Charming Chalets Await You in June Lake, CA

June Lake Chalet is a boutique hotel located in the quintessential June Lake Village. We're about 12 miles north of Mammoth Lakes and about 20 minutes from the eastern gate to Yosemite National Park. We're conveniently located between June Lake, and Gull Lake, and walking distance to shops, restaurants and the infamous June Lake Brewery. We're located about a mile to June Mountain and about 13 miles up Highway 395 from Mammoth Mountain. There are many things to see and do in the area. If you like hiking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding or just enjoy quiet time by the lake, then this is the place for you!

- "We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Chalet. Beds were extra comfortable. The rooms were clean, well equipped and efficient. Patricia was very helpful. A good value. Hope to stay here again." - "Let’s start with the positives first.The location was close to the lift and walking distance to the village and surrounded by beautiful lakes which was very nice. Now let’s move on to some things that could have been better. The room was fairly clean a few dirty dishes that may have been forgotten about and a dirty hand towel in the bathroom. Because of the cold weather and to preserve the heat, the windows are lined with a plastic piece which doesn’t allow for any kind of fresh air because you can’t open the windows. I think what bothered me the most was that the property was advertised as as a 1 bedroom 2 bath and that’s incorrect it’s only a 1 bedroom 1 bath. When you have 6 women traveling, bathrooms are important and I was disappointed that I was paying for amenities that I was not getting. I don’t normally write reviews but felt that a few things were important to point out. "

Walk to local restaurants and shops from this quaint home in the June Lake Village. This home hosts 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, and full kitchen. There is one queen bed, and 3 singles (one daybed with trundle and an additional single).
Situated in the June Lake Village, we are one block to June Lake and 3 short blocks to Gull Lake. Located in the hub of the Eastern Sierras, we are approximately 12 miles north of Mammoth Lakes, and 15 miles from the eastern gate of Yosemite National Park.
Please note that full kitchen includes cook top, but not oven.

- "The property is nice and matches the description. The two rooms are comfortable. The kitchen is small but works fine to prepare meals. One thing I was a little frustrated about is that we needed to buy wood to get the fireplace going and heat the house. The rooms had portable electric heaters, but the rest of the house didn't. I would assume it is the owner's responsibility to provide heat in a mountain home in the Winter. I had to spend about 10% of the rent cost on wood, which I think was a bit unfair. The boiler for hot water in the bathroom also failed in our last night, and we didn't have hot water in the only bathroom of the house, which was a bit annoying but I can't blame the owner, we were just unlucky. The manager allowed us to use the bathroom in a different unit so we could shower and offered a free night if we come back in the future. The inconvenience is that we needed to go out of the house in the cold to get to the shower. There was also incorrect information in the website about the checkout, indicated as 9:30pm. We got a message at 4pm that day (while we were still at June Mountain) saying checkout was actually at 10am and we had to rush out under the threat of being charged an extra-night!"

The 2,750' updated mountain Chalet has an amazing great room with the kitchen, dining and family room all with beautiful views of a waterfall, majestic mountain peaks and breathtaking mountain scenery.

The space
There are 3 bedrooms, master loft suite, game room with 4-beds and 3 full bathrooms. The huge open kitchen has a butcher-block center island that is perfect to entertain around. Professionally equipped and stocked gourmet kitchen with newer stainless Samsung & Bosch appliances and everything needed to cook for the entire family in the huge open great room.

There is a 10-foot French farmhouse dining table with comfortable leather seating for (10) and mesmerizing views anytime of year. Cook and entertain with everyone together in the great room with the warm inviting leather furniture, acacia wood floors, extra large wood stove and supplied firewood.

Binge watch your latest Netflix with the state of the art entertainment center featuring a 65" Sony 4k TV, Yamaha audio and Monitor audio speakers with 15" subwoofer. Six rooms have Direct TV with HBO, music channels, sports networks and 65" tv's in both the great room and the game room.

The Chalet has the fastest available (1GB) cable internet "wifi" service. The upstairs loft has a office area that is a great work station area.

The bedrooms are furnished with a rustic mountain theme and log décor. There are a total of (8) beds and (1) futon-bed between all the rooms. The (3) main floor bedrooms have queen beds and the master loft has a King and twin. The rustic and log beds are complimented with high quality mattresses including Temperpedic and Sealy Posterpedic.

All three bathrooms have been completely remodeled with Travertine showers, high-end rain shower fixtures, slate flooring and granite counters.

The 650' downstairs game room has a pool table, latest XBOX One X with games, table games, hickory wood floors, 65" Sony 4K TV, log bunk bed, twin bed and futon. It's the perfect place for the family and kids to play games together. It's private from upstairs are suitable for kids or a couple.

The Chalet is located 25 minutes from Mammoth Lakes and less than 2 miles from June Mountain Ski area. It's located in June Lake's best view neighborhood with one of the most private and quiet-picturesque locations available in the Eastern Sierra's. The home's great room has been photographed to be featured in several magazines for Fidelity Investments advertising agency. The World class Double Eagle Spa and resort is located in the neighborhood within walking distance. Four wheel drive or chains are needed in the winter months.
