This apartment has 10-foot high vaulted ceilings with skylights throughout that fill the place with afternoon sun.
The living room area features an open floor plan which includes a full kitchen, living room, and dining nook. (See photos for more details of the layout.)
The spacious bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a full-sized dresser, and a desk and chair for working remotely.
In the living room area, the loveseat sofa folds out flat to a small single bed. There is a memory foam mattress topper available to go on top for added comfort.
(If you would like to use the single sofa bed just let us know in advance, and we will leave out linens etc. for you.)

Beautiful renovated South Portland 1 bed, 1 bath apartment in the Meeting House Hill neighborhood. This unit has incredible original stained glass windows in both the living room and kitchen. All the spaces in the photos are private, and therefore not shared with other guests. We have our own private apartment on the first floor w/ a separate entrance.
Other things to note
We have pets! Bailey will probably introduce himself with a quick bark or two from my apartment when you first arrive; and Orbit and Mittens (black and white cats) may be seen sunning themselves or chasing butterflies in the front yard. Mittens may ask to come inside with you, but do not fall for his charm - he is not allowed in the unit.

I invite you to share my beautiful, pet-free home with me on a month-to-month basis. It is a tidy, spacious 2nd floor apt with lots of sunlight & good vibes. The home is well-maintained, decorated with handmade craft & original art & has all the necessary amenities for comfort. I live on a quiet, dead end street that abuts the Greenbelt Walkway & Fore River. The neighborhood is friendly, safe & centrally located to Portland, walking trails, beaches, parks, hospitals & more.

The space
Important: This is a month-to-month rental. No short term rentals allowed, limited to one guest and no pets.

We would be sharing a 1,000 square foot 2BR apartment on the second floor of a two-unit building (I am the owner of the building). This is a pet-free building and ideal for anyone who suffers from allergies and/or enjoys a quiet space to decompress.

I have a front entry with large coat closet, plenty of room for shoes and jackets. You will have access to the entire apartment except my own bedroom. The living room is sunny and comfortable and the dining room seats 6. The kitchen has all the modern amenities and is fully stocked for anyone who loves to cook. You will have access to dedicated cabinet, fridge and counter space for your personal items.

Additional perks: I will provide bed linens, towels, high speed internet, fresh cut flowers (when in season) and most importantly, a peaceful sanctuary to call home during your stay in the Portland area.

Home Access: There are two entries into the home and both are keyless. You are welcome to use either entry. The back door to the apartment enters into the kitchen and is closest to your bedroom. There is a small area in the back hall that you can use to store jackets and shoes. The main house entrance is off the front porch and also has plenty of room for jackets and shoes.

Laundry: There are two sets of washing machine and dryers in the basement that are available to both apartments and two dedicated areas for air drying. You will need to provide your own laundry detergent.

Parking: There is parking on the street and in the driveway. In the winter months (December 1 - April 1) all South Portland residents are required to park off the street.

Location: The house is located on a quiet dead end street abutting the Greenbelt Walkway that can be used to walk or bicycle to various points in South Portland and Portland. It is an incredibly quiet and safe neighborhood with very little noise pollution.

A little about me: I am newly single after ending a 20 year marriage. I have owned this home since 2004 and worked hard to create a beautiful sanctuary of space, both indoors and outdoors. I am a self-employed artist who loves to cook, read, dance, travel and enjoy the outdoors.

We have pets! Bailey will probably introduce himself with a quick bark or two from my apartment when you first arrive; and Orbit and Mittens (black and white cats) may be seen sunning themselves or chasing butterflies in the front yard. Mittens may ask to come inside with you, but do not fall for his charm - he is not allowed in the unit.

A beautiful, private studio with kitchenette and luxury bathroom in the heart of So. Portland. Although not on Portland peninsula, the Old Port is just an 7 min drive away. The apartment is five minutes to Willard Beach and 15 minutes to Scarborough beaches.
Also in the building is the Second Rodeo Cafe, which serves coffee, breakfast and lunch. Enjoy our new seasonal back patio. The coffee shop is closed Wed.

The space
Your space is a private room with kitchenette, private entrance and en suite bathroom. It has an efficient heat pump for heating and cooling, a microwave oven, small fridge, and coffee maker in a food prep area. We are picky about comfort and cleanliness, and want to know if anything makes your stay less than perfect.

The studio space also comes with a small table which can be used for dining, a desk, and a small living room area with a table and leather lounge chairs.

In the summer, there is a private patio space for guests and building tenants.

In the living room area, the loveseat sofa folds out flat to a small single bed. There is a memory foam mattress topper available to go on top for added comfort.

This is a large third floor studio with an open concept design. There is an eat in kitchen with gas stove and granite counters, tv area and sleeping alcove with a queen memory foam mattress. There is plenty of room for a single or a couple to relax in whatever the season. The bathroom has a claw foot tub with shower attachment.
Efficient natural gas heat for cooler temps and A/C keeps you cool in the summer. The stairs are a little narrow, and steeep, keep that in mind when you pack your suitcases. : D. They may not be appropriate if you have mobility issues.

You have the entire third floor apartment. It is an open concept space. Kitchen has gas stove and granite counters , table and chairs for dining, or workspace.
Bed is a queen with memory foam mattress. Apartment has a private rooftop deck. During the winter we do require access to clear snow. It's a lovely spot to sit on a clear winter day.

Ideal for a single traveler or a couple. Not appropriate for children. Parking off-street . From May to December additional parking is allowed on the street. During winter we will require access to remove snow from the deck in the event of a snowstorm. No Smoking or vaping . This is on the third floor and may not be appropriate if you have mobility issues. We also have a ful house generator that will guarantee you will never be without power, no matter what the weather brings. Fast wi-fi for remote work or study.

Accommodating up to 2 couples or a family, our 2-bedroom apartment is waiting for your Portland experience. Located less than 10 minutes drive to Portland, 10 minutes walk to Willard Beach and 15 minutes walk over 10 unique delicious restaurants, coffee shops and grocers, why stay in Portland?

The space
Upon stepping into the apartment, you'll be greeted with a remodeled kitchen and bathroom with marble top counters and a slate floor and shower. The space is purposefully simple to let the space become your own during your stay.

The kingsize bed offers the space and luxury of a hotel but at a reasonable price and the memory foam queen could be slept in for days. Hosting up to four comfortably the space is suitable for couples, friends or families.

The kitchen is fully outfitted with all the you need to whip up gourmet meals, however everything is placed out of sight should you prefer to eat meals out.

With a private entrance leading right to your two car driveway, you have access anytime to the space during your stay.

This is a full time Airbnb rental, so don't expect to find any clutter in the closet or someone else's food in the fridge. Our space and linens are cleaned prior to every visit and we are just around the corner should you need anything!

Other things to note
The apartment is on the second floor, so guests will need to be able to climb two flights of stairs on the outside of the building. For young children or elderly this may be a consideration.

Additionally, as it is on the second floor, we have full time tenants downstairs and we ask you to respect their privacy and the noise level after 10:30 PM.

Our clean and comfortable 1,100 SF 2nd floor 2-bedroom apartment is located in the quiet SOUTH PORTLAND neighborhood known as Ferry Village. There is a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (Keurig with a starter variety of pods) and a table for 2. The bathroom has a shower stall. Access to the apartment is through the yard side entrance and up a short flight of stairs. We will provide access information before your arrival. Parking for 1 car in the driveway.

From my experience, the place you choose to stay can make or break the trip. So every detail is addressed for an optimal experience. The house is located right on the green trail which is also about 5 min Uber drive, or a 20-minute walk to downtown old port. Cozy twin size bed with a pullout couch to accommodate a party of four. This totally renovated unit is located in Cape Elizabeth on the S. Portland line. Please take note the physical location is Cape Elizabeth so as to not confuse anyone.
Great location - It is .5 miles to Willard Beach and .2 miles to Cliffhouse beach, a 5 min drive to Portland and within walking distance to many restaurants, scratch bakery, the cookie jar(across the street) and live theater. Also walk to The famous Fort Williams state park

This unit is the entire 3rd floor of the building. The ceilings frame the roofline so please refer to the photos to see that they are slanted in places. There is a heat pump located in the living room that supplies heat and a/c to the unit.

The space
Newly updated one bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood setting with lush gardens. The bedroom features a queen sized bed, convertable sofa, and smart TV. The apartment is attached to the house as part of the same building. However, there is no pass through between the two. The entire apartment is yours for the duration of your stay. We do live on the other side of the house and will say hi if we happen to meet in the garden. Our cat Ollie is known to patrol the property. You may see him chasing birds or sunning himself on the deck.

The apartment offers high speed WiFi and an off-street parking space available for guests. Additional on-street parking is available during the summer months. Guests are welcome to explore the garden, dine on the patio, and grill on the outdoor BBQ.
