We were able to visit each other in comfort and catch up on our last 10 years. The bed/couch were comfortable and the place quiet for sleeping. The place was SPOTLESS, and the view from the bed was lovely. (being a bit of an insomniac, I enjoyed the lights of the fishing boats out on the water from the comfort of the bed). We didn't use the sweet little deck (winter) but the view would have been lovely there too. The bathroom was stunning - heated floors, and the shower was the most technologically advanced thing I've ever seen - We were on our way to Nordic Spa, so I didn't try the shower, but my friend said it was amazing. Our hostess kindly left us yummy breakfast items, and there was tea and coffee. Our only regrets were from our end...we tried our best to scrape our boots well before entering, and had there been a sink available (other than the bathroom sink) we would would have tidied up better - so we felt guilty about tracking a bit of gravel and leaving dishes."

Raven Hill Suite is the lower level under Raven Hill Cottage (rented separately). The suite has a separate, private entrance on the side of the home (exterior stairs required to descend into the suite).

The cottage is over 100 years old and was originally on a different location on the property. The current owners removed the cottage from it's crumbling foundation and moved it to a new location on the property which allowed them to build this gorgeous, fresh space below the cottage for guests.
We are excited to host you, but we have some expectations to allow us to continue to host you and other guests happily and safely.
1. This is a self-check-in property. By booking, you understand that you can do this (operate a lockbox and/or smart lock), make sure you check the house manual for instructions. We are happy to help if you have trouble.
2. We expect to find the home in the same condition you found it - without damage, without missing items, and without the excessive mess. Also, without furniture moved. If you must move furniture, please move it back before you leave, as we often have staff cleaning a property alone and therefore cannot safely move the furniture back. Plus this is a common courtesy since you’re staying in our home.
3. Under no circumstances will parties or events be hosted in the home; violation of this rule can result in your full damage deposit not being returned and/or even immediate removal without a refund. We encourage you to gather with friends and family to play games, laugh, etc but please be mindful of the associated house rules.
4. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm on weekdays and 11 pm on weekends. This quiet time is best described as: being quiet on the floors if units below are in use, music at a minimum and loud conversations are not permitted.
5. The occupancy limit noted on our listing is not to be exceeded whether it’s visitors or guests staying the night.
6. Absolutely no smoking of cigarettes, cannabis or use of hookahs at the property. If you choose to use a vape, please do so outside the home.

There is a drugstore adjacent to this property and a grocery store that is 3 minute walk away. Kentville also offers Centrestage Theatre. There are trails and also miner's marsh, great for walking with beautiful scenery!

This is a 2 separate unit home.
The apartment upstairs is very bright with natural light, it is fully furnished with everything you need. Has private entry.
Its located upstairs of the owner of the house, who lives in the 2nd unit downstairs. Its located in a residential area that is centrally located in the downtown Kentville core.
Minute walking distance to all cafes, pubs, cider place, museums, hospitals, parks, public pool, slash pad, tennis court, basketball court and shopping. wifi etc.

The space
You'll be very pleasantly surprised when you see this cozy location, it's equipped with a washer/dryer(detergent not included) and lots of closet space in two of the bedrooms. A full patio area with seating, Lots of natural light and beautiful hardwood floors throughout.

This is a century home so expect older characters and century home details. This is not a modern style stay but cozy and warm none the less. This is not a good fit for anyone with mobility issues for there's lots of stairs to climb.

Fully furnished from 3 bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. You will literally need to just bring yourself, clothing and food.

There is extra blankets, linens and pillows in draws and closets, lots of extra towels. Lots of regular coffee and def, assorted teas, French press and coffee grinder. Assorted perishable food goods.

There is a DVD player with a few movies to choose from and WIFI. An extra HDMI cord is provided for streaming as well.

Every room has the hotwater rads so you'll find they heat up quick and hold the warmth well. There is also a heat pump in the main living room area with access to the remote to control temps. I've placed stand up fans in the closets for hot summer nights or just white noise.

Guest access
There is a front and back entrance to the upstairs unit. The back leads on to a patio with sitting area which is Private to that guest. In the winter time the back steps are off limits, front door only for access to the unit. The back patio is off limits during snowing days.
During the winter months there is a no parking rule on the road placed by the town, fines will be provided if vehicles are not move for snow removal.

Other things to note
There is parking access in the very back of the house that can accommodate up to two vehicles or you can park in front of the house when there's no snow band in place.

•While the apartment is private with its own entrance, it is part of a shared building with other residents living upstairs. You may hear occasional noise, but they have no access to your unit.

•When you arrive, please park in the small driveway on the right-hand side of the property (closer to Main Street). You’ll see a set of steps and a walkway that lead directly to the entrance of the unit. This is the most convenient spot for unloading and access.

•The apartment is bright and sunny, but as it is a lower-level unit, there are a few steps to access the entrance.

•We provide all the essentials, including fresh linens, towels, coffee, tea, and basic toiletries, so you can settle in comfortably.

•Please be respectful of quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone.
