Welcome to our labor of love, ~The Balancing Rock Flat~. Nestled just off the shores of Shediac Bay and minutes from downtown Shediac and Parlee Beach. Our space is a perfect blend of modern comforts and functionality for all travellers alike.

We understand the importance of rest and wanted to create a space that would give others the opportunity to truly unwind. Our home is situated on an acre of land that is surrounded by trees and gardens. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We chose to create a very calming vibe. The two bedrooms are modestly decorated. We focused our efforts on ensuring our queen size beds are incredibly comfortable by offering 100% cotton sheets, along with a cozy and soft mattress cover that adds an extra level of comfort for those who appreciate it, along with different degrees of pillow firmness to ensure that everyone gets a pillow that is right for them. The couch in the living room pulls out into another queen size bed - there is also a luxurious mattress topper for this sleeping accommodation too. Although the dining room set is for four people, there are two comfortable stools located at our breakfast bar. The smart tv is ready to connect with any of your streaming accounts should you choose this. Our goal is to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, and if there is something that has been forgotten please don’t ever hesitate to reach out so that we can try and make things right!

There is a platform style patio with a privacy wall that has been designated for our guests.

I have a wellness studio in my living space where I offer energy treatments working with various modalities, along with nutritional and lifestyle coaching. Those who are interested in booking a session can contact me directly for availability and fees.

Note: Construction is currently taking place at the front of the property. This is a two bedroom apartment open year round for rental. The apartment is on ground level and a good option for people who don’t want to deal with stairs, with no steps from the time you get out of your vehicle right on into the apartment and inside the entire apartment. There is a 2” step up into the entranceway door. It has a kitchen with full size appliances and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and dryer. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a trundle bed that has two twins. The patio has a barbecue and leads onto a grassed backyard. At the back of the property there are trees that lead down to the bay. There are no buildings behind the apartment, which helps to make this place very quiet and relaxing. A good place to listen to the birds and feel the breeze off the bay. My sister, who is a writer, said it is a writers retreat.
When you go out of the unit through the parking area, and turn right, the bay is a two minute walk away. I love to wander down onto the beach and walk along the waters edge.

First, thank you for considering our loft for your stay in Shediac this Summer. This separate room above our garage has been renovated in summer 2021. Our home is one of the few heritage houses in the area and offers a lovely view of our flowers and gardens. This bright and beachy themed loft is located in a peaceful neighborhood, close to all that Shediac has to offer; 5-12 min walk to restaurants and shops and a 5 min drive to Parlee Beach. Moncton is also only 20 min away.

Our loft has a separate private entry, large open room with a living area, private bathroom and 1 queen size bed. It also has a small separate cozy balcony for your relaxing evenings outside. You will have all the loft by yourself!

As you walk into the apartment you will enter the kitchen and living room, starting down the hallway will be the laundry room on the right and the bathroom on the left, the end of the hallway is the over size bedroom with 2 closets

Access to the Apartment is through the door to the left of the big garage door , lock box is to the right of the door to retrieve the key, then straight down stairs to the apartment door

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. Minutes away from the beach, boat tours available upon request. Central to all local hockey rinks. Hit the ATV trails from the back yard. A guide can be provided to get to the best trails in the area. Recreational room with pool table and fireplace. Welcome to our labor of love, ~The Balancing Rock Flat~. Nestled just off the shores of Shediac Bay and minutes from downtown Shediac and Parlee Beach. Our space is a perfect blend of modern comforts and functionality for all travellers alike.

We understand the importance of rest and wanted to create a space that would give others the opportunity to truly unwind. Our home is situated on an acre of land that is surrounded by trees and gardens. We hope you love it as much as we do!

The space
We chose to create a very calming vibe. The two bedrooms are modestly decorated. We focused our efforts on ensuring our queen size beds are incredibly comfortable by offering 100% cotton sheets, along with a cozy and soft mattress cover that adds an extra level of comfort for those who appreciate it, along with different degrees of pillow firmness to ensure that everyone gets a pillow that is right for them. The couch in the living room pulls out into another queen size bed - there is also a luxurious mattress topper for this sleeping accommodation too. Although the dining room set is for four people, there are two comfortable stools located at our breakfast bar. The smart tv is ready to connect with any of your streaming accounts should you choose this. Our goal is to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, and if there is something that has been forgotten please don’t ever hesitate to reach out so that we can try and make things right!
