Our Chalet is in the heart of Government Camp. This house is a beautiful 3 story mountain retreat with lots of windows and a view of MT Hood. You can easily walk into Government Camp, or to the lodge at East Ski Bowl. There are plenty of entertainment options within this house: New flat screen smart TV in main living area, a TV, shuffleboard, corn hole, lots of games and a card table in downstairs bonus room. This chalet also has a large gas fireplace in the main living area to warm you up on cold, snowy days. Wireless internet is also provided throughout the house.
This chalet is kid friendly and would be a great place for a family reunion. We have a kitchen table that seats 10 people and a counter seating for 3. The kitchen has granite counter tops, an appliance garage and is fully stocked with dishes and bake ware. There are 2 bedrooms/bunkrooms on the ground floor with a bathroom, large bonus room, TV, shuffleboard and many kid friendly games. We also have a washer and dryer in the basement for renters to use if needed.
This chalet has French doors leading out to an outside deck to enjoy the sunshine on sunny days.
In the front of the house you'll find parking for up to 4 vehicles depending on snow conditions.
This is a perfect set up for a family get together, or 3 couples with kids wanting to spend a relaxing week together.

- "Overall our stay was great. The only complaint was that on the listing it specifically stated that the master bedroom with a king size bed has its on en suite bathroom. When we arrived we immediately noticed that it was the room with the queen size bed that has its own bathroom not the room with the king. This was not ideal for us as it forced my husband and I to share the very small hallway bathroom with our two kids. I would not have stayed here had I known this was the layout."

- "Staying with two kids under 5, this was an excellent base camp right on the mountain. The house was well equipped and the boot drier and sleds in the garage were a huge plus! Our location was right across the street from a great sledding hill for this age. The only negative I could think of was the cleanliness of some of the dishes. They needed to be washed again before use, but certainly didnt take away from the trip. Would definitely recommend!"

The Room with the Loft at Megumi Chalet, an owner-occupied lodge located in the heart of Government Camp, is one of two private rooms available on the third floor. It has a king and a twin bed. There is additional sleeping space in the loft above.

In addition, a service elevator is available to carry luggage to third floor rooms.
The living room, work area, and balconies with magnificent views of Mt. Hood, are shared by our third floor guests.

The space
Megumi Chalet is an owner-occupied lodge, close to 4 ski areas and many trails for winter activities. There is an abundance of summer activities - summer skiing, hiking, climbing, swimming, rafting, an Adventure Park - all near the Chalet. The Chalet has 3 separate, private sleeping areas.
An elevator services the upper floors. There is a large first floor entryway with room to hang outdoor gear and a large drying rack for boots and gloves. The garage has room for gear storage and tuning of skis and boards. Both the second and third floors have shared living rooms with the second floor boasting a large dining room and shared, fully-equipped kitchen with shared guest refrigerator. A number of breakfast items, including a coffee/tea/cocoa bar, are available for our guests.

Guest access
All guests have access to their assigned space and all shared areas: living rooms, kitchen, dining room, large entryway, garage. Off-street parking is available for guests. The owners have private quarters not available to guests.

During your stay
Upon arrival, we will be here to greet you and introduce you to the amenities of the Lodge. You will also be given a code to the front door which is to be kept locked at all times. We want you to feel at home while you are our guests so please feel free to ask for anything you need.

There are private quarters on the second floor but kitchen and dining/living rooms are shared spaces. The wifi access information is available in each room. You have access to: your private room and also the kitchen, living room, dining room, entry/snow shake-off area, laundry area, indoor hot tub, 2 bathrooms, common deck out back, deck off kitchen with gas grill, and office room. In summer, the garden/yard is available and we can set up hammocks, table and chairs, fire pit (when burning allowed). There is a tree house, horseshoes, creek, pond, terrace, and faux “dock”, which is big enough for your picnic. Animals abound here in summer and share our environment. We have deer, bears, rabbits, birds, insects, and friendly garter snakes. In winter everyone just plays in the snow — you can dig a snow cave, make snow angels, snowshoe around or just have a good ole snowball fight!

Chalet 74 is a lovely 3-story vacation home situated in an area of the resort that is close to the pool and clubhouse area, as well as the walking trail that winds throughout our property. The first floor of this home is a tandem two-car garage with a private in-unit washer and dryer. On the second floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room with a gas fireplace. There is also a private deck and half bath on the second floor. 

All of the sleeping arrangements in this home are located on the third floor. The master bedroom has a King-size bed and the guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the open den area has a twin-over-full pyramid style bunk bed. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while the guest and den bedrooms share the other full bathroom on the third floor. 

Convenient Features: Cable TV and free wi-fi. The first level includes a heated two-car garage with a full-sized washer and dryer, a utility sink, and ample space for gear. This unit is not pet-friendly, so please leave your furry friend at home. Guests of Collins Lake Resort enjoy exceptional discounts at nearby attractions, including Mt. Welcome to Edelweiss Number 9, in historic Government Camp Oregon! This cozy, centrally located chalet, which once housed the 1975 US. Ski Team, lies in the heart of the Government Camp loop. Steps from downtown Govy, it is an idyllic jump off spot to any and all recreation the beautiful Oregon Cascades have to offer.

The space
Built like tanks, The Edelweiss Condominiums were established in the early seventies, and have stood sturdily throughout the decades, in the heart of Govy, below the looming summit of Mt. Hood. A short walking distance to both Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, and the Summit Ski Area, with the local shops and restaurants even closer, being quite literally around the corner. Should you need to take a break from all the recreational opportunities and attractions, that the local resorts and wildernesses have to offer, the chalet is all set up to spend a night in. There is a fireplace, plenty of games to play, as well as a 42” TV, complete with rather large assortment of movies. Wi-fi provided, as well as Netflix and Amazon Watch. The kitchen is accommodated with virtually all common needs, for most any type of cooking. However, past reviews have pointed out that counter space is limited, so it would not be an idyllic workspace for large holiday feast making. There is also not a dish washer at this time. Parking is limited to two vehicles per unit on the drive, but there is plenty of additional parking located just up above the drive. Pets are allowed and welcome, for an added $30 fee. Please declare pets upon booking.

There are two parking lots - this unit utilizes the lower west lefthand driveway at this time (2 spots). Do not park in the other upper driveway. Do not hang out of the driveway or park on the street, or you could get towed. There is additional parking on the main street in Govt Camp. Feel free to pull up and quickly unload, and then park down below. (Please notify us immediately if there is a vehicle illegally parked in the lower unit driveway).

There are TWO parking spaces for this unit (left hand lower lot). Additional parking in town just a block away. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE UPPER UNIT LOT!

Recently remodeled modern three level chalet in the heart of Government Camp at the foot of the Glade Trail. Our home provides a central mountain setting for the recreation minded group. This house is ideal for family vacations, business retreats, ski camps, and any other group looking to escape to the mountains with plenty of room to spread out and relax. During the winter you can leave Timberline Ski Area via Glade Trail and ski directly to your door or mountain bike or hike it during summer!

The space
Located in the heart of Government Camp just one block from restaurants, bars, shopping, and all that our little town has to offer. Walk to skiing, tubing, and summertime activities either at Ski Bowl or Summit Ski Area (just 0.5 miles away). Or take the Mt. Hood Express up to Timberline Lodge ($2 one-way, $5 full-day pass) and ski, hike, snowshoe, or mountain bike down right back to your front door! Mt. Hood Meadows is also just a quick 15 minute drive on the other side of the mountain.

Three bedrooms and 2.5 baths with plenty of space for activities. Master bedroom with king size bed, full bathroom, sauna, TV, and views of Ski Bowl and Tom, Dick, and Harry Mountain.

Main floor includes a bedroom with a queen size bed, living area with TV, deck equipped with BBQ and eating areas. Fully equipped kitchen with sunken floor plan, custom butcher block bar and all the necessary amenities for a feast.

First floor has a bedroom with a full size bed and two sets of twin bunk beds. All linens and towels are provided with extras in the first floor closet. All rooms are comfortable and provide plenty of space to relax and listen to the sounds of Camp Creek right outside your windows.

The roomy couch on the main floor living room is large enough for someone to sleep on. Fully equipped kitchen perfect for cooking for your large group! Large flat-screen TV in the living room with Netflix, Hulu, and DVD player.

Although our house is in the heart of Government Camp, please note that there are limited amenities in the small town. Our house is in the mountains so please be prepared to deal with snow, cold temperatures, unpredictable weather, and being in a semi-remote location.

You'll be grinning ear-to-ear when you arrive at this incredible mountain chalet. Hand-built by a local artist and mountaineer, this three-bedroom retreat captures the spirit of Wy'east with custom art, furnishings, and metalwork accents, creating a beautiful Timberline Lodge-like aesthetic. The home also boasts prime convenience, with cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails accessible right out the front door and a short, two-block walk to shopping, bars, and dining in Government Camp.

A true gem of local craftsmanship, the home comes fully furnished from top to bottom with rustic-inspired comfort and all the modern amenities equipped for family comfort. The kitchen features cool cement counters and a full suite of appliances for handling home cooking with ease. The open living area sets the stage for group gatherings with sofas and an eight-seater dining table anchored by an impressive wood-burning fireplace. Altitude Adjustment is a large warm and inviting 2,561 sq ft home located on the quiet southern side of Government Camp, Oregon on Mt. Hood at the the 4000 ft. level. We are a short 3 min. walk to the Ski Bowl East Lodge or to the core area of Government Camp where you will find grocery markets, restaurants, recreational shops, and of course that all important coffee shop.

The space
Located within a 15-20 min drive is the Historic Timberline Lodge and the Mt. Hood Meadows ski resorts. Our large chalet has 4 spacious bedrooms (1 king in the master bedroom, 1 queen with two sets of bunk beds in the upper bedroom, 1 king in the main floor bedroom, plus the lower floor 4th Bedroom has 1 full bed and 1 set of bunk beds), 3 full baths, a large kitchen area with Jenn-air range and eating bar with four bar stools, a dining room with table and chairs to seat 8, a 2nd living space on the bottom floor, a large hot tub, and a new sauna. We have off street parking with availability for 2-4 cars maximum.

We are in a quiet gated community at the 4,000 ft snow zone elevation of Mt Hood and just a 3 min. walk to the Ski Bowl East Lodge,which is the largest night skiing area in North America and offers snow tubing hills, horse sleigh rides, snowmobile rentals for winter and an activity park and mountain biking trails for summer. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing are both available right out of our chalet door into undeveloped land, some of which is on the old Oregon Trail. We are within minutes of many hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing, swimming, rafting, and of course lots of sight seeing. Let our chalet be your home base to all that Mt Hood and Government Camp have to offer no matter what the season. Great times and memories will be made staying at Altitude Adjustment!

Note that there is not any extra fee to use washer and dryer (don't know how to have Airbnb amenity list show no fee).
