Located at 664 Westcott dr. The house has 2 bedrooms each with a queen size bed and a seasonal bunkhouse. It is separate from the main house (no bath) with a queen bed very private for those traveling with older kids or two couples. Suited for Summertime only.
Great room has sliding glass doors and windows looking over the bay bring the outside in. There's a super comfy couch, chair and bean bag.
We have direct tv to keep up with the rest of the world. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, blender and general supplies.
The bath is a tub and shower combo with a single sink, small but efficient.
There is a covered porch with propane grill, crab cooker and grill utensils. With outside seating for out long summer nights. We have a fire pit ready for marshmallows or hot dogs.
There is a dock that goes dry due to tide. There are 4 adult and 2 kids kayak's and paddle boards. And remember your well-behaved dog is always welcome with an additional fee.
House is not suited for CHILDREN UNDER 5 Due to gas burning stove is the main heat for the house and gets VERY HOT, as well as a medium bank with drop offs to be aware of.

Our 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath home was manufactured in 2001 was completely remodeled in 2014/2015 with custom finishes for the discerning traveler and the open design and high ceilings take advantage of the 1,300 square feet, providing a spacious home for you to relax in.

You'll enjoy spending time relaxing outside as the home has two large decks with morning sun in the front and afternoon sun in the back. The rear deck overlooks the back yard with landscape lighting at night, features a Patio table with 4 chairs, a Stainless Steel propane BBQ grill and leads to the private Hot Tub for even more relaxation. Inside there's a propane fireplace to keep you warm during the fall and winter evenings.

With our home located on a quiet private dead end road, this rural area and close proximity to the park often has visits from local deer.

Walk out the front door and in half a mile is the trail that circles Cascade Lake in Moran State Park. Rosario Heights is a wonderful place for hikers to hang their hats.

Nearby several trail heads are marked. Some of the park's trails are available to cyclists.

Enjoy a swimming beach not 2 miles away.

You can also hike or drive down the hill to Rosario Resort to find a waterfront beach near Cascade Marina, again not 2 miles from Rosario Heights.

Enjoy dining at the Mansion Restaurant at Rosario. In addition to this world class restaurant, there is an incredible lounge with a separate dining menu. Children are permitted in the lounge but not at the bar itself.

The Quinn Cottage is a lovely waterfront home nestled on a sunny, wooded acre of land looking across Harney Channel to Shaw Island. The famous San Juan Island ferries and a continual romantic parade of pleasure boats sail by the cottage’s view throughout the day. The south-facing exposure catches the sunrise and sunset as well as all the sunlight and warmth possible through the seasons. It is a perfect location.

The cottage is just two miles from the Orcas Island ferry landing and public dock and the quaint Orcas Village with a well-stocked country market, shops and eateries, the Victorian era Orcas Hotel and Restaurant, movie rentals, whale watching excursion boats, and kayak rentals. Also two miles from the cottage is Bayhead Marina with boat slips and an easy boat and kayak launch ramp. Lake Killebrew, a small public lake only one mile away, is fun for fishing, hiking, and exploration.

An abundance of wildlife can be enjoyed from this pretty seaside retreat: deer, rabbits, raccoons, otters, mink, seals, bald eagles, heron, and an endless variety of other sea, shore, and land birds. At low tide the rocks at the water’s edge offer hours of exploration for oysters, starfish, crab, small fish, octopus, jelly fish, and other sea creatures.

Kayaking from this side of the island is fabulous. Other islands, coves, beaches, and villages are all within easy paddle distances. Rental guests are given information and advice so they can create their exciting kayaking adventures.

The landscaped areas around the house have whimsical pieces of “exterior art” and other treasures. The acre of land beyond the house is covered with mossy knolls and sunny fields, creating a cushion of peace for the cottage. No road noise can be heard from this serene spot.

Enjoy a very private setting with expansive views of Swift's Bay, Thatcher’s Pass, Ferry Traffic and the Cascades from our special home.

The all cedar great room has a vaulted ceiling with comforting furniture, fireplace, large screen HDTV, Bose surround sound and uninterrupted views that leads to its own large deck looking southeast. The gourmet kitchen has Viking, Bosch, and Subzero appliances. The imported granite counter tops and sitting area lends itself to gourmet or casual cooking. You are very likely to see Eagles, Deer, Otters, Mink and Seals from all arears of the house.

From the great room enter a stunning sun room with fireplace, sitting and dining areas. Outside you will find a new built-in barbecue, separate outside sitting area, a spacious hot tub (could be unavailable in late fall and/ or winter if we have a significant freeze.). Enjoy 240 feet of private beach while gathering around an evening fire by the fire pit surrounded by natural log benches.

The large master bedroom has a separate deck looking Northwest to the ferry terminal and Spencer’s Landing Marina.

Downstairs is a guest bedroom and a separate office area with a Murphy bed. (Wireless High Speed internet throughout).

Constructed in 2018, the house is a cozy 1000 square feet with two bedrooms and a high end custom queen wall bed to the side of the living room. Full kitchen, washer, dryer and Internet access are all provided.

The jewel of the space is the views from the living area and bedrooms across Jackson Beach to the south. They're unobstructed and unforgettable.

You'll be located on one of the only saltwater rivers in the western United States, a fascinating natural oddity where fresh water melds with salt and then flows back with the tides.

The house also contains a display of tools and arrowheads found at the nearby archaeological site dating from 2,500 to 5,000 years old.

Other property owners have access to a nearby common areas but the guest yard and beach access is completely private.

I am happy to be available if you have any needs regarding the space, but otherwise you'll be left to your privacy.

Pets are welcome with the following policy:

1. Pets must be in control on the property and stay within the property lines (yard is not enclosed)
2. Pets must do no damage to the house.
3. Pets are not allowed to sleep on the beds as it is often very difficult to ensure every hair is removed.
4. All dog poop must be picked up from the yard, bags are supplied in the dispenser on the back deck.

There is one security camera on the property that covers the parking area and walkway to the front door.

A small collection of board games is provided in the living room for the family to enjoy. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs (spices are not always guaranteed) which includes an in-island cooktop stove and sub-zero refrigerator. The house has a very large master with king bed and luxury bath and the upstairs guest room has 2 double beds with bath. The living room sofa sleeps one and there is a first floor powder room. Plenty of driveway to park a boat trailer. This home is fully equipped and accommodating for the best vacation experience. The 1st floor primary bedroom with king bed has a small deck and patio door. - "This home is perfectly situated in the middle of San Juan Island - 15-20 minutes' drive from all points of interest on the island. The setting is private, serene, and beautifully landscaped. The owner has lovingly appointed this home with attention to detail inside and outside and has entrusted her guests with stunning artworks and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is a dream with every conceivable item you could possibly want to prepare a culinary masterpiece. We purchased fresh mussels from Wescott Shellfish Farms (order/pay online in advance and pick up the next day - pay attention to their hours) and found everything we needed to cook several other meals throughout our four-night stay. Neil Bay Hideaway is situated on little over an acre with views from living, dining, and recreation rooms of Neil Bay and Spieden Island. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom home has plenty of room for children and the family dog to play and romp in the fenced backyard and is conveniently located a short walk to the historic seaport town of Roche Harbor for fine restaurants, shopping, walking the docks, or playing on the beach at the isthmus.

Nice open floor plan so families can be together while cooking in the kitchen, playing foosball in the game room or watching sports on the 65" HD TV in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a separate dining room with a table and six chairs, plus two extra upholstered folding chairs for added seating. Don't worry about bringing salt and pepper. The owner tries to provide most spices you would need, along with olive oil, vinegar, etc. They even try to keep some coffee in stock.

The owners offer a wood burning stove in the recreation room and a fireplace in the living room. Wood is available at no charge on the property. Free internet and DirecTV is available. The primary bedroom is a king with a full bath and TV, the guest room is a queen with full bath, and the game room now has a sofa bed that can accommodate your children or adults.

Nearby activities include playing on the beach at the isthmus, swimming at the Roche Harbor pool for a nominal fee, taking a stroll through Roche Harbor’s sculpture park, kayaking, gin tasting, hiking nearby trails and parks, fishing, crabbing and exploring Roche Harbor and Friday Harbor.

During the warm island months, enjoy an evening dinner outside in the beautifully landscaped yard with the propane Weber BBQ grill and comfortable outdoor dining area. The fenced backyard is the perfect spot for your family pup to play or simply relax in the outdoor doghouse. Fire pits are not usable from May 1st-September 30th due to county burn ban and safety of property and neighboring areas. Ban is usually lifted October 1st if/when conditions and weather are favorable. Firewood is provided for off-season.

One house-trained, less than 65-pound dog per reservation with a pet fee. If a request for an additional dog is made, an additional fee will be assessed. Only two dogs maximum are allowed. Dogs are not to be left unattended. If a dog is left unattended and a neighbor calls to complain about noise or other disruption by the dog, renter will be charged a $200 fee. Pets are not allowed on furniture. Renter assumes responsibility for all extra cleaning needed such as emergency carpet cleaning, furniture replacement, and or emergency laundromat use for bulky items like comforters and pillows. - "Lovely house, well equipped, very modern and clean. Unfortunately, when booked the plan was to have five adults and a small dog. One of the adults got covid and had to bail out. The couple with the dog had travel issues and couldn't make it, leaving just my wife and I. All of that was bad enough then on our second day there my wife had a misstep (be careful of the step leading into the game room just inside the main entrance), she badly sprained her ankle such that walking was painful and difficult. She also strained some interstitial ribs muscle catching herself from the subsequent fall. Icing, taping, ibuprofen helped, but our plans to further explore the island were dashed. Rather than hanging around we figured convalescing and care for the ankle and rib muscles could be better handled at home, we were able to switch our ferry sailing day and departed a day early. Rather than three nights we were only there two nights. So a house large enough to comfortably accommodate six people only has two of us and our three night stay was truncated to just two night. In the end no matter how nice the house was (and it was very nice indeed) the trip was pretty much a bust."

Your Island home is part of a small close knit "homestead" community-originally a fishing camp at the turn of the century. Their are 3 full time neighbors and 3 ocassional weekenders-thus are home is more of place to go to savor the peace of the Islands. If having a good ole fashioned whoopee party on the deck until midnight is your idea of a vacation (and who doesn't like that occasionally) than this location is probably not for you. Sound carries and this home has neighbors. I have mult bird feeders around the yard and when one gets quite and still, birds of all sorts will fly right up to you, along with our resident Doug Fir squirrels, Island deer and raccoon although we ask that you not feed the deer or raccoons. River Otters frequently swim by the house! We now ALLOW one small fur baby. The dog must be no greater than 15lbs. The dog is not allowed in the backyard garden and is not allowed to run freely in the neighborhood. The dog is not allowed on the furniture (unless it’s on the deck) or bed. Strongly recommend getting the extra insurance when bringing a dog.

The San Juan Waterhouse is a uniquely beautiful vacation home whose spectacular west side shores of San Juan Island host rare privacy and unforgettable Orca whale watching. With dramatic views of Puget Sound, and the snowcapped Olympic Mountains, this waterfront home offers private vacation rental opportunities that are breathtaking in all seasons. Fourteen hundred feet of coastline on three acres, bordered by preservation land offers the most premier whale watching on the west side of San Juan Island. Orcas of the J, K, and L pod hunt migrating salmon along the shoreline, and on occasion sleep in our cove.

Built uniquely close to the shoreline, the Waterhouse is a very secluded, island home.
Custom built with much attention to creative details, enjoy a beautiful stone gas fireplace when ambiance and warmth are the inspiration. The fully equipped kitchen includes a professional Viking stove, a great invitation to the serious chef. A stainless propane BBQ on the deck makes outdoor cooking a breeze.

Multiple French doors, a vaulted ceiling and an open living space floor plan surrounded by windows provide customized comfort, and spectacular water views from all rooms including its two bedrooms.

There is plenty to do with the rocky coves and a private gravel beach to explore. Tide pooling is excellent. Bring your binoculars because bird watching is superb, with resident Harlequin ducks and the local Bald Eagle 'Rocky'. Watch fox, otter, and deer close by, or pack your favorite beverages, a great book and relax on a sandy haven directly in front of the house. Two well-furnished decks with outdoor seating, a picnic table and Adirondack chairs also beckon. A rocky fire pit is available, with the exception of May 1- September 30th when fire danger is high on the island. Best of all is whale watching as this stretch of shoreline has been identified by a Whale Museum biologist as a feeding area for Orcas. Watch whales pass by from the deck as their family groups come within a few yards of shore, hunting salmon.

Please note. Cars are limited to two, and are parked uphill, behind the house. The trail from the parking area to the house is a downhill grassy slope, that is somewhat rugged and can be challenging for some. Two big wheel wagons are provided to haul groceries and luggage. We are a no drone, no motorized bikes or scooter property. Old Johnson Rdwy is 1.2 miles of gravel road with sharp 90degree turns and is very quiet. Medium to high clearance cars are recommended. There are two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. The twin bedroom has the ability to convert the twin beds to a king bed.
A spacious deck offers an extended living area with outdoor modular sectional furniture. A gas barbecue is off the deck and easily accessible.

This studio suite is equipped with Wi-fi and a Smart TV so guests can log-in to their preferred streaming services.

Guests will find that one block from Acanthus Suites will bring you into the heart of downtown Friday Harbor, offering many delicious restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, ice-cream shops and art galleries, all within walking distance. On Saturday mornings the local San Juan Island Farmer's Market is a 5-minute walk from the Acanthus Suites!

The Acanthus House is one of Friday Harbor's first important historic homes. Built in 1913, it was a wedding gift for a wealthy merchant's daughter. It has been beautifully restored. Located in historic downtown Friday Harbor; only 3 blocks from the ferry dock and Port of Friday Harbor and is an excellent option for those coming to explore the island and have a comfortable place to rest at night.
