The Huckleberry Glampsite is located on seven private acres at the end of a private road amongst the Giant Western Red Cedars and Alders, 1.5 miles from the Seaside Village of Langley with dining, shopping, whale watching, marina and so much more.
The Huckleberry features a classy, rustic 12'x15' covered cooking/dining area with mood and utility lighting, concrete floor, metal table and chairs, propane two burner cook top, mini fridge, sink (with running cold water), and 10' tile countertop with step-up bar and 110V electrical outlets and a charcoal barbecue.
The 12'x16' concrete tent pad supports a spacious waterproof Octagon Colman tent for cozy shelter with a hinged door, 6'+ ceiling and indoor/outdoor carpet floor. The tent has a comfy queen bed with a 5-inch memory foam pad with a cover. There is nothing more relaxing than feeling the fresh forest air on your face while snuggled up in a warm bed.
The fire pit provides warmth and light while enjoying your favorite beverage under the cedars. The Galvalume Room is a clean, modern space to enjoy a hot shower, and the wine barrel trash and recycling receptacles add a little character to the disposal process. A clean, private composting toilet with hand washing station is conveniently located for your personal needs.
Langley is a beautiful place to explore; it's a 15-minute walk or a short drive or bike ride with plenty of dining opportunities if you don't feel like cooking or want to enjoy a morning coffee or tea in the village. Langley has a harbor and marina with boat mooring and launch, so if you wish to bring your boat/kayaks and crab or fish, we have available parking for trailers and boats 24 ft. or less. Enjoy the best of both worlds, a peaceful, woodsy camping experience on the outskirts of Langley, Village by the Sea.

Enjoy your stay at this 20 ft wide by 57 ft long wooded RV and tent site. Full 50 amp electric and water hookup are included. Additional camp space with firepit,picnic table and popup compost type toilet are part of this site and are quite nice if you have any additional guests. FYI: Sometimes jet noise is common to this area. 7miles from Deception pass and 2 miles from town. Tent campers or RV campers or bolth at the same time are welcome.

This campground area includes a large driveway for RVs , cars or any other vehicle and adjacent to the driveway there is a tent area that now has a large cover added for rain protection of your tent, also included is a pop up compost type toilet, picnic table and a 🔥 firepit.
Other things to note
You may hear some road noise at this site despite the tree lined barrier between the road and the campsite. Site numbers have now been marked with wooden posts. This is site number 1.

You are just mins away from one of the most visited spots in the Pacific North West, Deceptions pass!! Just a short drive away you have many other things to do! The camper sleeps 4, a queen size bed as well as a dinette that folds down to a bed.

The 4000-acre Deception Pass State Park is your backyard when you walk through your own private gate. Explore the nearby lake using borrowed kayaks. Stroll among giant trees or discover fairy-sized gardens. Take in the wonders of this century-old state park with its lakes, beaches, forests and wildlife. When you’re done adventuring, come back to the comfort of beds, kitchen and a shower. Sit around the fire or watch the sunset from the bridge.
The space
This unique place is right on the edge of the popular Deception Pass State Park, next to Cranberry Lake day use area and dock and a mile walk from the beach. With 38 miles of trails and several beautiful beaches to walk to, you don’t need to bring all your camping gear, just come and explore! Do you like wildlife? Birds? Mushrooms? Native plants? Boating? Fishing? Hiking? Beach combing? Photography? Swimming? Scuba diving? This area accommodates all these activities. In summer the park is full of tourists and fun activities, and the weather is usually gorgeous! Late spring and early fall still have an abundance of good weather, but the park is a bit quieter. During the rainy season the park has its own special beauty. It is green, quiet, and wet, but not usually as cold as the weather inland. A walk through the rainy winter forest has a beauty all its own. And for birdwatchers, Cranberry Lake is a winter haven for some northern birds such as trumpeter swans.
Your accommodation is an RV located in the hosts’ backyard. It has a small private lawn area with gas fire table (upon request during the rainy season) and gate into the state park. The rest of the backyard is shared with the hosts’ family and includes a large picnic table and trampoline. Inside, on one end there is a bedroom with an RV short queen bed and cozy electric fireplace. The other end contains the bunk beds. Unplug or stay connected with TV and Wifi access. There is a dining nook, love seat and a kitchen with RV-sized appliances - refrigerator, gas stove with oven, microwave, sink and cabinet space. The small but full bath includes a sink, shower and short tub. All linens and basic dining and kitchen utensils are included. There is even a hand-held outdoor shower with hot water. Three loaner kayaks are available and easily launched on the lake. The RV is most comfortable for up to two adults and two kids using the queen bed and two bunks (slightly shorter than a single bed), but there is also a fold-out loveseat that converts to a five-foot bed. Please contact host if needing the extra bed.

Parking is in the driveway in front of the gate. Guests may use the area along the sides of the RV and the private yard space behind the RV. The back gate is guests’ private access to Deception Pass State Park!
Other things to note
Property is located near NAS Whidbey. There are times growler jets and other aircraft fly low over the neighborhood and state park, sometimes repeatedly. The growler jets are very loud.
The RV is located next to the neighborhood foot path into the State Park and will have neighbor foot traffic.
Entry fee when driving a car into the State Park is $10/day or $30 for a yearly pass that is good for any Washington State Park. There is no cost for accessing the park on foot.
We also have chickens and ducks. They can be noisy early in the morning.

The airstream 'pad' is located below our main home on the property (Dancing Trees Whidbey). We Airbnb the main house separately (or you can book both together). Any of our guests that book the main house (Dancing Trees) during our peak season will be given the opportunity to add this to their reservation. In the off season we welcome guests when the main house is not booked by other groups.
The queen bedroom has privacy drapes, room to store clothing, hangers, sheets, comforter and extra blankets and pillows.
A small shower can be found in the hallway, curtains can be drawn on both sides for privacy. A small bathroom toilet and sink + towels, robes, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided.
Small kitchenette offers space to cook stove top, in a small oven and small microwave. Well stocked with cook and service ware. Tea, Tea kettle, coffee and coffee maker are provided.
Kitchen table converts easily to a full-size bed, bedding provided in benches below. Living Room couch converts to a twin bed, bedding provided on shelves above.
Outdoor space includes a hammock, fire pit, outdoor table.
Connected to electricity, propane, water, interior lighting, in/out ceiling fans, front screen door, awning, windows w/screens + heat/thermostat for cooler months and air conditioning when it's warm.
Shared spaces include hot tub (behind main house), front orchard (summer months), large swing in backyard, swing set in front yard, 6 acres below -- standing rope swing, hiking trails, old fort, owls, frogs, deer and more!
Owners may be on property in main house in the Fall, Winter and Spring. During Summer months this is rented alongside main house rentals only. Free Parking options provided. No washer and dryer access.
No parties, quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am.

The hot tub on the property is a shared space. If main house is rented, guests there have an opportunity to book the airstream to add additional capacity. We do not rent it separately if main house is booked.
Owners will be onsite in main house but will give guests privacy.
Swing sets, forts, 6 + acres below main 2 acres of property + other outdoor play spaces are open to everyone. Fruit trees at front of property can be enjoyed by all.

Your stay at Dancing Fish Vineyards offers a unique opportunity to experience our working winery and beautiful grounds. Feel free to join any of our public events, including concerts and food events (visit our website for details). While other guests may be enjoying the property, your rented space (generally the Airstream and grassy area behind the Lookout) will remain exclusively yours.
We occasionally host private events in our Historic Barn or other event spaces. Should this occur during your stay, we'll ensure both parties are aware and respectful of each other's enjoyment of the property.
Other things to note
You'll find the Airstream nestled atop a gentle, grassy hill, a short walk (about 500 feet) from where you'll park your car. We recommend comfortable shoes.
This rental is located on the Dancing Fish Vineyards property, which includes a winery, tasting room, and event venue. Public events, such as weekly concerts and food events, are held here. Guests are welcome to make reservations for these events through the winery's website.
Your private space, primarily the Airstream and the grassy area behind the ‘Lookout,’ will be respected during your stay. However, please be aware that private events may be held in the Historic Barn or other areas of the property. In such cases, both parties will be informed and asked to respect each other's spaces.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the full property, including late-night access to the bocce ball and cornhole areas, and strolls among the vines under the stars.
