This 2 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom cottage sits high on the hillside in the Clearwater subdivision at Tamarack resort. Clearwater Cottage 87 is great for year-round activities, as the lake provides boating and water fun, while a variety trails entertain hikers and mountain bikers, and of course Skiing, snowshoeing, dining, shopping, and everything else Tamarack Ski Resort has to offer. The mixed use path is just outside the cottage and will take you to the Main ski lift and Buttercup ski lift.
The cottage lies at the top of a grand stairway. Take in the scenic views of surrounding trees and Lake Cascade. The cozy living area has plenty of seating options, access to the outdoor deck, and a sofa sleeper that offers extra sleeping space. Feel at home with WiFi and a flat-screen TV with DVD player. A washer and dryer are available as well.
The fully equipped kitchen allows a chef to whip up anything from a tasty treat to a scrumptious meal. There are updated black appliances and granite countertops. A built-in breakfast bar provides seating for 5.

Brand New! Have fun at our waterfront property that's the adventure's dream! Away from the main streets, we are located right at the trailhead of West Mountain "No Business" section and only 11 minutes from Tamarack Ski Resort. There are limited properties to offer what we have so enjoy looking out at the lake while sitting in the beautiful Hot Tub surrounded by trees under a covered deck! Big picture windows let you enjoy the view and keep your privacy. King and Queen beds with hand-crafted furniture and the living room has top-grain leather recliners all looking out at the lake! Let's go Relax!
We have a covered carport to keep the weather off your vehicle with a huge drive-in and drive-out driveway for those with long trailers! Perfect for those who bring your boat, snowmobile, or other trailer up to 40ft long. The garage is locked for owner use only. There are two large picture windows to see trees, the lake, and the mountains all year. The reservoir is either rising in the spring or reseeding as the summer progresses and by the end of August it becomes a beautiful prairie with a river flowing through. Peak times that the lake is full are around the end of May to July. Each month offers a different but amazing view as noted below. Tamarack Resort is just 11 minutes away south of the property. We also have a portable inflatable queen mattress with a built-in pump (located in the king bedroom closet) that can be placed in the living room if you need a max of 5 people. For families with children, we have a baby gate for the top of the stairs and a Pack'n Play crib.
During the summer months, we work with Valley County Mosquito abatement, and they fog the area often in the summer. We are on the non-motorized side of the lake so it is much more private, and you will see paddle boarders and kayaks out on the lake in the summer. The boat launch is about 1.5 miles south of the property for Rainbow Point and there are two other launches nearby. The trailhead for West Mountain is right around the corner for those who enjoy ATV, Side by Side, and Dirt bikes.
In the winter the roads are plowed by Valley County, and we have a private snow plowing company as well for around the driveway and do our best to keep it plowed. Our snowmobiling is amazing so plan to come back in the winter as well. The rental company is only one mile away and we can arrange a discount so you can contact us first. Buttercup Ridge has an exceptionally private covered back patio, and it's the perfect place to start your day with coffee and the sounds of nature; you can also have a cookout on the gas BBQ grill. A soak in your private hot tub is the perfect way to après or unwind after a day on the mountain. FYI This property does NOT have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort, and we recommend opening windows in the evening and closing them during the day.

Guests will have access to a one-car detached garage, and the driveway can accommodate one additional car. For Guests with over-sized vehicles or boats, parking permits can be purchased from Tamarack Outfitters for the Aspen Parking Lot. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

We have a VERY short summer season in our beautiful mountain town, which unfortunately means a very compressed window for home and road construction. While we try to update listings to reflect neighboring construction, we don't always have notice to keep guests informed prior to booking. If you're booking during the warm weather months and with all of the new building happening in Valley County, it's safe to assume there may be some type of construction work happening nearby your property--while we know it's a huge inconvenience and definitely impacts the tranquility of your getaway, we unfortunately have no control over neighboring construction and are unable to provide refunds due to construction sites or construction noise on neighboring properties. Please always reach out with questions, parking concerns, or quiet hour complaints!
Please note that we do not make exceptions to the cancelation policy agreed to at the time of booking--this is to maintain equity for all guests. Pets: Not all properties are pet friendly. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES) Where allowed, pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. You get a mountain experience with this place, for sure. "

The second-floor office/loft combo features a futon, making it a versatile space for work or extra guests. Gather for games, enjoy your favorite shows, get some work done, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
Outside, the home is surrounded by evergreen trees on a quiet street and has a large deck with seasonal BBQ grill for outdoor enjoyment. Blue Haven also offers parking for trailers and recreational vehicles, making it ideal for adventurers bringing toys along.

You will have access to the Buttercup trail system and lift for your hiking, biking and winter adventures. During the winter months, go on a snowmobiling expedition starting right at the house. Luckily, if you don't have your own, you can rent one from the nearby Mountain Meadow Adventure Rentals. In the summer, ATVs, UTVs, and dirt bikes will thrive in the area. Fishing enthusiasts will love the Tamarack Falls Fishing Bridge roughly a mile away, where you can cast a line year-round.

The space
Our waterfront property is the adventure's dream! We are located right at the trailhead of West Mountain "No Business Road" and only 11 minutes from Tamarack Ski Resort.
Away from the busy streets and roads in a secluded section of the subdivision. There are very few lots with this experience so come and enjoy! We have 2 beautiful bedrooms with handcrafted furniture and 1 bathroom house. We have a covered carport with a huge drive-in and drive-out driveway for those with long trailers - 40ft max in case you have a boat, snowmobile, or other trailer. There are two large picture windows to see trees, the lake, and the mountains. The reservoir is either rising in the spring or reseeding as the summer progresses and by the end of August it becomes a beautiful prairie with a river flowing through. Peak times that the lake is full are around the end of May to early July. Each month offers a different but amazing view as noted below and at times you can walk to the lake and other times you cannot, so please contact me if this is a concern or an expectation. Tamarack Resort is just 11 minutes away south of the property. We also have a portable inflatable queen mattress with a built-in pump (located in the king bedroom closet) that can be placed in the living room if you need a max of 5 people. For families with children, we have a baby gate for the top of the stairs and a Pack'n Play crib. Did I mention we have a fire pit? We supply a few camp chairs where you can bring over to the fire pit and enjoy such an incredible view.
We are located on the non-motorized side of the lake so it is much more private, and you will see paddle boarders and kayaks out on the lake in the early summer. The boat launch is about 1.5 miles south of the property for Rainbow Point which also has a few small beaches and there are two other boat launches nearby. The trailhead for West Mountain is right around the corner for those who enjoy ATV, Side by Side, and Dirt bikes. Do you like to fish? Our famous fishing bridge is one mile down the road.
In the winter the roads are plowed by Valley County, and we have a private snow plowing company as well for around the driveway and do our best to keep it plowed. Our snowmobiling is amazing so plan to come back in the winter as well. The trail head to West Mountain is around the corner making it an unbeatable place to stay! If you need to rent then the rental company is only one mile away and we can arrange a discount so contact use before renting.
Although we have a "NO PET's" allowed policy, for Service Animal's are welcome of course as we comply with Airbnb, State and Federal Laws. We do ask you to respond in the message area the following two questions: Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? This will help prevent an unpleasant stay in case our cleaners see dog hair ect..

We have a VERY short summer season in our beautiful mountain town, which unfortunately means a very compressed window for home and road construction. While we try to update listings to reflect neighboring construction, we don't always have notice to keep guests informed prior to booking. If you're booking during the warm weather months and with all of the new building happening in Valley County, it's safe to assume there may be some type of construction work happening nearby your property--while we know it's a huge inconvenience and definitely impacts the tranquility of your getaway, we unfortunately have no control over neighboring construction and are unable to provide refunds due to construction sites or construction noise on neighboring properties. Please always reach out with questions, parking concerns, or quiet hour complaints!

FUNCTIONAL FLOOR PLAN
The open concept main level is DESIGNED for entertaining, with seamless flow across the living room complete with a natural stone fireplace, spacious kitchen anchored by a large island, and gorgeous rustic dining table. Not only will you be bathed in natural light from the floor to ceiling windows and double glass sliders that overlook the wraparound deck, you'll truly feel like you're in the mountains with the natural finishes, including tongue and groove vaulted pine ceiling and concrete countertops. The kitchen has abundant storage and stainless KitchenAid appliances, including a 6-burner gas range and spacious French door refrigerator.
The main level also includes a powder room, a mudroom with hooks/storage for all of your gear, and a laundry room with Whirpool full-size front load washer and dryer off the 2-car attached garage.
PRIMARY BEDROOM
After a day on the slopes enjoy the comforts of your log canopy King bed with its own private ensuite, complete with dual vanities and a walk-in shower with a river rock floor. The primary bedroom also has a slider with access to the wraparound deck. Please note the primary bedroom closet is locked off, but there's a hanging bar for wardrobe items, as well as a large dresser.

Located on the 2nd floor, this guest room offers a queen-sized bed with a log frame, as well as an exceptionally spacious closet.

Also located on the second floor, you'll find another queen-sized bed with a log frame. This room comes equipped with a smart TV.
LOFT BUNKS
A fun space for kids or those needing to crash, the loft built-in twin/twin bunks provide two cozy extra sleeping options. There's room for storage in the built-in drawers under the bottom bunk. There's also a full/twin trundle for those who may want to sleep closer to the ground. Be aware these beds are not in a bedroom, but are in a loft that overlooks the main level.
OUTDOOR LIVING
We absolutely LOVE Knotty Pines' wraparound deck, especially the outdoor fireplace! Enjoy meals on the patio and feel free to take advantage of the charcoal grill (charcoal not provided). A soak in your private hot tub is the ideal way to après or unwind after a day on the mountain (seating for 4).
Knotty Pines is especially ideal for those traveling with toys, as there's ample space in the two-car attached garage. There are also RV hookups (electric and water) if you're traveling with a rig, as well as plenty of driveway space for trailers, snowmobile, boats, etc.
Lake access from Lake Cascade State Park (West Mountain) is about a 5-minute walk from the home, with several other lake access points (including a boat launch at Poison Creek) within a five minute drive.

Guests will have access to the attached two-car attached garage, and the driveway can accommodate several additional vehicles, including recreational vehicles/boats

We have a VERY short summer season in our beautiful mountain town, which unfortunately means a very compressed window for home and road construction. While we try to update listings to reflect neighboring construction, we don't always have notice to keep guests informed prior to booking. If you're booking during the warm weather months and with all of the new building happening in Valley County, it's safe to assume there may be some type of construction work happening nearby your property--while we know it's a huge inconvenience and definitely impacts the tranquility of your getaway, we unfortunately have no control over neighboring construction and are unable to provide refunds due to construction sites or construction noise on neighboring properties. Please always reach out with questions, parking concerns, or quiet hour complaints!

The parking lot is monitored by Security both in their vehicles and by cameras.

Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed.
Pets: Not all properties are pet friendly. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES) Where allowed, pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay.
