This cozy hideaway is located on a working ranch (320 acres to explore)with a small spring creek running outside, so you can hear all the sounds of nature. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is your getaway. No one else lives on the ranch, but someone is usually around during the day.
You are just 2 miles from Clyde Park where there is a local grocery store, coffee shop, bar, post office and gas station. Livingston is 30 minutes away and Bridger Bowl Ski area is about 20 minutes.

The Luxe Cottage was purchased in 2022 by owners who are passionate about Montana, the outdoors, and all that Bozeman and the surrounding area has to offer. The condo is fully furnished with modern furniture and is stylishly designed for ultimate comfort with aesthetic brilliance.

The condo is designed for shorter visits and ideal for 30+ day stays, not to be confused with a month to month leased property. The Luxe Cottage is perfect for remote workers, families in between homes, divorcees who are looking for more than 30 days, or vacationers who are looking to experience, explore and enjoy Montana for any length of time. The condo is fully furnished with high end furniture, linens, kitchen appliances and home fixtures.

The main floor boasts a fully stocked kitchen, dining room table for 6, cozy living room area with a large smart TV and powder bathroom. Light filtering automatic shades and under cabinet lighting keep the space warm and inviting.

Both the master and guest king bedrooms, laundry room, and designated office room are upstairs. Both walk in closets have ample storage space with hangers. The master bedroom has a small balcony overlooking the Gallatin Mountain Range. All three rooms have large smart TVs and automatic room darkening shades. We provide basic cleaning supplies and laundry soap for the stackable washer and dryer.

When the weather permits, the sunny and southern facing outdoor patio area is divine! The dining room chairs are made of a composite plastic durable for both outdoor and indoor use. Lounge on the outdoor couch set, play some outdoor games or get cozy in front of the gas fireplace. We provide a BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. Propane refills are available upon request for a fee.

Bozeman and the surrounding area make for the ultimate outdoor playground. Winter time activities include downhill skiing at Bridger Bowl (a short 15 minute drive) or Big Sky (an hour drive), cross country skiing out the back door close to miles of groomed trails, driving to Lamar Valley in Yellowstone Park for wildlife viewing, and snowmobiling. Summer activities include hiking in the surrounding mountain ranges, fly fishing on the Madison or Yellowstone River, listening to live music on main street or in one of the many outdoor and indoor venues, road cycling or mountain biking, and much more. This guest cottage is a new addition on our property, next door to our main house separated by a privacy garden wall.

Upon your arrival, you'll drive in from the main road to a parking lot in front of the cottage. We run an arborist business, and we park some of our equipment in a portion of the large front parking lot. That said, the space you'll have to park can accommodate up to 3 vehicles.

You might be greeted by our dog Raven. Her bark is misleading - she's a real sweetheart and is giving you a warm welcome! If anyone in your group is uncomfortable with dogs, please let us know so we can accommodate.

We respect your privacy, and we want to prioritize your peace and quiet! If you need anything or have questions, just call or text and we'll be happy to help.

With a wraparound porch and large living spaces, you'll have plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Our guest guidebook will give you all the details you'll need to take full advantage of the cottage and property, as well as suggestions for our favorite sight-seeing spots, restaurants, and adventures. You don't even have to get in the car to walk over to the Bozeman Hot Springs next door a favorite spot to relax and rejuvenate in the area. The coffee pot cafe is also a very short walk and excellent breakfast are served there.

The cottage features two main sleeping areas. The loft area upstairs and the main bedroom downstairs. The downstairs bedroom has its own door and closet.
There is a full bath on the main floor. The living room also has a couch that can be easily converted to a twin-sized bed. We will provide linens for it upon request.
The upstairs loft is an open floor plan, it has a full bath with two vanities a tub and shower. It features two twin trundle beds with pull-out extensions. All of the beds except for the couch have proper mattresses, including the trundle bed extensions. We can provide an air mattress if needed, any group members beyond 6 will require an additional guest added to your booking.

You have access to the full property that the cottage is situated on, including the huge backyard and greenhouse! You'll be able to drive right up to the cottage, and we are next door on a separate plot of land separated by a driveway and privacy garden fence.

We value your privacy and expect that you'll return the favor. Still, it's ok to knock on our door. We're friendly people and will definitely say hello or wave if we see you around, just treat our home and yard like you would a next-door neighbor. Our workshop is not accessible to guests.

A few accessibility notes that we'd like to point out:

- The upstairs level of the house is accessed via a spiral staircase. Most people should be able to use the staircase perfectly easily, but it might not be suitable for people with significant physical challenges. We will confirm with you before you book that you are aware of the stairs.

- We have two baby gates available to block off the top and bottom of the staircase. They are easily removed if desired, but we like to put safety first and they'll be set up upon your arrival if you will need them.

- Climbing the railings on the loft or on the staircase is strictly prohibited.

- There is a 1 3/4" rise at the threshold of both the front and side exterior doors.

Oversize Samsung TVs are offered in every room, and movies in bed are encouraged. Each room offers remote black out shades that make sleeping in almost impossible not to do.

Close to downtown Bozeman as well as walking distance to hospital; (for traveling medical personnel) and right up the road from walking/biking trails, this stand-alone condo really has it all.

You can sit outside on the patio, wine glass in hand or set up your lap-top on the height adjustable desk in the upstairs office. The mountain views outside on the patio as well as from the office window are absolutely breathtaking. There is even a quaint balcony area outside the master where you can unwind after a busy day or enjoy that mug of espresso and watch the sunrise.

Surrounded by mountain views, close to downtown, shopping and museums, walking distance to bike and cross-country skiing, short drive to Bridger Bowl as well as Big Sky, neighbor to Yellowstone, fly-fishing, snowmobiling, hiking...the list goes on and on! We are close to everything Bozeman has to offer.

The space
Located near the small town of Gallatin Gateway, this rustic yet modern private cottage is between Bozeman and Big Sky. In 10 minutes you can be at the Iconic Stacey's Steakhouse for a Montana Steak or the Post Office Pizza for a quick meal.

The guest cottage is located on our 2.7 acre property and attached to the main house via a door between the 2 separate oversized garages. There is a private entrance for the cottage through a door from the driveway.

The A-frame, open floor plan cottage features a wall of windows providing fantastic views of the Spanish Peaks. It is a great basecamp for your Montana adventure: hiking, fishing, hunting, rafting, climbing, biking, skiing, or exploring Yellowstone. 15 miles from downtown Bozeman, 18 miles to the Bozeman Airport, 30 miles from Big Sky and 75 miles to the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. 3 miles to the Gallatin River, 25 miles to the Madison River, 45 miles to the Yellowstone River. 33 miles to Bridger Bowl, 36 miles to Big Sky Resort.

First floor bedroom with a Queen bed, large closet and ceiling fan. Full bath, laundry (washer and dryer), open plan kitchen, dining and living area also located on the first floor. There is a smart TV (no cable) and a desk area. Double French doors lead to a patio with picnic table, grill, and yard. A great place to enjoy the mountain views!

Hosts live on the property and have two medium sized dogs who will sometimes be outside in the shared fenced yard. Use of hot tub is not allowed.

The space
There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a small bedroom with a single bed. The upstairs bathroom is equipped with a small clawfoot tub. The large finished basement boasts a cozy TV room, full bathroom with comfortable shower, and laundry facilities. You have a long private driveway to park in that can fit multiple cars and/or RV, camper, etc.

Great access to: Biel Park, Community Food Co-op, MSU, bus stop, Main St., popular bars, amazing restaurants and numerous coffee shops.

Central to numerous hiking and cross-country ski trails as well as Bridger Bowl and Big Sky Ski Areas. The house sits only a 1.5 hour drive to the north and west entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

Other things to note
Pets are permitted depending on the nature and breed of pet. There is an additional charge of $75 for pets to be paid directly to Airbnb at the time of booking. IF YOUR PETS STAIN/RUIN ANY BEDDING, FURNITURE, OR RUGS YOU WILL BE CHARGED TO REPLACE THESE ITEMS! While we do our best to remove pet hair between stays, if you have pet allergies, please consider that this is a pet friendly Airbnb before booking!!

There is a 3 foot tall fence along with a dog park around the corner. Please clean up all dog poop in the yard or any messes created by your friendly companion. NO PETS ON THE COUCH OR BEDS, so please bring a dog bed along with a blanket to cover the couch and bed if they are used to being on either at home. There are additional duvet covers in the laundry room to be used to cover furniture to protect them from pets.

Other things to note
This cottage was built in the 1920's. It's very cozy and there is NO dining area.

The second bathroom, laundry, and a TV room are located in the basement. The stairs leading tho the basement are a bit steep but do have a railing. There is also a gate installed at the top of the stairs if needed.

In the winter, prior to arrival, the sidewalk and front steps will be shoveled. For shorter stays snow removal will be provided. For stays of a month or more, snow removal after arrival will be the guests' responsibility.

This 1940s traditional Montana cottage is the perfect retreat to experience life like a local. Private patio with hot tub, off street parking, and a safe neighborhood will help you rest easy at night.

The space
Our log home was built in 1940 and is as sturdy as it is unique - truly the essence of Montana. The downstairs bedroom offers a cozy queen bed and view of the backyard. Access to the upstairs bedroom does involve a moderately steep set of stairs, queen bed and a window overlooking our beautiful neighborhood.

The kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils and basic cooking essentials (salt, pepper, oil) as well as coffee and tea so you can enjoy cooking in for a crowd. If cooking isn't your passion, we're steps away from some of the best restaurants, breweries, and bars in town!

Other things to note
Note on Kids: This quirky cottage is not ideal for young kids. There are somewhat steep, open stairs, a super fun log pulley system for the upstairs loft door (that little ones might want to swing on), a gas fireplace in the living room, and no modifications to the electrical outlets. We love hosting kiddos but want to be up front that this could be a challenging space for parents with young ones!

Winter Time Note: It might come as no surprise but we can get A LOT of snow in the winter. It is absolutely beautiful and fantastic for skiing, but also lends itself to the occasional shovel. We will try our very best to shovel the driveway/sidewalk/front porch whenever snow falls, but guests might need to help with the occasional snow shoveling (on the bright side, there is no quicker way to feel like a local than to shovel snow with your neighbors!).

Summer Time Notes: New as of 2023: Air Conditioning has been installed in the house for full climate control.

Unlisted Amenities: The upstairs bedroom has a third bed tucked away in the alcove on the floor and is incredibly comfortable. We do not advertise this because we do not want to encourage (6) people staying in the cottage but we always have fresh sheets on this bed and are very happy when guests utilize it (kids especially seem to love it)! We also offer a TV in the attic, which has access to Netflix. We do not advertise this because we have found some guests are disappointed that there is no cable access provided so we prefer to air on the side of caution and not list the TV.

General: There is a basement apartment in the cottage that has a long term tenant. The apartment is accessed through a separate side entrance and has no access to the main cottage.
