It has a 340 degree panoramic view from the back of the pledges over the Rhine Valley, the Alps, directly to the city of Bregenz with the harbor and the festival site, further over Switzerland and Lake Constance, the beautiful island of Lindau and the Allgäu. Here you can enjoy the sun from early in the morning to one of the most unforgettable sunsets over the mountains or over Lake Constance. It depends on the season of your stay. The house has beautifully situated terraces, a fireplace in the living room, a panoramic swimming pool 8 x 4 m and a spacious sauna. The surplus will be provided to the regular green electricity network. For those who want to stay up-to-date even on vacation: A TV and free WiFi Internet are also available to our visitors. The Romantics can now relax, hike or do sports: Vorarlberg offers a variety of entertainment options - and you are in the thick of it. In winter, the ski areas Bödele, Schetteregg, Didamskopf, Mellau / Damüls, Balderschwang and Warth / Schröcken beckon. In summer you can explore the area on foot or by car. For the adventurer lure paragliding and hang-gliding possibilities. Also the golf courses Bregenzerwald and Montfort Rankweil are only a few minutes by car from the Chalet Margarete. Lake Constance and the lake metropolis Bregenz with the Seebühne and the Kunsthaus always attract art and culture fans to the country. Cheer on the wood stove and conjure up a cuddly atmosphere.
The next place for shopping and first points of contact with the Vorarlbergers is Egg. There and in the vicinity there are restaurants where you can be pampered by the Cuisine Autrichienne.

Directions:
The exact route to Egg can be found in the enclosed map. In Egg you drive towards Schwarzenberg / Bödele, but only until you come to a small electricity house about 200 m after the bridge over the Bregenzer Ach. There you turn right and follow the mountain up the sign of the inn Alpenrose. You drive to the Alpenrose, pick up your key there and continue on the private road until the first (and only) branch on the left side. Take this and drive to the very back to the edge of the forest. There you will see your holiday home, which you can easily recognize from the photos. Parking is right in front of the house.

Snow chains are recommended in winter.

A lovely modern, but cosy chalet awaited us, with stunning views of the valley and mountains. Everything we could have wanted was provided to for us in the Chalet including a fire, built and ready to be lit. The chalet itself is split with the bedrooms at the top, alongside an amazing double bathroom complete with wet room shower. On the bottom half is an open plan kitchen with dining room and to the side a snug TV room complete with a fantastic wall of books. The decking area is amazing and wraps around the property with one bedroom also having a terrace of it's own. We throughly enjoyed our short weekend here, and would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away during the summer or winter."

The detached chalet is a wonderful place to celebrate a sporty and sunny holiday. The chalet was newly built in 2019 and fully equipped: a spacious seating area with corner sofa, large dining table, very complete and fully equipped kitchen with a cozy cooking island for drinks! The living room, which overlooks the Sonnenkopf, has a large and lovely terrace where you can enjoy the sun all day. When the sun has gone down, the cozy living room offers enough places in the seating area to read a book or to Netflix on the couch. Downstairs are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the possibility to go through the garden door to the garden with terrace. The rooms are all very tastefully finished, 2 rooms have box-spring beds and 1 bedroom has a beautiful and spacious bunk bed. For the children there is of course a TV and a Playstation in the room with the bunk bed. There is a charging station for an electric car.
The Sonnenkopf ski area, just 800 meters from the house, offers plenty of sporting fun in summer and winter. - "Let´s start with positive things. Apartment is spacey and nice. It is placed on first floor, so it is not very sunny, what is very good thing during hot summer days. The view from balcony is amazing. Apartment house is situated in pretty calm place, even it is not far from the main road. But we are really not satisfied with the cleanness of this place. First thing I had to do when we arrived was to clean up the furniture in this apartment from dust, including the radiators in both bathrooms (I also had to clean the inside of the dresser so we could put our clothes in there). Some pillows from balcony´s furniture are missing buttons and one of them thorn on side. Around the couch there were forgotten pieces of children´s kit. I found hairs in my bed. It is obvious that cleaning lady did only the necessary actions, but she really did not care if everything is OK. (I´m working at cleaning company, controlling the work of our cleaning ladies. The state in which our apartment was upon arrival is something that I would not accept as a job well done by our cleaning ladies.)"

- "Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön und mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Alles ist sauber und in hochwertigem Zustand. Die Einrichtung ist ausreichend für 6-8 Personen. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben und betreut gefühlt. Auch der Brötchenservice hat immer perfekt funktioniert und die Brötchen sind wirklich köstlich. Insgesamt hatten wir nach einer sehr stressigen Zeit zuhause eine wirklich wunderbare Auszeit in geschmackvollem Ambiente und kamen gut erholt nachhause zurück. Putzeimer mit Lappen, damit auch zwischendurch weggewischt werden kann. (vielleicht fehlte es auch nur bei uns, in der Auflistung der Einrichtungsgegenstände war er vorgesehen). Unterlage auf die der Hundenapf gestellt werden kann (z.B. Plastikunterlage für Schuhe). Leider schlabbern die Vierbeiner gerne. Der Holzboden ist zu schade und am Kamin gibt es Flecken. - aber das ist wirklich Anregung auf Luxusniveau! Es war alles super!"

Our holiday home is located at 1000 m above sea level at the foot of the Wintertstaude ( 1877 m ) in the ski and hiking area Egg-Schetteregg.
The 2-story wooden house has:

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
The cozy wooden house is equipped with a pellet stove and a Swedish stove. It is located at about 950 m above sea level and offers many opportunities to explore the mountains directly.

The space
On the first floor is our living room with kitchen, dining area, couch and TV with Wi-Fi, radio, Swedish stove, toilet, double room 180 x 200. Second floor: 1 double bedroom and 1 triple bedroom.

Other things to note
The basement with two bathrooms (in one is the dishwasher, for frost protection). The bathrooms are completely modernized with underfloor heating.

The apartment is comfortable, spacious and modernly furnished. Quiet and sunny slope. 2 balconies, Garage with direct access to the house, laundry room, SATELLITE TV and many loving details. The location is perfect in both summer and winter. In summer you can start directly from the house by bike or on foot. In winter, you can reach the Sonnenkopf in 5 minutes by car and the Arlberg ski arena, the largest ski area in Austria with the well-known towns of Lech, St. Anton and St. Christoph, in 10 minutes.

The space
Our house has 4 cozy and modern bedrooms. Two have double beds and two have bunk beds, which are also suitable for adults. Two of the three bedrooms have direct access to the upper balcony. The living and dining area is the heart of the apartment and has a cozy sofa area with a coffee table, satellite TV, an extendable dining table and direct access to the lower balcony.

The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of storage space, a coffee machine, a Nespresso machine with milk frother, a toaster, a kettle, a dishwasher, a touchscreen stove with hood, an oven and a steamer.

The spacious upstairs bathroom has a bathtub, separate shower, two sinks and a toilet. On the ground floor there is also a guest toilet with sink. In the basement there is a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and sink as well as a room with a ski boot dryer. A sound system is installed throughout the house.

Guest access
There is a key safe next to the front door. There, the key is left for you. The code is available in advance by email or SMS.

Before you arrive, you'll need to register with the municipality. Don't worry, I'll send you a link to the online registration in time.

For each person 14 years and older, there is a tourist tax of €2.80 per night. You have to pay the tourist tax separately, but I will also send you a payment notice in good time.

Our detached chalet invites you to forget everyday life, enjoy the peace and quiet and breathe in. For active vacationers, beautiful hikes invite you to explore the surroundings on marked hiking trails. Very suitable for families with children.

Choose between a day skiing on the beautiful ski slopes close to our home, or go for a walk in the breathtaking forests. You might also want to visit the famous village Lech, where the Dutch royal family resides in wintertime.

If you're looking for the perfect holiday home to surround yourself with friends or family, this is your place to be! Spend quality time in the big dining room, or find some privacy in one of four different bedrooms.

The space
Our holiday home is one of the few places in the province of Vorarlberg where up to ten people (!) can stay and still have their own private rooms. The bedroom downstairs even has its own bathroom! Try to claim it before grandpa does ;)

Guest access
The house is yours! There is only one room you may not enter, and this is where we store our cleaning products. We want your children to stay safe, too.

Other things to note
Please keep in mind that housekeeper Hanna will ask you to pay the tourist tax (€ 1,70 per person per day) in cash on Sunday, the day after your arrival. She will come by somewhere between 6 and 7 PM.

Apart from that, there's nothing for you to keep in mind, really... Just bring warm clothes in winter, and don't be surprised when you encounter cows roaming around the home!
