The loft is located within a minutes walking distance of the walking trail, Carleton Park and Picaroons Roundhouse, which also now includes the 540 Kitchen Bar and the Tipsy Muse Cafe.

Further along Union Street, in the opposite direction guests will find many amenities including New England Pizza, Jean Couteau, Giant Tiger, NB Liquor, Dairy Queen and Tim Hortons. Further down Union onto Main Street is Wolastoq Wharf's Seafood Restaurant and the German Schnitzel Parlour. If guests prefer to cook in, Saint Mary's grocery store is a 2-minute's drive away.

There is enough parking for a maximum of 2 vehicles in the parking lot located at the back of the house.

The space includes a fully equipped kitchen, and a living room/dining area on the main floor. The second floor includes a washroom, one bedroom with a king-size bed, and a second room with a full/double-size bed. The couch downstairs can also easily be transformed into an extra full/double bed.

2 adult bikes and 1 child's bike are available for guest use.
Located on bus route 15S Hanwell

Due to the constraints of the historical layout of the home, some guests may find the stairs a bit steep and narrow which may impact guests with mobility issues.

Although the sloped ceilings on the second floor add a lot of warmth and cozy character to the space, they may pose issues for taller individuals.

Just an FYI: the backyard is a shared space by tenants and neighbours. The outdoor brick pizza oven and fire pit is currently off limits to guests due to safety concerns and ever-changing city fire regulations.

However, guests are more than welcome to use the outdoor picnic area and enjoy their morning coffee in the back yard.

Two bedroom apartment in the basement of a beautiful two storey home settled in Historic Marysville. Originally an old carriage house that was re-imagined into a granny suite for the host Matt's grandmother, by his father, and lovingly nicknamed 'the Shed' over 35 years ago. And more recently re-designed into a home away from home.

~This apartment is located on the third floor high amongst the tree’s. It almost feels like you’re in a tree house with views of roof tops and some downtown buildings. It features a skylight lit open concept kitchen; a comfortable sectional leather couch to curl up on and an amazing book nook surrounded by windows. Perfect for curling up on to read a great book or gazing out the windows. Located directly across the street at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre is a Wood Fired Oven Pizza & Cafe.
