment, clean and bright with modern wide pine panelling and expansive views of the lake. A one-floor unit with one bedroom, one bathroom, living and dining area, full kitchen, and large outside deck. Canoe, kayak, paddles, lifejackets included. Shared private beach.

Spacious studio apartment on idyllic Mooselookmeguntic Lake. Almost 900 sqft of living space with a large deck. Private seating area by the lake reserved for guests.
The space
The main house and apartment share a path down to a beach and dock area. We have a few chairs on a deck platform and a picnic table to the left side of the dock for guesthouse use. Depending on the lake level, there is a small beach on the left below the platform for guests in the guesthouse. The main beach is reserved for the main house.
Due to liability, personal watercraft on the beach are for exclusive owner use only. We can direct you to local businesses that offer them for rent.
Mooselookmeguntic Lake is dam controlled. Lake levels drop in the fall. We aim to have the dock in from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Guest access
The driveway to the apartment is a steep switchback. A four wheel drive vehicle is necessary to use it in the winter.
Guest parking available for one vehicle next to the garage. Please do not park in front of garage or block driveway.
Additional parking for trailers on Birches Beach Road.
Other things to note
Parking area on main road for boat or snowmobile trailers.
4x4 or AWD vehicles are necessary to access the property during winter.
The apartment has a maximum occupancy of 4 guests. Only the number of persons booked may stay. Violation of this policy will lead to immediate cancellation without refund.

Great little guest cottage on the western shore of Rangeley Lake. This property does share the waterfront area with the Main House, but guests do have access to the dock (one side), the walk in area, and 2 kayaks on a first come first serve basis.
