A spacious oasis right on seasonal (June - July only) Lake Cascade, this three-bedroom home features beautiful architectural details like slanted wood beam ceilings and artisan mosaic work. You'll feel like you're at your own private lake lodge, with luxurious touches throughout this lovely space. For some of the best lake views in the house, you'll want to spend time in the attractively decorated living room. Leather sectional sofas, an ottoman, and overstuffed chairs are placed strategically around the large, open room. Track lighting provides a soft ambiance for settling back and enjoying this homey space. Great views of the outside can be had from any seat and there is a large glass door leading out to the deck. Loaded with country-chic charm, the open kitchen boasts hardwood floors, granite countertops, and a unique tile backsplash. What’s nearby:
In the summer, the lake is definitely the place to be! There's fishing, boating, kayaking and just think; you'll have a front-row spot for all the adventure. Golfing is less than 15 miles away on the other side of the lake at Tamarack Resort. If you're feeling a bit daring, you can even take a zipline tour of the area. Come wintertime, the Donnelly area transforms into a seasonal wonderland of skiing, sledding, sleigh rides, and snowmobiling. There are a number of restaurant choices in town, but a little farther north in McCall, you'll find everything from microbrews and burgers at the McCall Brewing Company to upscale Italian outdoor dining at Romano's Ristorante. McCall also has plenty of shopping, galleries, and entertainment options, but before long you'll certainly want to head back to your wonderful lakefront getaway.

In early August, the water level depletes in front of this property and often drops down to 1' at which point the dock and lake become marshy, shallow, and unusable. Our Rock Creek Cottages are located just steps away from The Lodge at Osprey Meadows and a short walk to The Village at Tamarack and the base of the mountain. They sit along the Nordic trail and some offer direct ski-in/ski-out access via the Poma lift.

Surrounded by natural landscaping, these two-story, 1,250 sq ft. units feature vaulted ceilings with natural beams, granite countertops, hardwood floors as well as a stone gas fireplace. Outside you will find a private deck with a hot tub and propane BBQ for your enjoyment.

On the first floor of the cottage, you will find a fully stocked kitchen capable of serving up to six people. The living room offers plenty of room for entertaining, warming up by the fire or winding down after a long day on the mountain. The Master Bedroom features a large jacuzzi tub as well as a shower, the washer and dryer are also located here.

The second floor also has a master bedroom with an en suite bath, making these the ideal mountain haven for families or friends.

Encore Cottage is located on a quiet cul de sac in the Golden Bar neighborhood, with SKI IN access from Lower Encore located DIRECTLY in front of the property! It also has direct access to hiking/biking/groomed Nordic trail systems, and is a quick jaunt to the Village in the summer. One of the few cottages that sleeps 7, it's super well-equipped for families or groups looking for a Tamarack homebase that offers both comfort and utility. Maximum occupancy is 7 people.

Guests will NOT have access to the garage, but the driveway can accommodate two cars. Guest parking is also available nearby. The ski-out trail is directly adjacent to the property, and Tamarack Express chairlift is approximately 200 meters away. A separate ski-in trail drops you right off at home.

We have a VERY short summer season in our beautiful mountain town, which unfortunately means a very compressed window for home and road construction. While we try to update listings to reflect neighboring construction, we don't always have notice to keep guests informed prior to booking. If you're booking during the warm weather months and with all of the new building happening in Valley County, it's safe to assume there may be some type of construction work happening nearby your property--while we know it's a huge inconvenience and definitely impacts the tranquility of your getaway, we unfortunately have no control over neighboring construction and are unable to provide refunds due to construction sites or construction noise on neighboring properties. Please always reach out with questions, parking concerns, or quiet hour complaints!

Other Things to Note

Ski in/out property!

Home does not have AC (We recommend opening windows at night and closing down home during the day to try and keep it cool, and there are ceiling fans to circulate the air)

Property is in the mountains so you will need to bring sunscreen and bug spray. Also, even in the summer evenings can be chilly so bring an extra layer.

Tamarack Resort has all Natural Landscape – meaning you will see grass, weeds, trees, wild flowers, brush, bugs, and wildlife.

During winter months we receive up to 300 inches of snowfall so please be prepared for ice, snow, and winter driving conditions.

The Resort is currently under construction so please excuse our mess.

Snow Pine is a delightful 1,250 SF. cottage perfect for family and friends alike. The cottage has two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and will comfortably sleep 9. As you walk up the long pathway with steps that lead to the front door you’ll be surrounded by the natural mountain landscape. The house has a kitchen with full-sized appliances and is stocked with your basic meal preparation needs. If relaxing is in your cards, sit on the natural stone hearth next to the propane fireplace, or step outside onto the deck and lounge in the patio chairs. After a fun-filled day there are two bedrooms to choose from to rest up in. The Master Bedroom has a King sized bed, and an ensuite bathroom. The other bedroom is located upstairs and has a bunkbed with a queen-size bunk on the bottom, a twin-size bed on the top bunk. There is also a Queen Sofa Sleeper in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with the basics, has full sized stainless steel appliances, granite counter-tops, and the granite island serves as a unique dining table. Relax by the beautiful natural stone fireplace in luxurious leather furnishings, or head out to the deck and enjoy the outdoor atmosphere. Tamarack Cottage

This modernly rustic cottage, perfect for all kinds of groups, has everything travelers could want on a mountain vacation. A cozy fireplace keeps the home toasty in the winter, and the outdoor fire with log seats is perfect for relaxing in the summer. Cook the perfect meal on the gas grill out on the patio, where you can take in the magnificent views of Tamarack Ski Resort just outside the front door.

Skiers and snowboarders can't find a better location than this; this cottage is right on Tamarack Ski Resort, and guests can even ski in and ski out.

Our modern farmhouse-style cabin is nestled in the pines on the west side of Cascade Lake, for a peaceful, private Idaho mountain experience. Unplug and unwind by the firepit, listening to the heavenly sounds of the year-round mountain creek and crackling fire. 3 bed/2 bath has king, 2 queens, and full pull out couch. Modern kitchen, living, and laundry room. Myrne Lane is across from Buttercup boat ramp, 1 mile from Tamarack Resort entrance. Lots of parking for your vehicles, UTVs, trailers!

The space
Primary bedroom has comfy king bed and own bathroom with tub/shower. Two separate bedrooms each have queen bed. Second bathroom has tub/shower. Cozy living room has a full size sofa with pull out full bed and two lounge chairs. Kitchen is fully stocked and has dining table with benches that seats 6 comfortably. Separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
