The only thing I didn't like is the check-in and check-out timing. Check-in is at 18.00 (too late) and check-out is at 9.00 (too early). - "We were upgraded to a better bungalow on arrival . We loved it at Camping Village Baya. Everything was so well organised and very clean and tidy. The restaurant was very good and we had the best meal of the holiday whilst we were there. Breakfast was very disappointing as there wasn't much choice and it wasn't laid out very well. The camp was right on the beach and it was lovely. I have never stayed at a Camping Village before and could highly recommend it."

- "Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! Staff at reception and bars were all helpful and friendly. Don't be put off by the one pool barman who never smiles - he's just serious about his job! (just make sure to wear your bathing cap....). There was a guitarist singing at the pool bar during one night of our visit which was a highlight for us. I would definitely return and stay here again."

- "The mobile homes were a great alternative when Via Francigena hostels were full. Friendly people, swimming pool was wonderful , and an easy walk back and forth to San Gimignano." - "Fantastic location 2.5 kilometres from San Gimignano old centre. Probably one of the most beautiful locations in Toscana. The houses are very small and plasticky, and the restaurant is not very good. We did not realise this before going, but the swimming pool is not a part of the camping place but a public pool outside the camping. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay very much. It’s a perfect starting point for trips to all of Toscana, and there’s a really nice restaurant, Fuori Porta (Via Roma 6|8) at a walking distance of 2 kilometres towards San GIMIGNANO. Note that the place is not suited for people with walking difficulties."

- "The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back." - "Price was okay but the property itself was unclean, the AC for heating didnt really work and had to use the space heater, there appeared to be some sort of sauce stain on the floors that hadnt been cleaned, toliet seat was also broken. - "We had a new 1 bed cabin. It was adequate for our needs for a week, if a little on the small side. There was no storage for our luggage, which took up valuable space and no kettle to boil water for tea. We had to use the saucepan. However pouring boiling water from a big pan into a small cup was tricky. Manager told us Italians don't use kettles.pool was good and short walk to beach."

- "We enjoyed our stay. The camp site is good for families and the staff were friendly. The restaurant and bar were very good and good value for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The entertainment/evening show is only aimed at children and is mainly in Italienne, it was learning songs and dance moves to the songs, which our 6 year old granddaughter was able to follow. We found the continuous loud music at the pool not very conducive for relaxing. They could have at least an hour a day without music for the grandparents! The chalet was clean and in good condition. We were in number 94 and we would have preferred to have been in one of the other chalets. The terrace wasn't large enough to eat at the table. The other chalets were able to put their table in front of the chalet. This wasn't possible with our chalet as it was on the end, with no shade and camper vans turning round. The Greenchalets are ideally situated near the restaurant, pool and play area but far enough to not hear the music. Our granddaughter was happy, so therefore we were happy. She's maybe returning later in the season with her mum. The property owner was very quick in replying to emails."

- "Nice lodge (superior), air con was nice. Beds basic but fine, shower ok. Beach sunbeds were expensive (£260 for 4 sunbeds for 6 days) but nice enough beach and had to go there because the pool has some crazy ridiculous rule about wearing a silly rubber hat in the pool when it’s 33 degrees. They are not worried about all the children weeing in the pool but if a hair were to fall out! It’s obviously a ploy to divert people away from the pool area and onto the beach which you have to pay for so that is annoying, but all in all a nice basic campsite with ‘ok’ lodges. It is in the middle of nowhere though so once your in, your in! "

- "The resort is fantastic. It is set upon the hillside with lots of choice of type of glamping accommodation. The accommodation is good we stayed in a bungalow which has very comfortable beds and a great shower it also has air conditioning. The pool area, snack bar and restaurant are all excellent, I loved the pizza. We travelled by train to Follonica and the resort is hard to get to only option is taxi which was 40 euro. There is s bus but limited times. The shop on sight was small with limited choice for our situation and unable to get around. This is not a fault of the site I would suggest only to visit this place if you have a car so you get about to a local supermarket and surrounding area. We had a very relaxing holiday and the views are amazing I would definitely come again and hire a car next time. The staff were all very helpful and polite."

The room was clean, but we did get quite a few mosquito bites at night—-but let’s be real, it’s a campground. Bed and sheets were clean. Staff spoke “okay English” but they were super friendly and did their best. They advertise private beach with chairs, but these are not included in the fee. That is a private beach. We visited the free beach next door. — if you need towels, walk down the street, there was a place to grab some cheap beach towels for 8 euro each. Overall we enjoyed our stay. "

- "A hidden gem. Young property,clean lines. Rooms very clean great WiFi. Fluffy towels but most important good pressure, plentiful hot water. Buffet breakfast. Cafe facilities all day round a good size pool. Then a Italian type evening choice restaurant. Stopped in Vada village for five nights after hectic fours days in Rome. Used the train, perfect. Hotel was less than five minutes walk. Left for Pisa bye train after a relaxing time. Will visit again "

THE ESTATE:

Immersed in the most unspoilt nature and reachable only after having travelled 5 km of dirt road, the estate covers 80 hectares of hilly terrain of which more than 30 are woodland.

Extraneous to any kind of pollution, not only of the soil but also light or acoustic. It is self-sufficient thanks to the source that feeds the natural lake, the richness of its woodland, the products of the land and its farm animals.

Every architectural and agronomic choice has been geared exclusively to the principle of eco-sustainability and the creation of a truly organic product.

LODGINGS:

Immersed in nature, but with all the comforts of a suite. Ours are much more than just tents: they are eco-sustainable lodges, with double beds, bathrooms with large shower cubicles and spacious verandas where you can enjoy the sunset, perhaps after a dive in the woods, a pleasant yoga session or a break in our heated swimming pool.

Here the boundaries between indoors and outdoors are subtle: just lift the wall to get a front-row seat from which to enjoy the magnificent spectacle that nature puts on. The play of light and shadow, the changing seasons throughout the year and the local fauna: porcupines, roe deer, foxes, stone martens, badgers, hares, wild boar and pheasants.

You can of course cook for yourself in the very fully equipped kitchen or choose from the many restaurants at walking distance.

The space
The mobile home has two bedrooms, the first bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed.
So 5 beds in total.
In the living room, there is a fixed corner sofa that can be converted to a sixth sleeping place.
A very complete kitchen, shower and toilet.
Bed linen and towels are not included, these can be rented at the campsite or of course brought along yourself.
The cost to rent is for bed linen EUR 5,00 per person and if you want to add towels in addition to the bed linen then it is EUR 10,00 per person.
