Maple Cove Hideaway is magical! The entire front of the house is covered in glass allowing unobstructed water views out to Camano Island, Hat Island and the snow capped Cascades, including Mt. Baker, in the background. The end of road privacy combined with the sensational views is truly amazing! Double french doors open from the family room on to a large, 500 square foot deck that brings you even closer to the water. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck and watch the sunrise over the Cascades, have a meal at the table overlooking the water or leave the french doors open to bring the outside in.

The cabin is less than two miles from the charming artist town of Langley. Great restaurants, a micro brewery, coffee shops, shopping, grocery store, live theater and an old fashioned movie theater are just some of the attractions in Langley.

The cabin has been completely renovated from roof to foundation. It's very cozy with a gas fireplace and a modern rustic vibe. A fully equipped kitchen is only missing your mad cooking skills and ingredients from the local farmers market to produce gourmet meals. Curl up in the cozy family room to watch a movie (Netflix is provided) or be entertained by the "Amazon Echo".

There is a sleeping loft upstairs with a comfy queen size bed and an extra long twin bed. There is also a queen, high quality sofa bed in the family room. This is not your typical marginal sofa bed; it's very comfortable. Two floor to ceiling windows upstairs provide a great place to watch the world go by.

Connectivity is great with 1 Gig Fiber internet and blue tooth connectivity to the large flat screen TV and sound bar with subwoofer to play your music from your phone. There are four conveniently located USB ports to charge your devices.

The cabin is accessible by car from the south via a 15 minute Mukilteo/Clinton ferry, from the north by crossing over the Deception pass bridge or from the west via the Port Townsend/Coupeville ferry. Once on the island drive times are approx.10 minutes from Clinton, 25 minutes from Coupeville and 1 hour from Deception pass. Regardless of how you get to the island you will immediately experience the slower pace of life on Whidbey and the friendly, welcoming residents.

There is so much to explore on the island. - "This is such a cute little place. Very clean and comfortable. The town of Coupeville has many wonderful restaurants that we tried and were delicious. It also has a lot of interesting history. Coupeville is a sleepy town during the week and things close up by 8 pm, although the weekends may have more options for a nightcap or drink if you chose. The owners wine shop below is open Wed-Sat or Sunday and is a treat for wine tasting!" - "We wanted a little getaway where we could have nature and quaintness all at our fingertips. In less than a two minute walk, we had access to restaurants, ice cream, book shops, gift shops, wines shops, the beach shore, and the long dock that leads out to the picturesque wharf. NEW! For 2025 is central AC for those few hot days we now get. An efficient NEW mini-split heat pump has been installed in 2025 for quiet and comfortable heating and cooling.

Unwind on our spacious deck, gather around the fire pit, stroll the beach, hide away on the private outdoor promontory, or cozy up inside to enjoy the scenery. Plus, enjoy seasonal use of kayaks and a rowboat (waiver required).

Most comfortable for groups of up to four Guests, but we can accommodate a fifth Guest with an additional fee. Children, including infants need to be included in Guest count as we are on a sensitive two bedroom septic system.

Conveniently located between Coupeville and Oak Harbor, enjoy fabulous VIEWS south across Penn Cove of the Olympic Mountains and Coupeville, and east of the Cascades! Sandpiper Haven is truly a bird watcher's paradise with floating flocks of resident and migratory water fowl and overhead visits by a neighboring family of eagles. For the seafood lovers, try mussel and clam digging and enjoy fishing just steps from the back door.

The day brings beautiful views of boats, seals and otters playing in the water, and of the snowy peaks of the Olympic Mountains rising in the distance beyond the shores of Penn Cove. To the east catch glimpses of the Cascade Mountains as well. The house is south facing to capture the warmth of the sun on a large private deck in fair weather, or inspire romance watching storm-churned waves while comfortably seated indoors by the large stone fireplace with esthetic LED candle light and drift wood insert.

Evenings can be spent by a private fire pit roasting marshmallows, curled up with a book in our comfy Great Room, playing games and doing puzzles with friends and family, or watching a movie.

Or, you may prefer an evening out with great dining options in Coupeville, Langley, Oak Harbor and beyond.

This is a low-allergen environment. For this reason, no pets (including service animals) and no smoking /vaping/marijuana use are permitted in the house or on any part of the property, including the deck, gardens, and promontory. Odors can waft from outside into the house and our rules are strictly enforced. Thank you for your commitment to keeping our home low-allergen. Ask if you have any questions.

During Peak Months (basically May through Sept, and occasionally later in April and early October) also enjoy access to two sea kayaks and a 12' Rowboat to Qualified Guests to explore the cove, fish or crab. We have crabbing and fishing gear too. Separate signed waiver required to access the boats. Ask before you book if you need confirmation if the boats are available to you outside of May through September dates.

Also, possible access to the local small, private, heated outdoor community pool as our valued Guests mid-June through Labor Day is on a limited basis. We cannot guarantee pool access to Guests as our CC&R is subject to changing their rules without notice.

We have a heavenly pillow-top Queen Bed in the Master, and two twins in the 2nd bedroom also with pillow-top mattresses, that you an push together to make a King Bed (extra linens and a joiner are provided). A sleeper sofa with additional memory foam topper is in the Living Room, and the couch is also the size of a twin bed with the cushions removed. We provide extra linens to help accommodate your sleeping arrangements. We even provide a portable crib and bedding for infants.

An outdoor private promontory allows you to get further away from it all, boasting even more up front amazing views down the beach and across Penn Cove towards Coupeville and the mountains.

Action seekers may kayak the cove (seasonal use of our boats with waiver) or explore the many hiking and bike trails within minutes from the house. Bring your own boat, kayak, or stand up paddle board and launch it from our private community-owned boat launch and dock just several houses from the property.

The house was built in 2003 so is well-insulated and perfect for year-round enjoyment and newly updated heating and cooling systems for central heat and air. Many Guests spend their holidays here, finding plenty of cookware and now also enjoy (2024) our new stainless appliances to their cook holiday meals.

More about the area: The historic waterfront town of Coupeville, visible across the cove, can be reached in minutes by car. Oak Harbor, to the North, is also minutes away for major shopping amenities and restaurants. And to the West lies Historical Ebey's Landing Preserve and the nearby Coupeville Ferry with service to historic Port Townsend. Greenbank Winery, antiques shops, galleries, the town of Langley, and Deception Pass are also nearby. Are you a Practical Magic fan? Find iconic movie locations nearby.

Best suited for: families, romantic getaways, anniversary celebrations, couples retreats, friend weekends away, visiting others during a local reunion, remote work location, lodging while attending a local workshop, attending a wedding, holiday gatherings, anniversary presents for the grandparents, adventure-seekers, and many more. Although we can only accommodate up to 5 Guests, and cannot host events, it is a great stepping off point for enjoying other events on the island.

Note, although we allow for "instant book", we send follow-up questions for Guests to answer to make sure we are a good fit with each other. In the very rare instance, if we discover Guests are not the right fit (such as bringing too many Guests, or pets, or previous poor reviews, or smokers), we request you cancel your booking. To be honest, this has only come up about twice in over 14 years of property management. Just know that we value great communication and conscientious Guests. Thank you.

On even more rare occasions (maybe once in over 13 years) we may have received a booking on a different listing site that has not updated to VRBO (usually synced several times a day). We commit to resolving such unlikely events promptly, within 24 hours, and ask forgiveness in advance if such an extremely unlikely event were to occur.

Please note we do have two external motion detection security cameras off the front of the house. These comply with all VRBO guidelines, of course. But make sure to ask if you have any questions.

Apologies, we are not yet set up for EV Vehicle charging. Guests are not authorized to run electrical charging cables from our home to charge vehicles. We hope to add a charging station someday. There are charging stations nearby in Oak Harbor and Coupeville. Thank you.

Our Whidbey Vacation Rental Home is located near the Navy Carrier Landing Practice Field. During your stay, you may experience one of their practice sessions --with Navy fighter jets flying low over the house as they approach the practice field. These last approximately two hours and generally occur in the late morning or late evening hours.
Disposable ear protectors and ear plugs are available for our guests to use if needed.
If the jets are flying during the late morning, use that time to visit one of the many local parks in the area -- or sit on the porch and enjoy the air show! Quote from a recent guest: "We especially LOVED watching the jets flying from Whidbey NAS!! It’s not something that you see everyday."

Cleaning Note :-) I think some Vacationers would like to know that I do 100% of the cleaning between Vacationers myself.
I usually schedule/block a day or two minimum between vacationers so I can take my time and clean/disinfect the cottage. Please read my reviews for the Driftwood Cabin! It really is a magical place :-)
All linens, bed covers, towels, blankets and such are laundered complete between Vacationers. We always provide new pillows, comforters, sheets and try to offer the cleanest and most comfortable environment for our guests!

The guesthouse bedrooms are located on the second floor. The rooms are well appointed but please be aware that the ceiling height on the 2nd floor is 6’-8” and therefore is not recommended for individuals over 6’-5”. The master bedroom has a stunning view and is spacious and very comfortable.
The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and the deck offers dining and lounging areas. Deer are frequent visitors and eagles nest nearby.
During March and April keep an eye out for whale watching boats. Gray whales spouting can often be seen.
The living room has a TV with cable and access to Netflix and HBO. There are books, games and puzzles as well as binoculars at your disposal.
There is a fire pit (upon request) with plenty of fire wood, when burn bans are not in place.
Although your privacy is important to us, we are available to answer questions or make recommendations on activities and restaurants.

Thank you for your interest in a reservation at Sunset Beach Cottage on Whidbey Island. I’d like to introduce you to my beach side vacation rentals. I know you will be pleased with a stay here.

This is a wonderful time of year to be on the Island, and the beach with its spectacular views will be beckoning you outside from your doorstep. I love to walk out at low tide, looking for sand dollars and seashells, the solitude broken only by the cry of Blue Heron and our local eagles. Our low tides can go ¼ mile out and yet the sand is very firm for beach combing. There are rubber boots in the closet for guests to use, but you may wish to bring your own foul weather gear for your comfort.

The accommodations are in a beautifully remodeled two-bedroom guest cottage, with a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a couch that makes out into a queen bed, and a small bedroom with a twin bed with a trundle. If you or anyone you know will be visiting this season, please keep in mind this relaxed and comfortable “spare room” we have here.

For your comfort, there is digital smart TV and a full kitchen. Peruse through our small library and take a book home with you if you can’t put it down. Enjoy our house games and puzzles. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people.

Once you are settled in, the nightly sunset views of Admiralty Inlet, the Olympic Mountain Range, and the shipping lanes of Puget Sound from the living room/kitchen or the master bedroom, are nothing less than spectacular. You or your guests can spend time enjoying the natural beauty around you, walking, bird watching, biking, boating, and more. If you are so inclined, you can take advantage of the sophisticated and exciting artistic life of Whidbey Island. Langley, home of the renowned Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, the Clyde Movie Theater, and several regionally known restaurants, shops and galleries is a 10-minute drive away. Escape the hustle and bustle of city life, in this peaceful woodland cabin retreat. Just 1 hour from Seattle, this very private and secluded cabin in the woods is just a ferry ride away. Your vacation begins with a short 20 minute ferry crossing from Mukilteo to Clinton. You can feel the stress of everyday life melting away the moment the ferry leaves the shore. The perfect quick get-away to celebrate an anniversary, honeymoon or writers retreat.

The kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances; coffee pot, waffle iron, blender, toaster, crock pot, pressure cooker, iron skillets and large stainless steel pots for soup. There are plenty of utensils. The pantry is stocked with many staples, such as flour, sugar, coffee, teas, honey, olive oil, etc. There is a hot water dispenser lever at the kitchen sink. Great for a quick cup of tea.

The cabin can sleep 2-4 people, but is ideally intended for couples. There is 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed together in the upper loft and a comfy sofa in the Living Room. The bedding is new and soft. Plenty of fresh linens and towels are provided. Small shampoos and hand soaps are provided as well. Take a soak in the claw-foot tub during your stay. Bubble bath is under the sink. When the windows are open, it feels as if you are bathing in the midst of the forest. The only onlookers will be “Willow”, the mama deer and her fawn “Fern”. Ideal for bird enthusiast, and hikers. The movie "My Greatest Year" with Steve Martin is a great comedy that documents birding on the island.

Sip on a cup of tea in front of a warm crackling fire, by the large indoor rock fireplace. A fire is always prepped and ready to light upon your arrival. There is wood stacked beside the 'little people door' outside the living room. There is a gas grill on the outside deck. You are welcome to use it, or you can cook over the open fire pit. Smores’ are especially yummy at night. There are modified golf clubs turned into marshmallow roasting sticks available.

In the evenings, listen for the owl hooting to its mate through the trees. The cry of a majestic eagle as it soars overhead is always a memorable sound. When you are hiking the property to the State Park, see if you can find their nest very high up in the tops of 80-120 ft trees. They are absolutely amazing! In the morning, enjoy the tranquility of the property with a cup of coffee out on the front porch, while enjoying the small birds having their breakfast from the feeders. And it’s always entertaining to watch the playful chipmunks in a game of hide-and-go seek.

A bit of the cabin’s history:
This charming Log Cabin on 4 acres was built in 1902 by a ship builder and his three sons, in the midst of an 'Old Growth Forest. They used it as a fishing cabin. There was a fire on the island in 1910, but most of the trees around the cabin, and the cabin itself were spared. It was heated with a rock fireplace and an old stove that was built out of an expandable steel barrel, which is still on the property. When we purchased the cabin in 2007, the fireplace was falling in and had to be dismantled and rebuilt. A wonderful rock mason from Yugoslavia rebuilt it. Most of the stones came from an underground spring discovered on the island at the Naval Air Station in Oak Harbor. There are still several tons of rock on the property, which we hope to someday use to add a downstairs bedroom. There is a photo album in the living room containing many original pictures.

We tried to keep within the period of the early 1900’s in the kitchen. The stove is a replica of an old wood stove, but is actually electric. The old sink came out of a house in Seattle that was being torn down. What used to be a ladder to the sleeping loft is now a set of stairs made from the wood of one large tree milled on the property. The old loft ladder is now in the bathroom. It can be used to store suitcases above the washer and dryer. We have chosen mostly antiques for the furniture. They have a special charm and each piece has a story. There are many interesting stories about the cabin and various people who have called it home.

Welcome to The Hidden Haven! Our fabulous 2 Bed/2 Bath A-Frame retreat sleeps 4 comfortably. It is the perfect place to unwind! Stocked KITCHEN w/ breakfast counter for 2. Open to the living/dining area so you will never feel like you're away from everyone when you're cooking. DINING area seats 4 (can seat up to 8 w/advance notice.) Tablecloths, wine glasses, candles, etc. to set a nice table. LIVING area w/wood burning stove that makes it super cozy. It's a great place to hang out. QUEEN BEDROOM/LOFT w/quality linens and it's own small bathroom. BUNK BEDROOM on main floor with nearby downstairs bathroom that just underwent a major remodel and is gorgeous. DECK w/outdoor dining space for 8 when the weather allows and a year-round BBQ. This home is all DIY and has had a lot of love put into it. We love it there and love to share it!

The HIDDEN HAVEN makes for a wonderful retreat and is constantly undergoing upgrades and improvements! Cork flooring and a gorgeous new bathroom are two recent upgrades that we love.

The KITCHEN underwent a complete remodel in the summer of 2016. Owned by someone who loves to cook, you will find it is fully stocked with everything you need to make and serve a delicious meal. The kitchen is open to the living and dining areas so you will never feel like you're stuck cooking while everyone else is having fun. The breakfast bar seats two.

The DINING area is set for four, but (with advance notice) can accommodate your dinner guests with an extension that allows seating for up to eight. Placemats and tablecloths are available for your use and there are plenty of dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and candles to set a gorgeous table.

The LIVING ROOM has plenty of seating, warm lighting, and fuzzy throws. It's a great place to gather. The wood stove keeps it cozy even on the coldest of nights. Firewood is available for your use. Please note: there is no TV, but there are games, books, bluetooth speaker, etc. to keep you entertained (and high speed wi-fi if you need to work or stream a good movie!)

The MASTER BEDROOM is in the loft. The views from the bed make you feel like you're waking up in a tree house. While open to the living room below, it provides quite a bit of privacy due to the structural design. It has a Queen-sized bed with good linens that will provide a super night of rest. Drawer storage and space to hang your clothes is abundant. The loft is served by it's own small bathroom w/shower.

The DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM contains Twin L-shaped bunk-beds with good linens and sleeps two very comfortably. Beach chairs/towels, extra duvets, games, kids books, Lego and room for your things can be found in the large closet. Down the same hallway on the ground level, you will find the larger bathroom that was just remodeled with a spa style shower.

The DECK is a great place to hang out when the sun is shining. It's the perfect spot to relax while you enjoy your morning tea/coffee. The patio table can seat up to eight when the weather is right for a meal outdoors. The BBQ is available for use year round. Deer frequent the yard which feels worlds away from the rest of the world because the yard is surrounded by trees. Blackberries can often be found ready for picking all along the far side of the driveway.

The LOCATION is a 10-15 minute drive from the Clinton Ferry, 15-20 minutes to Downtown Langley (the Whidbey Transit bus stops in front of the house), just 1.5 miles to Maxwelton Beach, and generally no more than 20 minutes to nearly everything South Whidbey has to offer.

The PROPERTY is a 7,00 square foot lot with a stand alone A-frame cabin home (in a neighborhood of homes occupied mostly by full-time residents) and you will have it all to yourself during your stay. It's enclosed by a wall of trees and feels very private even though there are adjacent lots of similar size, most with homes occupied by permanent residents.

- Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance.

There are a number of comfortable places to sit outside to enjoy a cup of tea and a book. Inside, the cabin is roomy and very clean with all the amenities you need for either a short or a long stay. Each room, including the kitchen, is a generous size and very, very comfortable. I really enjoyed Putney Woods across the street. Loads of trails and just a great place to walk. The Whidbey Island Beach Cottage, formerly known as the Salmon Run Beach Getaway is situated on the beach in Admirals Cove on Admiralty Bay. Enjoy 60 feet of no-bank waterfront near Coupeville, on the sunny west side of beautiful Whidbey Island.

The Coupeville area offers many quaint shops and restaurants within a short drive, or walk/drive onto the nearby ferry and take a day trip to Port Townsend. Many activities are at hand – hiking, biking, golf, fishing, bird watching, beach walks, and diving. The cottage is approximately 940 SF and is decorated in a beach theme. Your lodging sleeps a maximum of 4 persons (KIDS 12+ ONLY): the master bedroom has a Queen bed with a down/feather comforter, loft has a full size sleeper sofa and the small 2nd bedroom has a twin bed. There is one full bathroom with shower/bathtub. The main source of heat is the propane fireplace. Due to the steep and narrow stairs up to the loft and the fireplace that is not child proof, we cannot accept reservations for children under the age of 12.

Please no pets - please respect our policy. NO SMOKING OR VAPING IS ALLOWED INDOORS. Sorry, due to driftwood, absolutely no beach fires allowed. Additional fees will automatically be charged for cleaning if you bring a pet or smoke or vape inside the property.

Maximum of 4 Guests. Additional Guests causes increased use of the home and the septic system. You will be subject to additional fees for cleaning if the number of Guests staying at the house is greater than the number of Guests disclosed when you make the reservation.

Once your reservation is accepted, a copy of the Rental Agreement will be provided. Once booked, Guests automatically agree to abide by the rules and conditions set forth within the Rental Agreement.

PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of a 1 day block is needed between each reservation. VRBO does not automatically block the dates so ALL reservations will need to be reviewed to ensure there is a minimum of 24 hours in between each reservation.

You may hear and see Navy fighter jets overhead during your stay. Ault Field is located north of Coupeville in Oak Harbor and the Naval Outlying Field is located here in Coupeville. The Navy performs and practices “Touch and Go” at the Naval Outlying Field (NOLF) and schedules are only posted about 1 week in advance. Typically, flying does not occur on weekends. If jet noise is an issue for you, please consider that this house and location may not be suitable for you.

Past guests have loved being able to see a part of the training in action, but we do mention this ahead to let guests know there may be noise in the area and to consider this when booking

- Sorry, no pets! If you are travelling with your four legged friends, we highly recommend Whidbey Island Pet Resorts!

- The AC in the house is a split-type ductless system with the AC located on the main floor only. We leave fans in each of the bedrooms for those who like it extra cool in the summer! The windows also provide great air flow.

- The walkway from the parking to the cabin is a fairly steep and not ADA approved, so if you have mobility challenges this may not be the stay for you. If you are arriving in the dark we recommend using a flashlight or phone light to watch your steps as the walkway is not well-lit.
- The property is located in a quiet tight knit community and is a truly peaceful getaway, thus it not a good location for loud groups.
- There is direct access the to beach via the staircase in front of the house. There are quite a few stairs to get to the beach, so if stairs are a problem for you please take note.

We love our quiet country home that we decided to share the back separate part of our home for mature Airbnb guest. We also decided to make the minimum stay for 7 days. Ideal for somebody who likes to work remotely, vacation or your in the Navy looking for something temporarily. We have 1.7 Landscape acres where the Island deer and Eagles roam free. We also have a fire pit to cook smores. Make sure you look at all photos. Please read House Rules.

You will have over 800 sq. feet of total privacy. What separates the host living area and the guest living area is a long hallway. The opposite end of the hallway is our own kitchen entry and living area. Each entry has its own different lock and key. You'll be provided a key for your entry which is separate from the host entry area. You're welcome to view all photos to get an idea of the layout.

You park your vehicle on left side of the first driveway on the gravel at the back part of the house. You will see two entry doors. The one on the left is yours, with a doorbell. The one on the right is the host. Check in is at 4-12 pm. Ring doorbell to get our attention.

We do live in the noise zone of Naval Air Station Whidbey. The apartment is fairly well protected against the noise when the jets are flying. The flight schedule cannot be predicted.

Other than the jets, Quiet time is 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This is a trilevel townhouse with ocean and sunset views. There is a queen bed . Master bedroom king bed with en suite bathroom .Third bedroom downstairs with bunk beds. It is close to the downtown area of Oak Harbor. . This is the perfect place for military families relocating, and rental terms are 30 days minimum.

The Bit & Bridle Cabin has that out-in-the-country feel, yet it is only minutes from Oak Harbor's town center. This small 17 acres farm provides Donna's horses room to play and live and Stan's Autobody & Paint Shop a place to thrive. Other buildings besides the Cabin and the owners' house are a covered riding arena, Stan Wingate's shop, a "Fowl Manor" and run, and a small family residence. Ten beautiful old apple trees are scattered around. The Cabin is next to one of the apple orchards.

The space
Planting food and watching it grow through the seasons imparts a deep peaceful feeling. Enjoying the tastes of home grown veggies and fruits makes your mouth water. Seeing a timeless car restored to is former beauty gives the pride of helping someone get back a piece of car history. Watching a family of horses run through a field touches one with their powerful joy. Seeing acres of tall hay waving in the wind like waves in the ocean in shades of greens. Eating an apple straight from the tree is an inspiration to taste buds!

Guest parking is in the middle of the open yard, you will see.... Other vehicles also pull in and out of the driveway, so it is requested that the driveway is not blocked and the parking area is used instead. Guests may walk about the property in all the open spaces. They may visit inside the fenced enclosure of the vegetable garden. (Though doggies must wait outside the garden fence.) The owners are happy to answer questions when encountered. As they live and work from this farm, they are frequently seen outside undertaking various activities. Horses may be visited. Guests may not enter the horses enclosures without the owner present. All horse enclosures have "HOT" lines. It is a caution to those who may have a pacemaker to be sure to NOT TOUCH the lines. The tingle/sting from them is not dangerous to others or children, but is still not fun! Atlas, a large English retriever, lives with his human, Marissa, in the small residence across the yard from the cabin. He is very friendly. His entire body wags. This home's back yard is private. If guests wish to visit the shop, they may do so by asking Stan to give them a personal tour. Otherwise it should be respected as Stan's place of business.

Nestled between Coupeville and Oak Harbor on a wooded corner of beautiful Whidbey Island, Sunshine Studio offers a quiet escape from the busyness of life while within easy reach of island gems, like Deception Pass and the Keystone ferry.

Other things to note
I have put a lot of thought and effort into the Sunshine Studio, but the space is fairly basic. Please be sure to read the list of amenities so you aren’t expecting something not included.

You have a separate entrance and there are no doors between; however, my house is attached to the airbnb space. Most noise will be negligible, but my floorboards are a bit creaky when I walk.

The distance from the driveway to your entrance covers a distance of about 30 meters (approx. 100ft) along a wooden, skid resistant walkway. I put out ice-melt on the rare occasions that temperatures get below freezing, but please exercise care whenever the walkway is wet. Also, please note there are no accessibility support features.

A small parrot lives with me who is generally well-behaved. I have him on the farthest side of the house from the Sunshine Studio, but sometimes he can be shrill enough to be heard. I never intended to have a parrot, but he needed rescuing.

Two bedroom house on Whidbey Island. The master guest room has a queen bed and the second guest room has a bunk bed. Guest rooms are on the main floor where the kitchen and living room is. The upstairs is not accessible to guests. West of Oak Harbor off of West Beach Rd.

The space
Access to everything on the main floor except the den and garage for storage reasons.
