A charming whimsical retreat in the High Valley community of Packwood, WA. - this retreat is close to Mount Rainier providing countless hiking opportunities; nearly out of the back door! Cowlitz River access is just across the road and a small walking distance away. There are many dvd movies to watch, CDs for listening & books to read. Build a campfire, look at the stars, read a book, or just enjoy the elk walking by. The house sleeps 2 (Queen bed), 1 on a sofa (if you wish but it is not a hide-a-bed). I love decorating so every room has special touches to make it homey and comfortable. If you are looking for sterile plain surroundings this is not the place for you. It has been decorated as my very own home and it is comfortable warm and inviting! I love Packwood and I love the mountains! Use of the seasonal community country club - pool swimming and golf are available upon request (time allowing for permission slips).

Cozy 282 sq foot packwood travel camper on a quiet cul de sac at the end of high valley. King bed with 55 inch hdtv and Xbox s. Pull out sofa with 32 inch hdtv. AC and furnace. Small propane and charcoal Weber grills. Google wifi mesh network. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer and a small shower. Yard games, ping pong, hammocks and fire-pit.

About a 10 minute (5 mile) drive to downtown Packwood. 5 minute walk to the river access trail. About a 30 minute (25 mile) drive to White Pass ski area.

Property is partially fenced in the back yard. Neighbor does have a friendly dog that may visit and also a rooster that wakes up early.

The town was super close too so it was very nice to swing by the brewery at night and coffee shops/stands during the day. Ontop of the location being more than ideal the RV was amazing. So modern, spacious, and clean. Honestly bigger than the photos suggested in my opinion. It offered a lot of fun amenities like ping pong and corn hole. Ask about the guest unit in a inquiry. There is an extra guest room on the property that can be added for an extra $75/night. It is a separate building from the main cabin and attached to the back of the garage. It is 200 sq ft - has a queen bed, bathroom, jakuzzi tub, small wood stove, 55 inch 4K hd tv, soundbar, google Wifi mesh network, Keurig coffee maker, fold down table/desk and chair, and a fridge. It cannot be rented separate from the main cabin. Nor will it ever be occupied if main cabin renters choose not to add it to their stay. If added to the main cabin stay it would increase the maximum people to 8 with 6 adults and 2 children sleeping on the couch or mats.

*For Winter guests - the streets near and to the cabin are typically plowed effectively during winter snow. It is recommend that guests have the necessary equipment to drive in winter conditions.

Our cabin is nestled in the trees between the town of Packwood and White Pass Ski Resort.

Enjoy 3 covered decks, two upper and one lower, and a covered front porch

There are electric heaters throughout the cabin, but if you prefer there is also plenty of wood within arms reach in an under stair storage closet to stock the woodstove and keep things really toasty.

A large game room upstairs has a ping pong/pool table, and large screen TV.

The cabin has an wonderful cedar interior with spalted maple cabinets and live edge counters

The soaring ceilings, exposed beams, and large windows looking out toward Mt. Rainier National Forest, all help you to relax and enjoy the natural beauty around you.

Welcome to Our Mountain Home: the perfect space for a family get-together, a romantic getaway, a reunion of friends, and everything in between. It offers bright vaulted ceilings, a fully stocked kitchen, a wood-burning stove (also central heat and AC), a well-maintained hot tub, and gorgeously landscaped grounds. Just minutes from Packwood town center, it is an ideal gateway to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mount Rainier National Park, and White Pass Ski Area. We can't wait to host you!

While the inside space and hot tub will make you feel right at home, the outside space is magical. Please plan to spend some time enjoying the sights and sounds of nature from the beautiful covered patio, build a fire in the pit with provided wood, and pause.

Our neighborhood is very quiet and nestled in the forest in the upper Timberline neighborhood. Elk are the most frequent visitors. From the house there are quiet gravel roads that can be walked. The town of Packwood is very sweet with 300 year-round residents. It is about 5 minutes west on Hwy 12 and has a quaint food market, liquor store, a few artisan shops, a coffee shop, a brewery, a tavern, and a restaurant or two. We always recommend doing big shopping before you arrive. White Pass is about 20 minutes east for your winter fun.

You have full access to the main house (2 bed, 2 bath, & futon) and outside space including hot tub, covered outdoor entertainment area, fire pit and landscaped portion of the property. There is a garage on the premises that is off limits and periodically accessed by the owners.
