Occupying an enviable position in the heart of Carvoeiro, this modernised yet traditional house is a hidden gem! Carvoeiro is an ideal location for families and couples, offering many wonderful restaurants, small shops and bars. This area has some of the most photographed beaches in the Algarve with Benegil caves and praia do Marinha being a five minute drive from the house.



The seven hanging valleys walking trail is easy to access and gives the opportunity to see some of the amazing coastline the area has to offer. There are several excellent golf courses within a five minute drive. For the children, Slide and Splash and Zoomarine are a fifteen minute drive. This house is located very centrally so a car is not necessary.

On entrance level there are three double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and a further family bathroom with walk in shower. Two have wonderful sea views from the windows. Stairs lead to the open plan living space comprising dining area, lounge and fully fitted modern kitchen. Large patio doors flood the area with light and open to a terrace running the length of the property. The views of the beach, town and sea are simply stunning.

Stairs lead to the expansive roof terrace with external dining area and BBQ with sun shade and a further seating area. The panoramic views from the terrace are breath-taking.

The property is extremely well furnished and modern but with traditional touches. The house is fully air conditioned and has heaters for the winter months.

- "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks in this clean and modern townhouse. The two story apartment with rooftop patio is just minutes away by foot from Carvoeiro beach and the centre of town. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first level (no lugging of suitcases required) are small by N. American standards and all beds were N. American double but very comfortable. As we had 3 bedrooms for 2 people we had our own bed and bathroom. The view from the main living area and rooftop patio is of the ocean and beach with lots of sunshine in the afternoon and beautiful sunsets. We were delighted with the lack of noise even though the townhouse is situated in the middle of town. The HVAC worked beautifully (we used the AC once on a particularly warm day and the heat a few mornings to take the chill off). The kitchen is well equipped, the showers in each bathroom (no tub) had lots of hot water and good pressure and we had ample towels. The mid stay clean was appreciated. The management company was very responsive when we failed to run the taps long enough to draw hot water! A minor complaint is the dim lighting in the bedrooms and bathrooms. And a warning to visitors not used to the narrow European roads: the lane leading to the apartment and the parking stall are extremely tight. We did not have a car but even our taxi driver wouldn’t come up the lane to the apartment. The main road to the apartment is quite steep, as our many of the streets. Better lighting on lower level."

Casa dos Pescadores is a superbly appointed and furnished bungalow, offering two air-conditioned bedrooms, one with a king-size double bed and one with twin beds, which share the use of a bathroom with a walk-in shower. In the village, you’ll be able to wander onto the main beach, passing nearby cafes and restaurants, from where you can get boat trips to explore the glorious coastline with its renowned caves and grottoes. If walking is more your thing, then pass through the village and up to the church, where you’ll find a scenic boardwalk along the cliff tops that will take you along to Algar Seco, where a drink to take in the views at the Boneca bar is a must.



Carvoeiro itself was originally a fishing village and still retains that small-scale charm. There are many restaurants here to choose from, with all tastes seemingly catered for. There are also many cafes and bars where you can sit and watch the world go by, either down by the beach or in the village itself. Often during the summer months, you’ll find live music or other entertainments being provided in the square by the beach. If you don’t then want to do the return walk to Quinta do Paraiso, there are always plenty of taxis readily available to give you a lift home.

- "We had a great stay in Sagres, which is a beautiful place. The location of the villa is great and it is very well appointed and set up. Beautiful rooms, private outside space as well as the pool area. Check in and booking process was managed really well and Maria was very helpful throughout. The only negative point we would mention is that you can hear your neighbours a lot especially when you/your kids are quiet in their bedrooms - drawers opening, doors shutting, people running up and down stairs - so perfectly “normal” levels of noise. We did have to ask our neighbours to turn down their music one night as they were having a party and they did so immediately. The acoustics did not detract from a lovely week away but it is something that I feel that I should mention. Overall a fabulous holiday, thank you."
