In Caprese Michelangelo you will find the castle and birthplace of the legendary artist Michelangelo and great restaurants. You can have truffles on your pasta which is incredible. Look for anything with Tartufi. So the pasta con Tartufi or Gnocchi con Tartufi which means with truffles.
Enjoy an authentic Italian experience at the local olive oil mill. The mill dates back to 1421 and is still in use to this day.
This wonderful experience of visiting an oil mill is fantastic. First you will have a little tour of the mill and then you go to the family residence where you will enjoy a fresh and delicious meal complete with wine made from the grapes from their own vineyard in the courtyard. This is preceded by an opportunity to taste the many variations on their own oils. Particularly remarked upon, are the fennel, lemon, black and white truffle and basil flavoured oils.

The villas are wonderful - huge amounts of well appointed space with private bathrooms for almost every bedroom, loads of flexibility for families and friends. The AC worked well in most rooms which was crucial in the July heat. The common spaces are gorgeous and we were able to have different events/meals at different beautiful locations so everyday felt ‘new’. They helped us arrange golf and wine tasting for the group. A pizza party with a great DJ and lights. A more formal, multi-course dinner. BBQ dinner. A lovely brunch. Nice breakfast. I was expecting (hoping for) the food to be good, but it was all wonderful. The cooking class on site (for ~30 people) was so fun! We made pasta and everyone was involved. We also had a couple of unexpected medical issues that Leone and Giulia were amazing to help us with. Including arranging ambulance, liaising with the A&E at the hospital and driving 35 minutes each way just to check in and bring us a nice lunch as we were at the hospital for a while. Way over and above what was expected, and just very genuine and caring. I can’t recommend Villa Nemora enough. You can trust that Giulia and Leone will look after everything and everyone for a fabulous experience."
