The Garden Room at the Dusty Rose Inn is a private room in a large country Victorian 1904 home, renovated top to bottom between 2001 and 2007. The Room is bright and peaceful as you enjoy the quiet of the nearly 2 acres of lawns and shade trees, set off the street by 50 yards. Private parking, room to stroll or just sit under the wrap-around porch and read a book. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable, however it uses a shared bathroom on the upper floor with a clawfoot bathtub or a full bath with shower on the first floor. The age of the house did not allow private baths in each room. The room has a smart TV, so with WIFI you have many choices of streaming video to watch. Parking is free and is to the side by the rear porch or in the rear. The entire facility and grounds are tobacco-free, no smoking on property anywhere.

The Historic Northern Hotel is the oldest hostelry in northern Idaho. Located on Priest Lake in Coolin, Idaho, the two-story log hotel was built in 1900 by Walt Williams, an employee of the Great Northern Railroad. One of a number of lodges created to attract more passengers to the rail line, the Northern Hotel is the only one that remains from the early days of Idaho statehood when mining, timber, and tourism businesses were beginning to develop around Priest Lake.

This room features plush forest green carpet and, as with the other Old Northern Inn suites and rooms, rich cedar paneling.

A handcrafted quilt wall hanging distinguishes this room. The antique floor lamps located at the head of the bed is of particular interest. These lighting fixtures, the other antique furnishings and the lace curtains reflect the early days of the 20th century.

As the sun sets behind Outlet Mountain and the cool stillness of the evening envelops the Inn, you may want to spend a few moments outside on the deck gazing towards the heavens.

The space
Our property is a Boutique Hotel Located on Main Street in Cascade. Guests park in the parking lot next to the building, and access the building through the keypad entry on the front door, head up a flight of stairs and enter the wide community hallway that all guests have access to. An additional keypad on each door leads to your room with comfortable accommodations and ensuite bathroom. A community room is located at the end of the hall with additional linens, a coffee pot, microwave, and small washer/dryer.

Guest access
Guests have access to the furnished community hallway, often used as a work/game space, as well as the utility room at the end of the hallway, and the room they have booked.
