You'll enjoy a lakeside getaway in a two bedroom cottage on beautiful Angevine lake. A warm wood finish open concept living, dining and kitchen area overlooks the lake through the trees. A covered porch with gas bbq invites outdoor cooking with ample space on decking around the cottage. A screened gazebo sits at the shoreline surrounded by a large deck and a dock with a ladder for easy swimming access. The main bedroom has a queen bed and small walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom is larger with two bunk beds (single bed on top and doubles on the bottom). Bathroom has a shower and a small ante room outside the bathroom has a stacked washer and dryer.
The cottage sits on a large lot surrounded by a privacy border of trees. Both sun and shade to be found.
There is walk in access to the lake with a gradual increase in depth. Water depth at the end of the dock is about 3 feet and temperatures are fine for swimming mid June though September. As you watch the sunset from the dock, watch for the passing beaver or loons.

Our newly built log home offers two bedrooms with two queen beds, an air mattress for an additional guest or child, and a pack and play for smaller children. You'll find two full bathrooms, with the main level featuring a tub/shower combination and a washer and dryer, while the upstairs ensuite boasts a stand-up shower and double sinks. The main living area features cathedral ceilings and abundant natural light throughout the day. A fully equipped kitchen has all the amenities needed to prepare meals for friends or family, and a BBQ on the back deck is available for your use. In the backyard, relax in the screened-in room with comfortable furniture, or gather around the fire pit with chairs overlooking the green space. Keep an eye out for deer, bear, and birds in the area. On the front covered porch, you'll find beach essentials, including a wagon with beach buckets and frisbees, four folding chairs, and an umbrella. Private access to Blue Sea Beach is a 5-7 minute walk to the end of the subdivision. Note that the bridge crossing the brook is erected between June and October; access to the beach is still available year-round with some walking around the brook.

Our cottage is located approximately 100m from the beach on the Northumberland Straight. The beach is sandy, then a few rocks and shells before reaching the sandbars. Many sandbars at low tide are great for kids and fun to explore. The ocean is the warmest here in all of Nova Scotia.

Our view is unobstructed and oceanfront. Enjoy the sunset from the deck or indoors.

Our Chalet offers all of the amenities you will need, including a Hottub, and provides great areas for entertaining and spaces for quiet times as well.

The Chalet offers a fully stocked kitchen, a living room (sofa with pull-out cot) with a large flat screen TV, one full bedroom with a queen bed, a three piece bath, and a garage/recreation area. The house and garage are both equipped with heat pumps for clean heating and air-conditioning. The private back yard hosts a four person table on a brand new stamped concrete patio with an umbrella nestled in the trees, a large BBQ, a fire pit with four chairs, and a large grassed area for washer toss or other outdoor games. The inside garage space has a bar area, a large flat screen TV and a dart board for you to enjoy!

A brand new hotub has been installed adjacent to the new stamped concrete patio for your enjoyment! A relaxing soak is a great way to wind down after a day of vacation!

If weather doesn't permit for outside dining and/or activities, the table and games can be brought inside to the garage. The garage is also equipped with a dart board. This is a great area for additional entertainment. You have the option of opening the two sliding garage doors as well. This gives you the feeling of being outside and also allows you to have the privacy and beautiful view of the greenery in the comfort of a dry space. You may even see some small wildlife!

The fire pit area is just a short walk from the outside dining area. This quiet space is surrounded by trees and is great for enjoying a nighttime campfire! There is also ample space for washer toss in these out door spaces.

You can hit the 4 wheeling trials right from the chalet. You can unload and hit the trial head just 200 meters up the dirt road. There are some great destinations to experience including our renown cable bridge and Babs look off. If you download Polaris ride command you will have GPS acess to all of our trials.

The space
Your room is large, quiet and private from the main cottage with a garden view. There's a comfy queen bed, a lounge area with games and a TV with Netflix, a small area for prepping simple meals (if you prefer the privacy) and an area for hand washing. There is a work table, dining table and great wifi for work purposes.

Options for your room if you have a pet are: large dog bed, water bowls, dog towels.

Pets are considered on an individual basis. In general we accept LARGE breed dogs (OVER 30lbs) and extremely well behaved cats. No aggressive dogs, no high prey dogs. Our property is fully fenced. Daycare options are available.

As listed this is a NON SMOKING property - which means the entire property including the driveway.

Let us know roughly when you plan to check in so that we can make sure we are here to greet you. We ask that you respect that this is our home and check-in hours are dictated by our bedtime. Pugwash has many amenities which may close between 5pm and 8pm depending on the day. Being prepared with a bit of food is key to a good visit!

You will have access to the main floor of our home which includes a full kitchen, open living/dining area and a bathroom with a shower and washer/dryer. If you need laundry done we will run the machines for you. Outside, you have access to the deck, which includes a partial outdoor kitchen and shower, both with hot and cold water. The yard is a shared space and offers gardens, a lounge swing and a fire pit. We have tennis rackets, pickle ball rackets, washer toss and practice golf available.

During your stay
You will be sharing our home with us and we will share helpful information to make your stay with us great and your travels awesome. If you have requests please send them to us ahead of your visit.

Other things to note
Our space is communal if you want it to be - and very private if you choose. There are areas to socialize and areas to be alone.

If you're curious about our pricing our goal is to provide a reasonably priced accommodation for a single traveller. An additional guest is an additional fee. This is to make travel more affordable and fair for single occupancy, not to penalize double occupancy.

We also love to do home improvement projects so it's possible that we will be engaged in some sort of renovation work.
