As mentioned, almost everything is brand new such as the couch, the mattress, the bedding, the kitchen appliances, coffee machine, microwave, tv, etc are new. And when I say the place is fully equipped with everything you will need, you could literally live here for the year and only need to bring your clothes. And if it is not in the Loft we will find it for you.

Water is clean, sand is soft and plentiful, sand bars are exposed at low tide and you would be hard pressed to see many other people. Don't forget about the romantic spectacular sunset directly over the ocean directly in front of the Loft as you drink from your wine glass with your favorite wine . The entire time, you will have undisturbed peace and quiet with no sounds coming from road traffic or from the neighbors. At night, the stars are bright, the sky is dark and the only sounds are coming from the diverse Eco-system of the ocean . It is a magical melodic hypnotic symphony of waves crashing. Welcome to our labor of love, ~The Balancing Rock Flat~. Nestled just off the shores of Shediac Bay and minutes from downtown Shediac and Parlee Beach. Our space is a perfect blend of modern comforts and functionality for all travellers alike.

We understand the importance of rest and wanted to create a space that would give others the opportunity to truly unwind. Our home is situated on an acre of land that is surrounded by trees and gardens. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We chose to create a very calming vibe. The two bedrooms are modestly decorated. We focused our efforts on ensuring our queen size beds are incredibly comfortable by offering 100% cotton sheets, along with a cozy and soft mattress cover that adds an extra level of comfort for those who appreciate it, along with different degrees of pillow firmness to ensure that everyone gets a pillow that is right for them. The couch in the living room pulls out into another queen size bed - there is also a luxurious mattress topper for this sleeping accommodation too. Although the dining room set is for four people, there are two comfortable stools located at our breakfast bar. The smart tv is ready to connect with any of your streaming accounts should you choose this. Our goal is to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, and if there is something that has been forgotten please don’t ever hesitate to reach out so that we can try and make things right!

- "Our host was super. As in most country settings with septic systems there can be issues with pumps, etc. And these issues don't let you know when they are about to happen. Kathy came down right away to let us know what was happening and the effect it could have on our stay (it had absolutely none), she even suggested a discount. The place was very clean and well equipped for all cooking and baking needs. There was cereal, snack, milk, cream, spices etc. It is located nicely for visiting PEI, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Kathy even sent a nice note after we left thanking us for the way we left the apartment. It feels good to be treats so well. We are now back in BC feeling happy and fulfilled from our Maritime adventure. The only issue that I had was with Vrob. Communication with them was very difficult. They sent the wrong security code. - "Spent 6 nights with my adult family while in town to surprise my Mother for Christmas. Asked the host if they had a roasting pan large enough for a 20lb turkey and they made sure to have one waiting for me when I arrived. Communication with host was always responded to quickly and positively. My family all commented on how wonderful the property was and how much better of a decision it was to rent this property vs just getting hotel rooms. Very lovely location, looking out onto Jones lake, must be even more spectacular during the summer. Would definitely stay here again."

- "The property is very new and very clean. The two bathrooms are nicely done. The upstairs bathroom has a walk in shower, the downstairs bathroom is a tub shower combination. The floor on the lower level, with the downstairs bathroom, bedroom, laundry, building hallway access and a desk area has a finished concrete floor, which is very nice. The main floor is laminate, with an area rug. We found the beds to be very comfortable, with firm mattresses. There were no windows in the downstairs bedroom. The kitchen seems well equipped, with an electric kettle and small coffee maker and dishwasher. There is an amenities basket with coffee, tea and whitener. During our stay, we needed to provide our own Kleenex and laundry soap. There were paper towels in the kitchen, no dishcloths. There is a large parking lot, with ample free parking. The location is fabulous. There’s a highly rated bakery cafe steps away, across the street. There’s affordable eating options and shops within a short walk up the block. There is a $500 damage deposit. We simply took pictures of areas of concern during our check in and sent them to Corrine. She acknowledged that her cleaners had made note of those areas. I would suggest doing an inspection on check in to ensure that both parties are in agreement with the condition of the property. We would be happy to stay here again."

This is a studio apartment. Bedroom, sitting room and kitchen are all in 1 space. Also guest will use the main entrance to get to the basement (don’t worry about disturbing me, you can choose to go out and come in anytime even at midnight. I’m perfectly fine with that :) )NO SEPARATE ENTRANCE but the apartment door has a key 🔑 lock for added privacy. When you’re in, I can’t have access to the apartment. You can go out and lock the door and be assured that no one will get in there. I will leave the key 🔑 on the door knob.
