Neighbourhood
The yurt is located high in the Gallatin Mountain Range, on the south side of Bozeman. The location offers sweeping vistas of the Gallatin Valley below and the distant Bridger Mountains. Relax amidst the natural beauty and breathtaking scenery. Wildlife such as deer, rabbits, elk, and bears often grace the vicinity, adding to the allure of the surroundings. Immerse yourself in the magnificence of the Montana mountains. Downtown Bozeman is just a short 15-minute drive away, offering convenient access to amenities and attractions.
Bozeman is known as “the most livable place” for good reason. Enjoy world-renowned fly fishing, and stunning mountains for hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, hunting, and backcountry exploring. Yellowstone National Park and abundant wildlife are also nearby. Don’t miss out on Bozeman’s city experience - explore the vibrant arts and culture scene with main street festivals, farmers markets, cultural centers, museums, symphonies, theaters, and art galleries. Downtown is where you’ll find cute coffee shops, great dining options, locally-owned boutiques, cool bars, and much more! Bozeman is where you will also find all of the essential services and stores, including groceries, pharmacies, gas stations, and more!
Getting around
There is free parking at the property. We recommend a 4WD vehicle in the spring, fall, and winter. The yurt is at the top of a mountain and while it is plowed, it is still a rough mountain road that can be icy.
You will require a vehicle to get around. While we do have Uber and Lyft, plus a free local bus service in Bozeman, you`ll need a vehicle to get to and from the yurt and experience all of Montana`s beauty.

- "Perfect spot for two friends to enjoy the outdoors and the amazing fishing the Gallatin has to offer. We loved the tent and outdoor shower and this was a perfect glamping experience. Will definitely return with my wife next year. Thanks Julie for an amazing stay." - "This is exactly what we were hoping for while in Montana! This property was hidden away and secluded, we had all the privacy we wanted along with a river to fish only 10 yds away. Sleeping at night with the fresh air, cool breeze and sound of the river highlighted a beautifully kept space. The king bed was fantastic, if I had any negative feedback it would be to upgrade the old Coleman stove/grill that we chose not to use with a new bbq/grill."

This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!
Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.
Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows
Firewood
Other Things to Note:
This is a Hike-in Campsite only. No motorized vehicles permitted on the property beyond parking area (*except those we use for providing service to the tent and guests.) There is parking for 1 vehicle at the property entrance.
Potable water is available near parking, but not at the tent site - we will provide a filled 5 gallon water jug at the site, just let us know if you need a refill.
Please do not cut down our trees or damage the landscape, we have firewood available for purchase as an extra. Respect fire restrictions when a fire ban is active.
We are in bear country and Bears are very active in the fall. Do not leave any food or toiletries out when you are not actively monitoring the campsite (anytime spent away or during sleeping.) We can provide a bear canister or recommend you keep food/toiletries in your locked vehicle at night.
Clean up after yourself and your pets.
No target shooting/hunting
No fireworks
Do not cook directly on wood stove.
*Drop off service available- see extras.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.
If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). If you have any questions regarding modifications to your booking, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support.

When you are coming here google doesn't work very well. So here Is the directions if you're coming from the north on highway 191. Drive past the entrance into Bozeman Hot springs. Now to the immediate turn lane on your right. That will put you on Lower rainbow road.
Then there will be two small houses on your left. pass those. Your now about 90 yards off the highway and there is a turquoise lane street sign and paved driveway also on your left. Turn in there. Now our shop will now be on your right. Drive Just past the shop you will see the camper on your right. park Infront of it still on the pavement. your there.
If you're coming from the south on Hwy.191, lower rainbow road will be on your left. It's about 50 yards before the Bozeman Hot springs sign which will be lit up if its night.
Turn left onto Lower Rainbow Road. Go past the two small houses on your left. You will be about 90 yards off the highway when you come to a paved drive that has the turquoise lane street sign by it. Turn left and drive in just past the shop. Now the camper is on your right. Park in front of it on the pavement.
Other things to note
The camper has an indoor kitchen complete with a gas range, microwave/ convection oven, refrigerator/ freezer. A well-stocked Keurig coffee maker.
Outside there is a grill, a slide out gas stove and a solo fire pit. There are Adirondak chairs for you to relax in.
For heating it has a gas furnace. There is a woodstove. However, you will need a lesson from us on how to use it properly.
There is a learning curve for that. This is where it gets truly western. This camper is actually a range camp designed for living off grid. They are also designed for working cowboys/ sheep herders and the like. Keep in mind these are people who are accustomed to an outdoor western lifestyle. They know how to use a woodstove. You shouldn't need it if you just need to stay warm. If it did get really cold while your here. We would let you cancel. That kind of cold weather is rare but does happen.
An awning can be pulled out in the summer if you like. If we get strong wind while you have it out you will need to stow it. You will have trees that block the afternoon sun. So, it's that helps keep thing cool. The camper has a two directional fan that helps with cooling.
