Tamarack Resort, in Donnelly, Idaho, is an all season, family-friendly ski resort– from skiing and snowboarding to mountain biking, whitewater rafting, zip lining, and more. Our luxury accommodations, diverse dining options and village amenities deliver a true mountain resort vacation. If you need any help planning or looking for adventure, your stay includes access to the resort pools, hot tub, sauna and workout facility at the Lodge at Osprey Meadows.

The Swimming Pools are open Memorial Day to Labor Day. The large outdoor hot tub, sauna and fitness facility are all open seven days a week.

There is a large parking lot at the resort entrance for RVs and trailers which is lit and has 24/7 security staff. Please do not park these at the home. OHV Rules & Regulations Inside the Resort, Tamarack offers endless miles of non-motorized trails for hiking and biking, with off-highway vehicle travel being strictly limited. OHVs are limited to Village Drive and resort parking areas, and are not permitted in residential areas. If you wish to drive an off road vehicle within the Resort you must register with Tamarack Security to receive authorization. Tamarack limits off road vehicle use to ensure a quiet, safe and peaceful residential experience. We provide complimentary parking for your trailers and toy-haulers in our Aspen Parking Area close to West Mountain Road. This is a convenient place to park larger vehicles and is a great place to start your adventure.

Reservation Terms: Full rent is due immediately unless a payment plan was pre-approved.

Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee.

Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed.

Pets: Not all properties are pet friendly. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES) Where allowed, pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized.

Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property.

Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately.

Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.

Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking.

Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture.

Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities.

Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage.

Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads.

Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee.

Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for "drain and fill."

Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues.

Capacity: Adhere to agreed-upon guest numbers.

Management is not responsible for the following: fires, smoke, algae bloom, water levels of the lake, lack of snow, abundance of snow, changing of the seasons, temperature highs, temperature lows, power outages, rain, mud, ice, etc. We are also not responsible for insects and/or animals (including: mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, bears, deer, mice, mountain lions, bobcats, any animals that get into trash, or their droppings.) With being located in the mountains, we do our best to prevent these issues, however there are instances where it is inevitable. There will be no refund for any of the above listed issues. - "Great accommodations very close to ski trail. Unit was immaculate and clean. No issues with check in or check out. Spa was GREAT every night after a day on the slopes. One issue to be aware of is unit is not ski in ski out all the time. Weekends and holidays the Buttercup chairlift is in operation but weekdays it is not. So weekends, the unit is ski in ski out but weekdays it is ski in, and a 1/2 mile hike to the Tamarack chair. There are short pockets on the hike that you can ski, but it is more hike than ski. Overall, a great experience!"

- "This is an absolutely stunning property. I'm not sure I can say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this gorgeous home. I will start by saying that we had a large group, but due to the generous size of the house and the thoughtful layout, we always felt like we had plenty of space. The house is incredibly well thought out for larger groups. Our teens mostly hung out upstairs in the TV/pool room when we were all the house, leaving the gorgeous living room to the adults. The house has absolutely everything you would need, including a truly fully stocked kitchen with fabulous thermador appliances, a high end coffee grinder and coffee maker, and wine fridge! The beds were incredibly comfortable with amazing pillows and comforters. The hot tub is very large and you have access to the garage to store your cars, bikes or skis. You could not ask for a more beautiful and serene setting. The house is in a very quiet location, so you feel far away from the world, but there is a hiking/biking trail very close that takes you to the resort. And although we were there in the summer, our group noted that there is easy access to the ski slopes as well. Last, it's clear that an incredible amount of thoughtful work went into the choice of furnishings and decor for this home. Every detail has been thought through. We absolutely plan to stay here again! "

Stay in this cozy, modern rustic lake house with stunning views of Lake Cascade and West Mountain, home of Tamarack Ski Resort! The home features an amazing array of amenities inside and out. Enjoy the views from the private hot tub or cozy up to the waters-edge fire pit, which is great for making smores. There is a kid’s climbing wall with an outdoor dining area featuring a Traeger grill!
Inside the home, you’re greeted with an open concept living room and kitchen with floor-to-ceiling windows and a propane fireplace great for relaxing or entertaining.
The bottom floor has three private bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. There is an Arcade Room complete with games including Pacman, Big Buck Hunter, and more! The gaming room also has a bunk bed and a PlayStation. Bring the kids and your inner child!
The upstairs has a private bedroom, a master bathroom, and a loft balcony overlooking the living room. There is also a Bunk Room with three bunk beds and four single beds. A spiral staircase leads down from the bunk room into the gaming room. The front of the house offers off-street parking with plenty of room for your boat, ATV, or snowmobile trailers, so feel free to bring your toys!

- "We got to stay here with our kiddos and some friends during our daughters spring break. Let me just say, if you’re traveling with kids, this is the place. There is SO much for them to do. We stayed here 3 nights and our kids didn’t ask for screen time even once. There are a ton of toys, old school arcade games, a zipline, a rock climbing wall with a hammock, the hot tub, tons of hiding places for a game of hide and seek. This place has it all. We spent hours everyday sledding down the hill in the back onto the frozen lake. It’s literally your own private sledding hill, and they have some fun sledding equipment to use! The view from the back of the house is insanely gorgeous and so peaceful back there. The sauna overlooking the lake is a dream. The house was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed kitchen and bathroom wise. The beds were all very comfortable and you could accommodate quite a few people with how many of them there are! The location of the house is awesome. It’s just a short drive into town or Tamarack resort. We did the sleigh ride to see the elk and rented snowmobiles while we were here, and both were very convenient to get to from the house. To top it all off, they allow pets so that made traveling a lot easier and more fun because we were able to bring our sweet pup. This house worked amazingly for families but would also be a ton of fun for an adult trip. It just suited our needs perfectly and we are so thankful to have been able to stay here! Worth every penny!"

If you love the outdoors you will thoroughly enjoy your stay at this mountain chalet. Great vacation spot for those looking for a weekend get away or longer to enjoy the year around activities. You will experience amazing views of Cascade Lake and the Tamarack Resort from two expansive wrap around balconies. Surrounded by Ponderosa Pines the chalet is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac providing outdoor privacy and is perfect for families, groups or those looking for a getaway.

The space
You enter the chalet directly into a large open floor plan featuring hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. The living area has a wood-burning fire-place with leather couches and large screen TV great for entertaining. The kitchen is complete with modern stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, center island, gas stove, oven, microwave, utensils, dining ware, cook ware and coffee pot. Located just off the kitchen is the dining area that seats six to eight.

In addition, on the main level are two bedrooms each with queen bed. One of the queen bedrooms has its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower. A separate pantry and wash/dryer are also located on the main level.

On the upper level is the master bedroom which features a queen size bed, private desk, gas fireplace, flat screen TV and walk in closet. Attached to the master bedroom is the master bathroom that includes dual sinks, walk in shower and large soaker tub.

The lower level provides access to another large expansive deck with access to the hot tub. It features a large great room with leather sectional couch, two additional lounge chairs and large screen TV. There is also a foosball table and additional beanbag chairs for additional seating. This area is ideal as an entertainment area for large or multi-families. An additional bedroom is located on the lower level with a full-size bed and a bunk bed that has two single beds. There is also an additional TV and small couch. This bedroom provides direct access to the outside deck and large semi-private bathroom.

The chalet is equipped with WiFi throughout and HDTV cable access in the main living areas, master bedroom and downstairs bedroom. The upstairs deck has a gas BBQ grill for your use. We take pleasure in making your stay as comfortable as possible and provide bath towels, beach towels for the hot tub, linens, paper products, shampoo/ conditioner, soap, hair dryer, and laundry supplies. We offer access to the entire house and garage during your stay. There are ample storage areas throughout the house for your vacation "gear" and each bedroom has dedicated closet space for your use.

The chalet has room to accommodate sleeping for more than 10 people. However you will need to provide your own air mattress and sleeping bags/linens for more that 10 guests. There is no additional charge for additional guests.

Guest access
The chalet is located a short distance from the Tamarack Lodge and resort center. Included in your stay is access to the following amenities that Tamarack Resort has to offer to include outdoor pools, large hot tub, steam rooms and an amazing exercise facility. Also available at the resort center is the ski-base, mountain bike rentals, zip-lining experience and several options for dining. Ski-In/Ski-Out access to the resort center ski-base is available with a short 100 yd walk from the chalet. Just across from the resort entrance is the Tamarack dock at Cascade Lake that offers water sports rentals.

Other things to note
In addition to the amenities at the Tamarack Resort many people will also plan for a trip to the McCall area (about 17 miles north) for dining, shopping, golf, and access to Payette Lake for boating or fishing.

Other things to note
Prior year's snowfall can affect the water levels in late summer. We cannot guarantee that the inflatable docks and trampoline will be in deep water. Please reach out if you are planning on bringing your boat after August. Additionally, the current year's snowfall levels may prevent you from sledding off our hill and onto the lake. (Duh)

Pets are allowed. When choosing your dates and the number of guests you are bringing, please select the pet option. We have a $100 pet fee. Pets are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture and beds. There is a baby gate blocking the stairs for pet owners to use.
