However, we did not love that the website was not updated to show that the restaurant was in fact closed. I am not blaming the hotel at all; it was like that for everything in the area. Once we got to West Yellowstone, it was the same situation. We booked it because of the restaurant and bar. But it is what it is there. We were told to check into one room, but once in we noticed that there were no towels. A quick text and we were off into another room. That was definitely not a deal breaker for us, and we loved the other room, too. The view...OMG the view is breathtaking and that alone is worth the stay there. The river is gorgeous, and the sunsets were out of this world. The hot tub was not full and stunk like ammonia, but we set it anyway! Nothing was going to keep us from having the time of our lives and making great memories. We will definitely be coming back. With a couple of tweaks on our end, we will have another great weekend! "

- "We loved the cabin we stayed in. It was clean, extremely spacious, easy to get to, working wifi, and parking close by. Based on the reviews I read before booking I thought I would share things I found in common or helpful. The property sent the email with information about our stay very promptly. However, because we booked only a few hours before checking in our name was not on the door. After looking, I found which cabin # was ours at the bottom of our receipt email from hotel.com. I do wish they would have given info in the email on how to get the key because to me it was not intuitive to figure out. If I hadn't been traveling with another adult that figured it out I would have needed to contact the property owners. It feels slightly deceiving the way the property is listed on hotel.com. It says in the overall description "with kitchen". However as I looked at the availabile properties for our nights stay it was clear only in pictures that not all cabins have kitchens. So I would suggest looking at the pictures of the specific cabin you are considering before booking your room to make sure the amenities are to your expectations. The space
I leave town for several months at a time for work so you will be staying in my personal bedroom which I’ve customized to be a private Airbnb room while I’m gone. It has a very comfortable queen bed along with an extra weighted blanket :) There is also lots of classic rock/heavy metal memorabilia to look at if you’re in to that ;) The lamp by the bed has an additional outlet and usb charging ports. All living necessities such as cooking, bathing, and laundry are available. My home is old and isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing, hence the low price. Your room and the living room are kept spotless but the bathroom is my next project that needs remodeling so the upkeep is more difficult. We keep the shower as clean as we can but the older exterior makes it look less clean than it actually is. The main reason why the price is so low for the room is because of the work needed on the bathroom so please consider this before leaving your review but I promise your room will be clean and cozy :)

I typically watch TV when I get home late from work if I’m in town but you’re more than welcome to flip on the tube when I’m not home or if my roommates aren’t watching it. You can either log into your own streaming services account or you can use my Netflix or Hulu accounts. Just don’t add or remove anything from my lists on my Hulu and Netflix accounts :)

I will most likely be out of town working during your stay but if I happen to be here when you check in I’d love to meet you and answer any questions you have. You may run into another Airbnb guest if my other guest room happens to be booked as well. You are welcome to all living spaces in and outside of my home besides my roommate’s bedroom and the other guest room of course. Antonio does all of the upkeep while I’m gone and can also be asked any questions about any of the amenities. We also have a small friendly Husky named Allah :)

So please be mindful of my roommate Antonio and other Airbnb guests if the other room happens to be booked. Just try not to be too noisy, cleanup after yourself, and try to limit bathroom time since there is only one bathroom to be shared. Also, please close the shower window when finished showering and please keep the bathroom door open so others know when it’s not in use.

I take pride in not including deceptive cleaning fees or a deposit when my guests book, so please be very careful not to plug the toilet, stain your bedding, or damage anything else and I’ll gladly write you a good review to reflect your consideration :)

Also please try an recycle any hard plastics, aluminum cans, etc. There is a paper bag with a note above it in the kitchen by the trash can.

The amenities of the house are old but still work. Feel free to do a load of laundry if you need and I’ll have detergent and dryer sheets available in the cabinet right above the dryer. If you have any questions on using and/or operating the washer/dryer, toaster oven, coffee maker, TV, kitchen accessories, or any other accessible amenities feel free to message me and I’ll respond as soon as I can or ask Antonio if he’s around :)

NOTE: Your room does NOT have transparent windows that can be opened. I purposely put black bags over them to block the sunlight for deeper sleep when I stay in my room so please don’t tamper. There is an ionic air filter in your room that has fan settings as well to make up for it if you’d like some ventilation.

Quick access to Boise, Kuna, Meridian, or Nampa. Private entrance suite off the back of the house. There are no internal shared spaces. Off-street parking. Queen bed and bath/shower. Step out to fresh air on the patio, stay in and stream movies on the 4k TV, or log into wifi and get some work done .

The space
When you find the house that looks like our profile picture, you'll know you have arrived at the correct place. We have off street parking on the far left of the driveway and additional space across the street. Entrance to the suite out back is thru the side lawn and gate. If you arrive late the motion sensor lights will light your way.

There is a very large patio outside the suite. You normally have it to yourself, but sometimes we come out to share the fresh air. There is a small propane fire in the center of four lawn chairs. Ask and we'll show you how it works.
Most of our guests really enjoy listening to the sounds of the water in the canal and watching the various birds that come into our yard, especially in the spring. Open your windows at night or in the morning and it sounds like you are camping out. There is a large patio table and chairs which works great for eating outside. Many of our guests buy fast food and bring it back and eat outside at the table when weather permits. There is a natural gas grill on the upper patio you can use anytime, just let us know if you need some BBQ utensils and we'll show you how the timer works. There are fans on the porch to help keep it cool on hot summer nights. The entrance to the suite has a sliding glass door with a sign on it, so you can't miss the entrance. It says "Back door guests are the best."

The bed is queen. We splurged on a highend mattress. A good night sleep is important to us. The thickness of bedding changes with the seasons. There are 2 down feather pillows and 2 gel cooled pillows. Take your pick or use them all. We've added a space heater for those who want it warmer than 70 degrees. There is a luggage rack for easy unpacking. On the bedside table is a lamp and an Amazon Dot. A large window and a sliding glass door give maximum flexibility to the amount of light and fresh air you desire in the space. Open the room darkening drapes to let the light in; or keep them closed to darken the room for sleeping.

In the far corner of the room is a sturdy oversized chair and a closet with extra bedding. For those who need a teddy bear to sleep with, there is one on the dresser. There is a food tray on the bed in case you're having snacks.
We have central heating/air; and have added a ceiling fan for optional comfort. The bedroom has a large dresser with plenty of drawers, a mirror and a lamp. The closet has plenty of space for clothes; and stores a few board games and a baby's pack in play in case you need one. There is a microwave and minifridge in the space. The minifridge is oversized and has an ice cube tray. We have a 40" 4k TV on a swivel mount for easy viewing throughout the room. We provide access to our Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney+, Vudu and local TV channels. We try to keep a few snacks and popcorn so you'll have a midnight snack without needing to go to the store. We put a couple of bottles of water and a few soda pops in the fridge.

There is a small dropleaf table with two extra chairs, a Keurig coffee pot and a variety of flavored coffee to choose from. The drop leaf table works well for a workspace and for door dash meals. In the hallway between the bedroom and bathroom there is a trashcan and laundry baskets. The door behind the trashcan remains locked. It goes to the owners unit. There is no access between the owners unit and the airbnb.

A large bathroom counter with a wall mounted blow dryer makes it easy to get ready for the day. We keep a basket of toiletry samples in case you forgot something. The water closet has a tub shower combo with an extra handheld wand. We have soap and shampoo in case you forget yours. The towels are hidden behind the door next to the safety grab bar.

Our Airbnb allows a maximum capacity of 2 adult guests and 1 child up to the age of two. Our sprinklers turn on at 1:00 a.m. each evening in the summer. If you arrive late; expect that you might encounter sprinkling. We have a strict no pet policy due to our severe allergies and asthma.

The space
This is a clean comfortable house with a master bedroom that comes with a king size bed and two queen size beds in the other two rooms. The master also has a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom.

The house has a large living room with a sitting arrangement that can comfortably sit 6, and a large ultra high definition television that is ideal for movies or sporting events.

The living room, master bedroom and one of the extra rooms have smart TV's with popular streaming applications already installed: Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. We also have sizable backyard and a patio area that was set up to be a nice hangout space.

Feel free to use the fully equipped kitchen, the dining room, the washer and dryer. I just ask guests to purchase their own detergent.

The main house is a beautiful Craftsman-style home with a courtyard entry surrounded by beautiful landscaping with many trees, birds, and squirrels. The suite is cozy and comfortable, with a king-size bed, outfitted with luxurious linens providing the best sleep ever! In addition, several amenities such as free Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee, tea, extra towels, and blankets are provided.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe for solo travelers. The best thing about our location is that you have quick access to Boise, Meridian, and the surrounding areas.

There is no parking on the street. For guests, we have a dedicated parking space for one vehicle. Please inquire with the host about additional parking requirements for multiple cars, trailers, or moving vans/trucks.

Other things to note
Please let the host know if there will be more than one vehicle or a trailer with you during your stay. We provide complimentary parking for one vehicle in the driveway. The subdivision's HOA doesn't allow parking on the street or additional cars or trailers. Additional accommodations will need to be made for an extra car or trailer.

There is a $25 cleaning fee for oil spills or debris left on the driveway.

This private studio apartment is adorable and bright, with lots of windows, and an incredible location near downtown Boise, BSU and St Luke’s hospital. There is one odd thing about the layout: The detached private bathroom is across the shared corridor (~3 steps down the hall), it cannot be accessed from the studio. It is a private locked bathroom only for this room, but you have to leave the room to access. Chances are slim you will run into one of the other 3 tenants in the hallway. Unit 1!

The space
You’ll enjoy this studio apartment with one queen bed, small dining/work table for two and kitchenette (includes fridge and microwave but no oven/cooktop). The studio has a detached private bathroom that is across the shared hallway (~3 steps down the hall). There is a key hanging by the front door for the bathroom.

The building is a hundred year old mansion converted into a 5-plex at some point in its history. Due to its prime location, there is some traffic noise. We stock earplugs by the bed, just in case you are a light sleeper.

Other things to note
There are four first come first serve parking spots on the left hand side of the building and in front of the building. Please limit one car per booking and please make sure not to block any cars in. The lot may sometimes be full. The property is very walkable, and there are Bird and Lime scooters peppered around the city that can be great for getting around too.
