The chalet is very quietly located on the edge of the forest and has a cozy living/dining room with dining table, a small, well-equipped kitchen (with refrigerator, mini-oven and microwave), 2 bedrooms (one of which has an extra folding bed), a modern bathroom, balcony and garden with garden furniture. The countless different hiking trails in this hiking area, which extend to an altitude of over 2500 meters, begin directly in front of the chalet. Directly from the town you can reach the Astental, which is perfect for various leisure activities such as hiking, mountaineering or mountain biking. In winter, Mörtschach is an ideal starting point for ski days in Heiligenblut, on the Mölltal Glacier or in the Lienz Dolomites.

- "Wij troffen een mooi, ruim, goed afgewerkt en zeer kompleet ingericht chalet aan op een ruime rustige , goed bereikbare locatie met ruim uitzicht. De omgeving is prachtig. Goede uitvalslocatie om van alles te ondernemen, zowel in de zomer als in de winter. Met 9 volwassenen en 4 kinderen (1 t/m) 7 jaar hebben we een heerlijke comfortabele vakantie gehad alles was aanwezig een zeer ruime eetkeuken met grote tafel waar we met zijn allen konden ontbijten, een grote gezellige woonkamer waar ieder zowel oud als jong zijn gang kon gaan, ruime slaapkamers met goede bedden, en goede badkamers, en zelfs een prachtige wellnessruimte. Aan alles is gedacht en we ontdekten steeds meer. Helaas bleven we maar 1 week, maar een maand had ook gekund."

For beginners, there is a practice lift with practice slope, children learn their first turns in the children's area and fans of tour skiing and freeriding will find some great off-the-beaten-path routes. Red 3, the FISS-Rennpiste, and black 5 are tips for advanced skiers and for beginners, blue 10 combined with blue 6 is highly recommended. Near the Grossglockner is our newly renovated and fully conditioned cottage. The house is in an authentic village with many amenities. Because of its location on the south side of the Alps, this area has many hours of sunshine. In the vicinity there are 3 ski areas: Heiligenblut 10 minutes drive (55 km (+ 11 km), half an hour drive away the Mölltaler Gletscher (17 km (+ 7 km), with eternal snow) and the Lienzer Bergbahnen (21 km (+3 km)). Even in high season there are no waiting times at the lift!

Our house has 8 very comfortable hotel beds and 1 guest bed. Given its peaceful location, good night's sleep guaranteed!

The house is very spacious lounges. Because there are two floors offers plenty of privacy for larger groups. Upstairs are a large and small bedroom with 4 beds, living room, kitchen and bathroom. On the ground floor is the second bathroom and two very large bedrooms, one with TV.

The cozy living room with luxury wood stove with comfortable armchairs and a sofa. There is an 8-person Austrian seating area. There is a stereo system with DVD player and flat screen TV. Via the satellite you receive all the Dutch channels. From the room you come on the balcony overlooking the mountains. Thus, you can even stay out nice fit which when it rains and thunders.

The separate kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, coffee maker, refrigerator and freezer. You do not often use the dishwasher, because generous cutlery, crockery and utensils are provided.

The property has 4 large bedrooms and 2 showers/toilets. The living room will be quite full when staying there with 8. The kitchen is well equipped. - "Wir waren das erste Mal in einem Glamping Urlaub und waren sehr neugierig auf den Aufenthalt. Die Kinder haben es geliebt. Die autofreie Anlage war ideal für die Kinder und sie konnten sich super austoben. Das Quartier (Chalet) war von der Größe her perfekt (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) und es war alles da, was für den Urlaub gebraucht wird. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, die Kinder wollen in einem Safari-Zelt wohnen! Als Verbesserung könnte ich mir in der Rezeption die Möglichkeit vorstellen ein paar Dinge für den ersten Tag oder Nacht kaufen zu können (z.B. Kaffeekapseln, Milch, Butter,...). Normalerweise hat man es zwar mit aber wir wussten nicht ob und welche Kaffeemaschine vorhanden ist und mussten über das Wochenende ohne Kaffee auskommen :-("

The family slope is located next to Alpensuss. There is a tow and chair lift and a ski school. The large Nassfeld ski area with 110 km slopes is a 25-minute drive away.

In summer you can do beautiful walks, cycle and climb mountains. There are many activities to do in the area. About 400 meters away you will find the Aquarena, a public swimming paradise with a large sunbathing lawn, wellness and tennis courts. During the summer season, late May to early September, we offer our guests 4 free daily swimming tickets for 50 euros per whole stay.

The village center, shops, two supermarkets and various (café)restaurants are located 500 meters from Alpensuss.

The large windows in the livingroom/kitchen offer wide views of the countryside and mountains. You can darken the windows and leave the sun outside with electric blinds.

The space
There is a simple alpine pasture on 800 meters of altitude on a mountain ridge. In particular, the Alm is suitable:
- if you love the originality
- want to do your handicrafts (woodwork, mowing...)
- want to make music yourself (a grand piano is provided)
- find yourself again again

I have everything you need here: firewood, fresh water, a beautiful simple alpine pasture and almost infinite space for almost any outdooor experience.

The time you or you are with me is supposed to be a home for you as well as for me. That said, we share the alpine pasture with each other We will discuss who cooks what and when, of course, you can use my kitchen. If you want me to cook for you, I can do that and then charge €15.- for one day of full board per person. Tea and coffee are included. If you leave, I expect you to clean up here again and it is nice if you can take your garbage back with you.

You can also do seminars on my alpine pasture. For example, we have experienced firecourses and sweat lodge fasting here. Not a problem if it has to be really loud at the seminar. We have no neighbors!

The space
The house consists of natural wood inside and outside and is divided as follows: on the first floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with a large living and dining area, which offers access to the terrace and garden. On this level there is also a bathroom with toilet and shower. A staircase leads to the 2nd floor of the house, in which there are the two bedrooms (1x double bed, 3x single bed), as well as a covered balcony for a cozy glass of wine in the evening. In addition to the 4 beds, mattresses and a sofa bed can also be used as sleeping facilities.
Outside, there is a covered terrace with plenty of seating for a relaxing day/evening in summer with family or friends. In the garden there is a grill, which can be shared. In addition, the garden has enough space to romp, play, run or just switch off.

Unobstructed views of two valleys. There is a barrel sauna in the garden. Hiking trails and ski lift are just a few hundred meters from the chalet and walking distance. 4K TV in the living room with AmazonPrime/Netflix/YouTube, Smart TV with XBox in the children's room, a quaint bar and fully automatic coffee machine. A washing machine and dryer and a storage room for ski and ski boots are also available.

The space
The furniture was lovingly crafted by hand with solid wood and combines modern architecture with pure cosiness. Be it sweating in the barrel sauna next to the house, cuddling in the reading alcove with glass wall towards the valleys or simply in the adventurous children's bedroom with tree trunk beds. We honestly promise that you will feel comfortable with us and that you can enjoy an uncomplicated holiday pleasure with all the amenities.

For the summer we are in the middle of the hiking area with free program for the younger ones with eg rock climbing with trainer, alpine visits with butter, campfire for barbecue, pony riding and much more. The summer toboggan run from the Bergspitze to the valley station is also about 15 minutes walking distance from us and always worth a few drops of adrenaline:-)
