With free Wifi, this 2-bedroom vacation home provides a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and oven. Towels and bed linen are provided in the vacation home. The accommodation is non-smoking. Guests can also relax in the garden. This is a spacious 1980's Cottage has approximately 1000 sq ft, vaulted ceiling open floor plan 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that can accommodate 4 adults, or a small family of four. Due to the COVID Pandemic we are taking extra cleaning precautions and following the CDC and VRBO cleaning protocols.
The kitchen is fully stocked to make any size meal you may need. Feel spoiled using brand new electric oven and storing your cold and frozen goods in side by side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser.
The bedroom has a brand new King size bed with plush mattress. Updated linens and pillows are always a priority at our cottage.
The living room has a sofa, and two additional chairs for extra seating. There is a Murphy bed that converts to full size bed as well.
Large bath is complete with large walk in shower, plush towels, and complimentary toiletries.
The cottage has white birch flooring installed for that new cozy home feel, as well as easy clean up.
The cottage has a Xeriscape backyard. Saving water one day at a time! Complete with gas grill, contemporary fence, river rocks, "grass" that looks perfect all the time, and a couple chairs to enjoy quiet time. Please note the gate is about 3 inch gap between each rung, if bringing a small dog.

We offer high speed WIFI connection for our guests, which should make it easy to stream movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Peacock. The cottage has two TVs, one 70” smart TV in the living room and one 32” smart TV in the bedroom. Both TVs have around 51 digital HD channels and stream various providers.
The cottage has central heating and cooling system installed complete with smart EcoBee thermostat.
There is also a covered 1 car carport to the left of the cottage, and plenty of extra space for an RV, Trailer, boat in the field on the west side of the carport that you are free to use.
There is also a park one block from the cottage that has an off leash section for your furry friends! Guests should Be assured complete privacy when staying in the cottage. We love being able to host our guests and give them the best of the best.

Towels and bed linen are available in the vacation home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. This is the second cottage in this location. If you are traveling with another group check to see if the other unit is available. Like the original this cottage is decorated in a clean and modern style with lots of art. Many of the works are local artist; Ward Hooper and Evelyne Brigeois to name a few. We have provided everything you will need to enjoy staying in the cottage while you visit Boise including 1Gig, fiber internet! In any hotel the bed is very important. The pillow top mattress, down duvet, and high thread count cotton linens at the cottage make for a restful nights sleep without the luxury hotel price! In the bath you will find plush, long staple cotton towels. When we travel we have always appreciated these important touches and hope they will make your stay more comfortable at the cottage.

The front patio is a great space to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Most everyone waves or says hi as they walk by. If you would like a more private outdoor space the back patio is screened from the street and surrounded by landscape. It has a BBQ and teak table and chairs. Most everything you will need is on the main floor; downstairs there are laundry facilities and a reading space. The garage is currently not available.

- "I used this as my home base for a mountain biking trip. The location was perfect, very close to most of the trails. I liked the laundry capability as I often came home dirty from rides. The living area was comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities. Parking was easy on the street, which was quiet, and carrying things from the car was not a very far trip. I thought the shower/tub could use a non-slip coating on the bottom as it became very slippery when wet."

The kitchen has all the amenities for some fine home cooking or take the Pioneer walkway to a nice downtown Boise restaurant just a few blocks away. Walk across the footbridge into Ann Morrison Park. No parking issues with this vacation rental just blocks to the Boise Art Museum or Idaho Historical Museum. All these great attraction in walking distance. But if you are tired of walking, the cottage has a couple cruiser bikes ready to roll in any direction for fun.

House Rules:

*Quiet Hours are between 9pm – 8am.
*There cannot be more than 8 people in or on the property at one time and no more than 6 occupants overnight.
*We do offer late check out and early check in, when possible, for a modest additional fee for our cleaners. An unplanned late check out really affects our cleaner's schedule. If you do not arrange a late checkout in advance, there is a $55 fee. If you do not checkout by noon, you will be charged an additional night's stay.
*This is a non-smoking house. $500 smoke mitigation fee will apply if smoking of any variety is found.
*Please remove shoes when entering the home to protect the flooring and reduce dirt intrusion.
*1-2 well behaved dogs are allowed. There is a pet servicing fee of $45/pet. This is a one time charge that will be requested via the Airbnb resolution center after you have booked. Please remove any dog droppings and dog hair before checking out. If pet hair or waste causes additional cleaning expense the expense will be billed to you. If discovered any unauthorized pets will need to be immediately removed and a pet mitigation charge of $500 will apply.
*Events (like a baby shower, reception, birthday party, etc) are not allowed. Unauthorized events will be subject to a minimum charge of $1500. Additional charges for damage may also apply.
*Friendly reminder to please use the provided black towel for face make-up. So many of our towels and pillowcases are stained by oil based make-up and our professional laundry service can't even bust these stains. We appreciate you helping us conserve our linens.
*Sometimes it's hard to know what sound level is too much so we use a noise monitoring device. It won't invade your privacy because it does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it only monitors the ambient noise level (measured in decibels). If it goes off, it gives us a chance to warn you that your sound level is such that it could upset our neighbors.
*There is also a Ring camera system to monitor the outside of the home.
*If a failure to follow the house rules impacts the next guest's stay and causes us to need to discount or refund that next guest you agree to be responsible for the resulting cost.

What makes this mother-in-law suite special is that it is charming enough for a weekend getaway, and yet functional enough to stay for an entire month! Come try the simple life you've been hearing about on TV! I'm new to VRBO but this property has been a local favorite for 5 years and I'm a super duper host on other platforms! Chateau Ivan is a fully equipped, fully functional tiny house only a few miles from downtown Boise. The location provides ample privacy while keeping you near to the heart of Idaho's capital city. You'll have books, a projector and a kitchen inside, while outside you have hammocks, games, a BBQ, fire-pit and even bikes! Come give the tiny life a try before you sell all your worldly possessions, and enjoy your own private oasis!

Oh where to begin! This place is small but it has lots of features. I built it from about 60-70% reclaimed materials and often let them dictate the theme and layout. The space includes a fully stocked kitchen, living room, storage space, a full sized bathroom, a small office nook, and a bedroom that is up a steep staircase.

Here are some notes about each space:

Kitchen: I have provided all the essentials from plates and silverware to pots and pans. There is NO microwave. There are also some food items and spices you can help yourself to. The fridge is small but should be able to hold everything you need during your stay.

Living Room: The living room is a great place to kick back and relax and watch a show or movie on the projector! The coffee table lifts up to act as a dinner table with place mats in the storage area. There are also some cushions you can put on top so you can comfortably put your feet up. Help yourself to a book on the stair case and there are some games in the drawers under the stairs.

Bathroom: The bathroom is also stocked and ready for you! Help yourself to the soaps and shampoos and there will always be towels! The shower head is energy saving to help you take a longer hot shower with the 20 gallon tank. The decor is inspired by Mexico which is a country close to my heart. If you are feeling lucky feel free to try your hand at one of the 'balero' games on the bathroom shelf. Also, the little silver cup on the counter is an amplifier for your phone speaker... jam out!

The Office: This space is simple and meant to be versatile for you needs. You can store your luggage, charge your goods or get some work done! The choice is yours. The hot tub towels are located in the closet area.

Bedroom Loft: Access to the bedroom is up a steep, ladder-staircase so PLEASE be careful. The landing at the top allows you to turn around while coming down. Going up and down should always be done facing the staircase. Watch your head and enjoy the Purple mattress! If you don't know what that is, look up some of their YouTube videos and enjoy their clever marketing videos. Hopefully you enjoy the experience too. There is an oil diffuser next to the bed to help you zen out!

Outside: One of the best parts about a tiny house is it will inspire you to go outside! This can be in the yard and/or out into the local community. Outside you will find multiple spaces to enjoy. The hot tub set on the deck, the covered area with lots of seating, a fire pit area where you can cook up some of your child hood favorites, a Giant Jenga set, and a hammock up in the trees on the hillside (summertime). There is also a propane BBQ you can break out for some back yard grilling! I've also recently added cruiser bikes for you to take out on the streets and Greenbelt of Boise!

It's got everything you need... and nothing more... well maybe a little more.

Have fun with the whole family at this fully remodeled cottage. Our home was built in 1936. but we updated it from top to bottom. All new furnishings throughout. The North End is known for charm, tree-lined streets in a safe and warm environment. Our home is protected front and back with fencing so the kids and dogs can enjoy it too! If you like that “cottage feel” you will love staying here. While you are our guest, enjoy the whole property. Parking is easy in front of our home as well as access from the alley. We offer a pack n play, toddler floor matress and Bumbo seat for little ones. We have Vivint Smart Home to keep our home safe. Cameras are on front doorbell and backyard view to the alley. All emergency services can be obtained on the Hub just inside our front door (police, fire, medical).

A short drive up to Bogus Basin will lead you to many year-around activities including mountain biking, skiing and sledding. Nearby grocery store.

This comfortable and beautiful space has a queen bed in the primary bedroom with bathroom and walk in shower. The living space has a comfy couch to relax and enjoy. Washer and dryer for your use during your stay. Home is equipped with a/c and heater. Keyless entry. Private, usable backyard. There is a driveway to park one car, with additional street parking available. Cottage is situated behind main residence which is occupied.

Guest has access to entire cottage and fenced yard. The garage is reserved for owner storage. Main residence is occupied. You are welcome to park along the front of the home or in the driveway via alley but please do not block the alley.

The space
Modern and clean. Quartz counter tops and stainless appliances. Bedroom 1 has a door and its own heat/ac. In the main area there is a loft with a double size bed. The living room has a pull-out queen bed. Bathroom has a shower. Multiple windows to get all the views this amazing home has to offer.
Guest access
You can enjoy walking around the area on the farm dirt roads, and near the trees.
Access to loft over the bedroom, pull down ladder from roof. No access to loft over the front door.

Everything is fully furnished. Hot water and AC/Heat supplied through minisplit. Electric Fireplace also available.
