The kitchen and living room are an open space. There is comfortable seating for 2 people at the kitchen counter and 2 additional folding bar stools to use when needed. The bathroom has a stand up shower with a rainfall shower head, a vanity and standard flushing toilet.
The super cozy loft bedroom is up a set of stairs and has a very comfortable queen sized bed, reading lights and a shelf area for storing your clothes or belongings.
The living room sofa converts to a double bed with a skylight above for an enchanting view of the stars at night. There are no curtains in the living room area so this room lets in the morning light.
This is a small but cozy home that was designed for year-round, full time living. Outside, there is a screened-in gazebo with a very comfortable couch and love seat and a propane fire table. There is also a wood fire pit and a Napoleon propane BBQ.

Upon your arrival you can park in the designated parking spot directly across from the guest entrance. Although the rental space is connected to our home, you have your own complete entrance - your own 900 square feet of living space - separate from the main home.

The front deck is yours to enjoy, along with the back deck where you'll find the BBQ and patio furniture.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Within walking distance to beach - minutes away from walking trails and water park!!

Getting Around:
Tons of parking on site. You will be within walking distance to the beach, trails and water park. A short drive away are 2 other beaches, trails and all shopping and entertainment.

Common issues are replacing ruined blankets/throws, damaged furniture and any where from 2-4 extra hours required by the cleaners to remove pet hair throughout the rest of the space.

We are located 15 minutes from the historic seaside village of St. Martins, originally a shipbuilding community, and now a popular summer tourist destination. You can visit the famous St. Martins Sea Caves and experience some of the highest tides in the world. There are excellent dining choices in the area, including some of the best lobster rolls and fried clams in New Brunswick, a cafe with delicious local coffee and baked goods, and a new bar with craft beer, cocktails, charcuterie boards, and oysters.

St. Martins is also the gateway to the Fundy Trail Parkway, which boasts incredible views and is a great hiking destination. It is also one driving route to get to Fundy National Park, which is an hour and 10 minutes from where you'll be staying.

We are also located 15 minutes from several outstanding secluded ocean beaches, as well as lakes with public beaches for swimming on hot days. We are 30 minutes from Saint John, the oldest incorporated city in Canada, where you will find an incredibly well preserved historic uptown, excellent dining options and nightlife, as well as a chance to view the world famous Reversing Falls. There is an abundance of activities in the area, and we will be happy to provide guests with a list of suggestions for hiking, dining, and sightseeing.

Things to note:

The barn is a separate structure on our property that is approximately 30 feet from our main house. We are an artist couple who work from home. One of our studios is in a converted garage approximately 20 feet from the barn. We are a very quiet couple and expect the same from our guests. The barn is located about 150 feet from Route 111, which is the main road that leads to St. Martins. It can be busy in the summer, but gets very quiet at night.

The hot water in the barn is from a 20 gallon tank, so hot water will last for two short showers at approximately 5 minutes each. Our house is rural, so we use a septic system, which means no non-septic safe material can be flushed or put down any drain. The only toilet paper to be flushed is the paper we provide. The barn's water is our well water that we use for bathing and brushing teeth, but we do not drink it. We will supply two liters of drinkable water per stay, and guests are responsible to bring their own water.

We offer a private hot tub that’s just a few steps from the dome patio. The hot tub area is covered so it can be enjoyed no matter what the weather looks like. There are two robes in the dome that are perfect for going to and from the hot tub.

The patio area has a BBQ, two comfy Adirondack chairs and a fire table ready for you to relax and take in the sounds of nature.

When you enter the dome, you’ll see a little dining area for 2 and a kitchenette where a full meal can be made.

Off from the dining/kitchen area is the bedroom with a super comfy Endy king sized bed. Crisp white sheets await! Look up to the skylight or forward to the giant window overlooking a wooded area. The curtain can be drawn from either side of the window.

We have a beautiful egg chair hanging which overlooks the panoramic window. It’s the best seat to enjoy a morning coffee.

The speaker that sits in the rattan shelf has the bluetooth feature. Tune into our Moonshine Dome Retreat Spotify playlist and play a game of Crib or Yahtzee.

The bathroom is just off the bedroom which has a sliding door for privacy. Enjoy a hot shower with rain shower head. We offer professional products for shampoo and conditioner. Body wash is also supplied. In the full sized vanity, you’ll find a hairdryer. We also supply 2 bath towels per guest (based on a 2 night stay), 2 facecloths and hand towels.

Experience Lake Life!
There’s a common beach/lake access area just a short 1 minute walk away from the dome. Perfect for floating the afternoon away in a giant floatie, tube or bring your kayaks or SUP for a paddle. The Washademoak Lake is a lovely one!

Other things to note
We recommend bringing the following items to ensure a comfortable stay:

- A meal plan suited for what we have available for cooking: BBQ, 2 hot plate burners, air fryer, microwave & toaster.
- A cooler for extra food & drink storage.
- Slippers for inside the dome as the floors can feel cold.
- Hard sole slippers or sandals for going to and from the hot tub.
- Bug spray and sunscreen.
- Floaties/tubes/kayaks for the lake if that’s your vibe.
- A tablet or other device for streaming movies.
- Condiments like butter, ketchup, milk, sugar if you think you’ll be needing those
- Ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. The dome doesn’t offer much protection from outdoor noise.
- Chargers for phones etc.
- Water shoes if you plan to go in the lake.
- Don’t forget your swim suit!
