- "The tent was very nice an the atmosphere was quite lovely. The beds were fitted with sheets, down comforters, and extra blankets. This was appreciated, as it was 32 degrees when we woke up in the morning. The bathroom trailers were clean and well-maintained, but did not offer a handle to assit with climbing the stairs or opening the door. However, the room was warm and the water was hot." - "We had the best time here. The accommodations were clean and tidy and the bathrooms/showers were well looked after as well. The communication before arrival was amazing and directions to get there were very helpful, especially since we arrived after dark and Google Maps didn’t take us the right way. I might only suggest a map of the layout/location of the tents; I think I would have gone down the wrong row even if it was light out. Regardless, would recommend a stay!"

- "It was great. Room was cozy and comfortable. It was clean and pots and pans were available. They provided a heater for our wet shoes after our hikes. I would recommend for everyone. " - "Loved our stay at the Blue Buffalo! It's a beautiful property in a lovely area 35 minutes from West Yellowstone. We stayed in a cabin with a loft but the kids weren't comfortable up there (it was 90 degrees that week and hot up there, also was a very tight space). We moved the mattresses to the living room and the kids slept there instead which worked out great. We spent one evening watching live music on their rooftop enjoying pizza and drinks from the onsite grill. We wish we had booked a longer stay!"

- "We had a great stay at the float house! While the interior is a bit dated, it didn’t affect our experience. The upstairs back covered deck was a favorite spot for us to relax. We enjoyed walking to The Dock for dinner, which had delicious food and live outdoor music. For breakfast, we walked to Ralph's coffee shop, which was also a pleasant experience. We boated to Bayview and had to arrange moorage on our own, which cost an extra $75 per night. It would be more convenient if the spot in front of the house could be reserved at time of booking and the fee included in the rental price. The walk from the float house to the marina office was quite long. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bathrooms provided nice towels and toiletries. However, we felt the 10 a.m. checkout time was a bit early, especially since we were leaving by boat. A checkout time of 11 a.m. would have been more reasonable. While we received an email offering a paid late checkout option, we had already spent $150 on boat parking, so we opted not to."

Our Family Bell tent is large and roomy inside. With 6 foot tall side walls, a 315 sq foot (20 foot diameter) interior, and a 14 foot height you won’t feel cramped. It includes fresh linens and extra thick comforters for the king bed and all 3 twin fold out beds. There’s also extra blankets in each unit to keep you warm in the coldest of nights. It gets warm during the summer days, but each night drops to a cool, comfortable temperature which is why we don’t have A/C.
We’re also the only eco friendly glamping site near West Yellowstone to a solar powered portable power station to every accommodation. This will power all the interior lighting, and allow you to charge all your devices, even laptops that take a standard 2 or 3 prong AC wall plug. These will NOT power a C-Pap machine.
Restrooms are walking distance and shared with other guests. We offer toilets, sinks and hot showers, all off grid. We also provide you with fresh bath towels.
Our season starts in May as soon as the snow melts and ends Sept 30th. The tents are waterproof so we do operate in all weather conditions. It’s easy to forget this is still camping so please remember to plan for the weather, that includes warm/cold weather, rain, mud, and even snow during some months.
- "We had a great time Glamping! Beautiful area, easy drive from Yellowstone and helpful and friendly staff. We stayed for two nights and it ended up raining a bit both days, which made for muddy roads through the campground but we just drive slow and walked carefully. Showers were a bit hit or miss as far as finding one that had warm/hot water but one was found each day and they had shampoo and conditioner in each one which was nice and not expected. Even though the rain showed up each day, it stopped later in the evening and the staff still got a big campfire going for us all and provided s’more’s. one night it started raining during the campfire so we ran and sheltered under the office overhang and while we sat there waiting for the rain to stop, a big old moose came waking out of the woods and across the field right in front of the office.! Very fun experience! "

- "We were very pleased to stay in this nice floathome. It had everything you could need. The views of the lake are spectacular! We especially enjoyed drinking our coffee on the 2nd floor deck, gazing out onto the lake. We highly reccomend this home." - "Overall this property was wonderful. We brought our preteen boys and our pup and enjoyed the location. Sheri was a wonderful host; very responsive and helpful, and I would definitely stay at her properties again. Location was lovely and we really enjoyed the peaceful view from the deck, and the friendly dock neighbors. My only concern was the AC not being able to cool the place down very well when we first arrived. But with the cool nights and lovely lake breeze, opening the windows in the evening got the house cooled so it was just fine. Definitely recommend!"

We played on all the rocks, pulled out games, had the best fire which helped keep mosquitoes away. Waking up in a teepee was a first for us and I keep thinking about it. This was the perfect stay to kick off a family road trip! All the STARS 🌟" - "This place was so quiet and cozy!!" - "Great property, comfortable for 2 adults and 2 young kids (they shared the futon bed). I was impressed with how clean and well maintained everything was inside and out. I would definitely recommend. The place was easy to find with the address we received via message and her instructions. "

- "This place was ADORABLE! The decor was spot on. The colors made the place feel bright and cheerful. This is the only house on the docks that has a rooftop deck that I saw. If you’re elderly or disabled, getting to the deck is not gonna work for you. However if you don’t mind climbing up a sturdy ladder to the loft and out to the deck, this is the place for you!I super appreciated the king size bed also! So hard to find a rental with a big bed. Plus THE HOUSE FLOATS! This place was absolutely amazing! 10/10!"

RVers with any size RV enjoy a vacation rental experience rather than a crowded park at this private, quiet site with full hookups, a fire pit and outdoor hot tub on a 10-plus acre waterfront estate on Lake Pend Oreille just minutes from the resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho. RVers enjoy stunning lake views and easy access to a public boat dock and a private beach. Bring your RV of any type or size, as this site will accommodate up to a motor coach with tip-outs and 50 amp service. The RV site's location is a private spot overlooking Lake Pend Oreille and just a couple minutes walk away from the water. Hookups are on-site with a frost-free hydrant serving up tasty well water! A beautiful outdoor hot tub under the stars seats five with a lounge. A unique outdoor shower with an on-demand propane water heater and portable toilet are available for those setups that aren't self-contained. The site has its own fire pit, and camp wood is provided. We have accommodations for horses too. The property includes a house and two bell tents that allow for the possibility of group retreats. Hawkins Point is the farthest point on the Sunnyside Peninsula, named for the fact that it faces south; it's a gateway to the northern end of the lake and the Pack River Delta. The property has been in the same family since 1944 at a prominent geographic feature on Lake Pend Oreille, Hawkins Point. A public boat dock is right across the road, and the private shoreline is just west of the Hawkins Point public boat dock. A private beach with a dock and sitting areas on privately owned shoreline that is shared with other guests who are staying on the property. Outdoor hot tub and shower are available as shared amenities, as well as the fire pit, horseshoe pits, beach shelter, etc. that are on the privately owned beach. Barn, round pen and fenced area for horses. Access to state forestland and public lakeshore to view wildlife. Bring your own RV and plug into 50 amp service. A 30-amp converter is available upon request, but we prefer that you bring your own. As much as possible or as little as guests desire. We love meeting our guests and helping them make the most of their stay. Sunnyside is a rural neighborhood on the north shore of Lake Pend Oreille, where there's a mix of farmland and family homes. This is a popular recreation area with Sunnyside Access, Hawkins Point Boat Launch and Oden Wildlife Management Area. Many families have been here for decades, including the family that owns the property at Hawkins Point. People come here to fish, swim, ride bicycles, paddle, go boating and more. Sandpoint is home to the only Amtrak depot in Idaho and Sandpoint Airport. The closest public bus transportation is found in town, where the SPOT bus operates in Sandpoint, Dover, Kootenai and Ponderay. The site is about 10 minutes away from Highway 200, and another five minutes to Ponderay or 10 minutes to downtown Sandpoint. Follow the host's directions! Do not trust your GPS out here in the country. Vehicles under tow should enter from Highway 200 at Sunnyside Cutoff Road at mile marker 36. The outdoor hot tub is behind the home, which is a vacation rental. It may be used by other guests, so expect to alternate usage. If you bring horses, it's an extra $20 per head per night to feed out of the barn or on pasture. Dogs must be friendly with people and other dogs, as we have other guests with dogs staying on the property. The property includes a lakefront home and two bell tents (May through October) and three other RV sites that are not within sight. If you stay for a month or more, a fee for electricity will be added to your reservation. The RV site is for up to six guests to stay in their own RV. Sunnyside Road can get busy in summer time, especially on weekends when the weather is nice. Expect to see cars parked along the road on the half-mile stretch of public shoreline at Sunnyside Access and around the Hawkins Point public boat dock.
