Constant entertainment, and amazingly quiet and peaceful, all at the same time. This is perhaps the best rental in downtown Belfast. We have over 15 years experience serving the short term rental market in Belfast. This one is our most luxurious rental to date. Luxury abounds in this modern, spacious apartment newly built 10 years ago inside one of the oldest surviving timber frame buildings in downtown Belfast. This fantastic apartment is perfect for a family or for 3 couples as each bedroom has its own living room and there are three bathrooms, each more distinctive and luxurious than the next. For ultimate privacy, no bedroom shares a wall with another bedroom. The two upstairs bedrooms have king beds and the first floor bedroom has a queen bed . There is also a Queen sleeper in the upstairs den. The apartment is on the top two floors of the Ocean House, a recently renovated 1865 building in the heart of downtown Belfast. One enters the apartment into a large foyer with plenty of closet space. There is an open living room / dining area downstairs with a large balcony with four chairs and a dining table overlooking downtown Belfast . This is the perfect place to have your coffee and watch our city wake up! A sleek, modern kitchen with a distinctive breakfast bar has all the amenities you will need for cooking or entertaining. We provide a cupboard full of complimentary single serving snacks, both healthy and decadent! There is also usually some pasta and sauce or soup if you arrive late and hungry and ground coffee and tea always always provided. The first floor bedroom faces the harbor and windows have lovely views of the inner harbor. There is a nice balcony off this bedroom for sitting and watching the sun come up or for watching the fireworks during the Celtic Festival. The first floor also has a large and unique slate tiled bathroom just off the hallway, next to the bedroom. This bathroom has copper fixtures and a beautifully tiled, glass door, shower. Upstairs is a large den with pull out Queen sofa bed, and a view to the inner harbor bridge that can't be beat!
There is a small black and white tiled bathroom with glass door shower and views all the way to Castine, right off the den. The tower bedroom has views to the East, down Penobscot Bay to Islesboro and beyond. This is the best bedroom for watching the sun rise from your bed. The master suite is next. The most luxurious part of the Ocean House, the master suite has views of the inner harbor and the Armistice Bridge as well as a great view of Main Street and the setting sun to the west. The light-filled suite has King bed with 750 thread count cotton sheets (as do all the beds) and a sitting area with down couch and lounge chairs. Two large lighted closets complete the room. There is a washer /dryer on the second floor and 3 TVs, 3 with 175 channels of DirectTV, and one Smart TV in the master. The apartment has 18 windows and two full light doors out to decks facing East and West for the best in Sunrise and Sunset viewing. The entire apartment is air conditioned and has heat through several heat pump units. Each bedroom controls its own climate.
The apartment is decorated in a comfortable, modern, decor peppered with a smattering of antiques. Seth has collected furniture and antiques throughout his career as a museum curator and private art dealer. The loft is full of pieces from this art collection.
The apartment is right in downtown Belfast and dining choices abound. Within just several blocks of the apartment are at least 13 restaurants, Shopping is just steps away and one of the best cottage / garden retail store is located in the building, on the floor below the apartment. We are also a block from the" Hills to Sea" trail system, a 47 mile long stretch of trails that run from Belfast to Unity Maine for biking, hiking, walking or running. There is ample parking in our own lot for the loft, with one reserved space in the lot for guests. There is also a growing garden landscape on the property. This is a work in progress and will take me a few more years to complete, but beauty abounds from the roses and climbing hydrangea along the fenceline..to the over 100 Dahlia plants blooming in September and October.

This adorable Studio is in the heart of downtown Belfast, walk to all the shops and restaurants! Tiny has a queen bed with a cozy gas stove, a full kitchen, and three-quarter bath. Nicely appointed and fully- furnished, soup to nuts. Enjoy what Belfast has to offer!
Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 11:00. This unit is on the second floor and there is no elevator.

Sunny, warm studio apartment near downtown. This second-floor space has an open layout with kitchenette, bathroom, dining table, queen-size bed and lounging area. A full-size futon couch accommodates extra friends or kids. Plenty of appliances for cooking. Movies, books and streaming TV services for rainy days or evenings in. Our homey, comfortable apartment overlooks a lush perennial garden in a quiet residential neighborhood. Walk to Main Street or the waterfront in less than 10 minutes.
This space has a private entrance. There's wi-fi and live TV channels via YouTubeTV, plus plenty of additional streaming apps for guests to log into. Kitchen is equipped with small refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster. Control the temperature with a heat pump that provides warmth in the winter and A/C in the summer.
You're welcome to enjoy the backyard and garden area as well. Upon arrival you'll likely be welcomed by our small, friendly dog Buffy who lives next door with us.

Stay in our cozy, convenient two-bedroom, two-floor apartment in walking distance to downtown. Beautiful raw wood walls and ceiling, finished wood floors, and all-new appliances and fixtures create a contemporary industrial interior design. A spiral staircase leads to two small bedrooms — one queen and one full — as well as a bathroom with full-body shower system. Two heat pumps with A/C keep you comfortable in any weather. The space is ideal for two to four people, but a full-size futon in the living room provides space for extra guests.
The downstairs is an open living room and kitchen space with a futon couch, chair, and dining table. The 44-inch TV has Hulu Live and additional apps for guests to log into. The upstairs has two small bedrooms and a full bathroom. The apartment is attached to a larger home occupied by long-term tenants. It has a private entrance and room for one car in the driveway. (Street parking is available for additional vehicles.)

Chez Seeger, first floor Belfast apartment is open and roomy, great for family get-togethers or couples traveling together. Perfectly located, just a short walk to the shore, Belfast City Park, or Main Street, filled with lovely shops, wonderful restaurants and galleries. Spend time in Belfast Harbor watching lobster boats, vintage schooners and cruise ships. It's just a short walk to the Saturday Farmers Market for fresh local goodies. Belfast is also a great home-base for day trips to Acadia.
The living room is open to the large, country kitchen with cathedral ceiling and skylights. Great space for family get-togethers or couples traveling together. Enjoy watching movies on the 55" 4K TV or unplug and go "old-school" with board games, fun for every age. Two bedrooms offer cheerful linens and comfy beds, another pass-through room, with twin-size day bed, could be used as a sleeping space or sitting room for the master bedroom. Large bathroom with plush, cotton towels, includes a washer and dryer. The backyard has peach trees, and a raised bed veggie garden. Take a walk to the shore, beach towels and sand toys are provided.

About this space
Welcome to Harbor View Cottage in downtown Belfast! This newly built duplex was thoughtfully designed with a modern, quaint, seaside cottage feel. Designed to optimize the views from the living room, primary bedroom, and porch! The sunrises here are truly spectacular, and there is no better place to watch the fireworks display during the Celtic Festival! This location is the perfect spot to explore the heart of Belfast, being just a short walk to the restaurants, shops, and Harbor-Walk.
The space
The driveway for Harbor View Cottage is located on the right side of the duplex. The main entrance is around to the front of the unit and can be accessed with a smart lock on the front door. Once inside guests are greeted by an open concept living room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything guests need to create meals during their stay.
There are two bedrooms in the cottage - the first is located off of the living room and the second is located in the back. The back bedroom also contains the washer and dryer which is tucked in a closet. There is also a full bathroom centrally located in the middle of the unit.
Harbor View Cottage is perfect for those looking for one level living. There are no stairs on the property or inside the space!
Please note: this is one side of a duplex and only one wall is shared. The shared wall is 12 inches thick and well insulated, therefore sound will not be an issue. Additionally, the outside space is separated with a divider for ultimate privacy. The duplex is great for families that want to be near each other but also want their own space. Please look for Harbor View Cottage Unit B to rent the other side!

Welcome to Mariner's Loft, located in the heart of charming downtown Belfast! This second floor apartment has a rustic, lofted vibe, and is situated directly above one of the areas best specialty wine and cheese shops. The entrance to the apartment is located right on the "main drag", so you are steps from amazing retail, delicious restaurants and picturesque Penobscot Bay. The Loft is perfect in all seasons and ready for you to come enjoy all that downtown Belfast has to offer!
Mariner's Loft is located right in downtown Main St, between two store fronts. Once inside, you will need to walk up one set of stairs to access the first and second floor of the apartment.
The main level of the apartment contains an open concept kitchen, dining and living room space. The first bedroom, with a full-sized bed, laundry and full bathroom is also located on this level. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to create a delicious meal. The living room is also situated so you can enjoy a program on the television or peer out the windows and enjoy the activity downtown!
The top level of the apartment contains a large lofted bedroom, complete with a king-sized bed, full bathroom, sitting area and heat pump. The loft also contains a desk - the WiFi is extremely reliable and provides a calm backdrop for work!
The heat is controlled by a Rinnai heater and two heat pumps, one on each level. The heat pumps provide both heat and AC and are controlled by the white remotes!
Mariner's Loft is located on the second and third floor, therefore guests will need to walk up one set of stairs to access the apartment. Once inside, guests have access to the entire apartment.
I live very close by, but you will not see me unless you need me!
Located directly downtown on Main St in Belfast. There is public parking right across the street and when you walk outside you are right in the mix of everything! Just steps from shopping, restaurants and the bay!
You will need a vehicle to get to Mariner's Loft, but there is no dedicated parking space. There is plenty of public parking across the street and there are usually street parking spots as well.
There is no dedicated parking, but there is free on-street parking (hourly restrictions) and free public parking right behind Tracy's Diner across the street.
The apartment is located on the second and third floor of the building, so you must climb stairs to access the apartment.

- "It's a really nice place, lots of room, and it was nice having kitchen utensils and TVs in the house, and close to town." - "The apartment was very spacious, a very nice feel. Nice lighting. The mattress on the bed is a bit hard and i really should of brought my own pillows. Other than than that, a lovely stay." - "We called this place "the dump." It was dirty, dank, and noisy. Here are the low lights: The first coffee cup I picked up had not been washed. The oven was filthy, greasy, and the baking sheet in the oven had crumbs on it. Floor fan was covered with dust and lint. In the bathroom, I picked up a hand towel that smelled like urine. Granted the heat wave and high humidity made the situation bad, but the shabby furniture covered with blankets made it worse. The house sits 35 feet from a main road in Belfast, and the necessarily open windows brought incessant traffic noise right into the living room. And the bedroom. Starting at 5am. The lack of amenities was sad. No salt and pepper shakers or dish towels in the kitchen. (Wash clothes do not count.) No kitchen garbage bags or baggies. One ice tray in the freezer. Two very thin and thread bare bath towels. The plastic flowers in Goodwill vases and stapled to every wall in the house are not "charming." On a positive note, the bathroom was fine and the washer dryer was great. We started by washing the "smelly" hand towel. We did contact the manager to ask about a humidifier --anything to help the air conditioner in the bedroom. He did nothing. We left three days early on a two week stay."

Welcome to the Ballroom by the Bay, located in Phoenix Row, in the heart of downtown Belfast! This newly offered apartment overlooks the bay, but is easily accessible right off of the sidewalk. Most uniquely, this space has a large ballroom that has been converted into a game/lounging room and bar! With newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen, guests can enjoy modern amenities with classic Maine charm. Come and enjoy this comfortable space and prepare to enjoy all the MidCoast has to offer!
Ballroom by the Bay is located on the second and third floors of the 200 year old Phoenix Row; a historic building nestled right in the heart of downtown Belfast. The unique qualities of this apartment are hard to capture in photos and must be seen in person! Please read the full description or feel free to ask any questions.
The apartment is accessed via a street level door and up one flight of stairs. Upon entering you will be greeted by a large entryway that leads to the two main floor bedrooms and bathroom. As you walk down the hallway, the first bedroom you encounter has a queen sized bed as well as a twin bed. This room is great for kids and is right next to the bathroom. The bathroom is unique as it has a "water closet" which contains the toilet, but allows for others to use the sink and tub. This is the only bathroom with a tub. Beyond this area you'll find the largest bedroom with king sized bed, comfortable sitting area with a large couch and gorgeous views of the bay. This bedroom also contains an en suite bathroom that is newly renovated - be one of the first to use the shower!
On the second level there is a gorgeous landing area with beautiful transom windows and a focus on the charming aspects of the apartment. Straight ahead is the open concept dining and living room which also opens to the kitchen. The large windows in this area allow for enjoying coffee and watching the boats sail by. All of the appliances have been updated and the fully stocked kitchen boasts a 6 burner, gas stove top. The desk and private workspace is tucked right off of the kitchen and overlooks the bay. The third bedroom can be found right off of the dining room area. This bedroom contains a queen sized bed, views of the bay and custom built in shelving that is original to the building. Also on this floor you'll find the third full bathroom with a stacked washer and dryer for your use!
The pièce de résistance is a spacious, expansive ballroom that overlooks the sidewalk and downtown Belfast. With high ceilings, pool table and a gorgeous bar, this space is truly the game room of your dreams. There is plenty of seating in this room, tables for games, areas to sit and have a coffee (or wine) and plenty of space for general merriment. There is nothing like this in all of Belfast!
Parking is available on the street (please note the parking restrictions) or there is a public parking lot directly behind Traci's Diner/Rollie's. In the winter please be mindful of parking bans due to snow (we will also inform you of this).

Upon arrival at "Eleanor's Cove", you will immediately see the yellow door. The main entrance is actually down the driveway, under the porch. The main entrance, complete with a smart lock, allows you the freedom to arrive and depart on your own timetable. Inside, a cozy entryway leads you to the open concept kitchen, dining room and living room. Access to the patio is also available through the sliding glass doors in the living room.
Beyond this, the newly renovated bathroom with laundry and two bedrooms await. These comfortable bedrooms are bit tight, but provide all you'll need to get a restful night sleep!

About this space
Welcome to Harbor View Cottage in downtown Belfast! This newly built duplex was thoughtfully designed with a modern, quaint, seaside cottage feel. Designed to optimize the views from the living room, primary bedroom, and porch! The sunrises here are truly spectacular, and there is no better place to watch the fireworks display during the Celtic Festival! This location is the perfect spot to explore the heart of Belfast, being just a short walk to the restaurants, shops, and Harbor-Walk.
The space
The driveway for Harbor View Cottage is located on the left side of the duplex. The main entrance is around to the front of the unit and can be accessed with a smart lock on the front door. Once inside guests are greeted by an open concept living room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything guests need to create meals during their stay.
There are two bedrooms in the cottage - the first is located off of the living room and the second is located in the back. The back bedroom also contains the washer and dryer which is tucked in a closet. There is also a full bathroom centrally located in the middle of the unit.
Harbor View Cottage is perfect for those looking for one level living. There are no stairs on the property or inside the space!
Please note: this is one side of a duplex and only one wall is shared. The shared wall is 12 inches thick and well insulated, therefore sound will not be an issue. Additionally, the outside space is separated with a divider for ultimate privacy. The duplex is great for families that want to be near each other but also want their own space. This light and breezy top floor apartment is bright and open, with lovely garden views from the deck. Recently constructed, it is a cozy and comfortable space in a fabulous location. This is an open studio above our barn, separate from our main house. It's best suited for one or two people, but the futon offers extra space for kids if necessary. Kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, oven and range, microwave, coffeemaker, teapot and toaster. We provide plenty of extras to making cooking convenient. Enjoy live TV channels with YouTubeTV, or log into other streaming apps with your own accounts. You control the temperature with A/C and heat using a heat pump. The apartment is professionally cleaned between visits and the furnishings are well maintained.

You're welcome to enjoy the beautiful backyard and garden area as well. Please note that we have small, older pooch named Buffy who often roams the yard.

Welcome to the Seaside Loft, newly renovated located just steps from Penobscot Bay. This studio style space is perfect for one or two people looking to escape everyday life. The bay is located less than 100 feet from the Loft with private beach access. Centrally located, this space is perfect for those looking to get away! Us the Loft as a jump off spot to easily visit surrounding towns like Camden, Rockland and Acadia National Park!
The space
The loft is located on the same property as the main house which is occupied by the owners, as well as a second Airbnb in the cottage. The Loft is private and perched overlooking the gardens and the bay. To enter the loft, follow the stone path on the right of the garage to access the stairs.
Once inside, the space is open concept with a queen sized bed, dining room table and functional kitchen. The well lit bathroom is in the back of the space beyond the bed.

Guests have access to the entire Studio space and can access the studio by following the path on the right side of the garage. Guests also have access to the stairs by the beach.

Nestled just above the glistening waters of Penobscot Bay, our house offers breathtaking views that will leave you spellbound. At night, you'll catch sight of the iconic turtle head on Isleboro and the twinkling lights of Castine. As the sun rises, the deck becomes a front-row seat to witness the mast-adorned boats gently swaying on the moorings, while the renowned Belfast Tugs make their way to waiting ships in Searsport.
Inside the house, you'll find all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Start your mornings with a cup of coffee on the high deck, the perfect vantage point to soak in the beauty of the day unfolding. Below the deck, a tranquil vernal pond awaits, adorned with charming frogs, cattails, lily pads, wildflowers, and blooming lilacs. You'll also discover a large garden of raised beds, adding a touch of nature's beauty to your surroundings.
The third floor boasts a cozy bedroom, offering unobstructed views of the bay. On the second floor, a master bedroom awaits near the bath, while the kitchen leads you to a spacious living area with a faux fireplace (which doubles as a built-in wood stove for those chilly mornings). The entrance to the apartment is located right on the "main drag", so you are steps from amazing retail, delicious restaurants and picturesque Penobscot Bay. The space
Mariner's Loft is located right in downtown Main St, between two store fronts. Once inside, you will need to walk up one set of stairs to access the first and second floor of the apartment.
The main level of the apartment contains an open concept kitchen, dining and living room space. The first bedroom, with a full-sized bed, laundry and full bathroom is also located on this level. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to create a delicious meal. The living room is also situated so you can enjoy a program on the television or peer out the windows and enjoy the activity downtown!
The top level of the apartment contains a large lofted bedroom, complete with a king-sized bed, full bathroom, sitting area and heat pump. The loft also contains a desk - the WiFi is extremely reliable and provides a calm backdrop for work!
The heat is controlled by a Rinnai heater and two heat pumps, one on each level. The heat pumps provide both heat and AC and are controlled by the white remotes!

Mariner's Loft is located on the second and third floor, therefore guests will need to walk up one set of stairs to access the apartment. Once inside, guests have access to the entire apartment.

There is no dedicated parking, but there is free on-street parking (hourly restrictions) and free public parking right behind Tracy's Diner across the street.

This oceanside apartment gets spectacular morning sunlight and sea breezes! Less than a two-block walk to a beach and five-minute walk to downtown, this charming rental accommodates six people. Both bathrooms on 2nd floor.
The space
This apartment is nestled in a quiet and safe seaside neighborhood and includes the 2nd and 3rd floors of a beautiful historic house. Guests have a private entrance and staircase. On the first floor there is a year- round tenant with a separate entrance. Guests have two off-street parking spots directly outside the front door!
One bedroom is on 2nd floor and the other bedroom is on the 3rd floor with an additional sitting area with futon option. The foldout couch located on the 2nd floor in the primary living room can be converted into an additional sleeping space. Both bathrooms are on the second floor. Due to the deck being on the third floor we require that children on the deck be accompanied by an adult at all times and the deck door be locked when not in use. The apartment is fully equipped with sheets, towels, a full kitchen, and washer/dryer.

A spacious multi-level home located in downtown Belfast. Move right into this comfortable and private 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. Located above a family owned candy shop and a short walk to a variety of restaurants and retail shops. Bay Views offers expansive views and easy access to the Harbor, local parks, footbridge, rail trail, downtown Belfast, and many other midcoast Maine destinations.
The space
There is a dedicated parking spot just outside the back entrance. Up one flight of stairs takes you to the downstairs bathroom and bedroom with a queen size bed and full size sleeper sofa, up another flight takes you into the main living space.
Once up to the main level living space you enter into the great room, with an open floor plan kitchen, dining, and living room. On this main level you will also find the upstairs bathroom with washer and dryer and bedroom with a king size bed. The great room living space opens up to a full window wall and looks out to a large patio.
On the patio is a grill and communal table with chairs, and view looking out to the Belfast footbridge over the bay. From the main level you can access a spiral staircase leading you up to a cozy enclosed rooftop sunroom with seating and views of the harbor.
The kitchen is ready for you to create something delicious- but no feelings are hurt if you decide to explore some of the walking distance dining options instead. Sprawl out in the living room with our puzzles, games, and books or watch the large screen tv ready for online streaming. You only need to turn your head to keep an eye on all the bustle down at the harbor and out on Main St. Squirrel yourself away in one of the two private bedrooms and enjoy your own wing of the apartment! Stay a while and get used to the ease of living steps from anything you want- you might not even need to use your car!

There are two stairway entrances, one at the front of the building leading to the second level living area great room, upstairs bedroom, and bathroom. A second and the best entrance at the back of the building leads up into the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. A set of stairs in the great room connect the upstairs and downstairs living spaces. A spiral staircase leads up to the roof level sunroom.

This is perhaps the best rental in downtown Belfast. We have over 12 years experience serving the short-term rental market in Belfast and this one is our most luxurious rental to date, so we concentrate on you and your rental wants. Luxury abounds in this modern, spacious apartment built inside one of the oldest surviving timber frame buildings in downtown Belfast. This fantastic apartment is perfect for a family or 3 couples as each bedroom has its own living room and there are three bathrooms, each more distinctive and luxurious than the next. For ultimate privacy, no bedroom shares a wall with another bedroom. The two upstairs bedrooms have king beds and the first floor bedroom has a queen bed . There is also a Queen sleeper in the upstairs den. The apartment is on the top two floors of the Ocean House, a renovated 1865 building in the heart of downtown Belfast. One enters the apartment into a large foyer with plenty of closet space. There is an open living room / dining area downstairs with a large balcony with four chairs and a dining table overlooking downtown Belfast . This is the perfect place to have your coffee and watch our city wake up! A sleek, modern kitchen with a distinctive breakfast bar has all the amenities you will need for cooking or entertaining. We provide a cupboard full of complimentary single serving snacks, both healthy and decadent! There is also usually some pasta and sauce or soup if you arrive late and hungry. The first floor bedroom faces the harbor and both windows have lovely views of the inner harbor. There is a nice balcony off this bedroom for sitting and watching the sun come up or for watching the fireworks during the Celtic Festival. The first floor also has a large and unique slate tiled bathroom just off the hallway, next to the bedroom. This bathroom has copper fixtures and a beautifully tiled, glass door, shower. Upstairs is a large den with pull out Queen sofa bed, and a view to the inner harbor bridge that can't be beat!
There is a small black and white tiled bathroom with glass door shower and views all the way to Castine, right off the den. The tower bedroom has views to the East, down Penobscot Bay to Islesboro and beyond. This is the best bedroom for watching the sun rise from your bed. The master suite is next. The most luxurious part of the Ocean House, the master suite has views of the inner harbor and the Armistice Bridge as well as a great view of Main Street and the setting sun to the west. The light-filled suite has King bed with 750 thread count cotton sheets (as do all the beds) and a sitting area with down couch and lounge chairs. Two large lighted closets complete the room. There is a washer /dryer on the second floor and 3 TVs, all with 175 channels of DirectTV. The apartment has 18 windows and two full light doors out to decks facing East and West for the best in Sunrise and Sunset viewing. The entire apartment is air conditioned and has heat through several heat pump units. Each bedroom controls its own climate.
The apartment is decorated in a comfortable, modern, decor peppered with a smattering of antiques. Seth has collected furniture and antiques throughout his career as a museum curator and private art dealer. The loft is full of pieces from this art collection.
The apartment is right in downtown Belfast and dining choices abound. Within just several blocks of the apartment are at least 13 restaurants, including "Must Be Nice Lobster Co." two floors below the apartment. Shopping is just steps away and one of the best cottage / garden retail stores, "Brambles" is located in the building, on the floor below the apartment. We are also a block from the newly opened" Hills to Sea" trail system, a 47 mile long stretch of trails that run from Belfast to Unity Maine for biking, hiking, walking or running. There is ample parking in our own lot for the loft, with one reserved space in the lot for guests. There is also a growing garden landscape on the property. This is a work in progress and will take me a few more years to complete, but beauty abounds from the purple magnolia tree at the entrance to the apartment to the roses and climbing hydrangea along the fence line.. Fall will welcome over 70 dahlia plants and their blooms.

You may order movies over Direct TV for an additional charge....just let us know how many movies you watched. There is a video library, reading books, cookbooks, and games, cards, etc. in the bookcase on the first floor.
