One suggestion would be to change the way the water comes.out in the shower, maybe a foot pedal instead? It was hard showering with one hand. - "Nice stay out in the woods. Clean tent and comfortable setup. Was a good time with my kids." - "Unique and fun, the only problem is other guest get quite rowdy!" - "It was alright. Nothing special unfortunately. The area around camp was not well groomed - floor of the tent wss very uneven as well as surrounding areas. Restrooms/shower was fine. Sheets had hairs in them and floor of tent looked like it had not been cleaned very well. Underwhelmed by thos experience for the price which I felt was really high for what you get. I would say you'd do better to just camp yourself, or just find a hotel. "

- "It was a great place to stay. " - "We made a last minute reservation during the holidays and Charlie was super accommodating! There was a maintenance issue that he went above and beyond to fix. We were given 2 heaters and warm blankets but we were completely fine with just the heater. The cute wagon and cheap price attracted us to this place but we were not expecting such a magnificent view. There was a spectacular view of the Mesa during the day and at night there was a beautiful visible full moon. There were some cute farm animals that I visited everyday to feed, along with a dog named Moonshine and 2 cute kittens. We spoke to Charlie and Hudson about the history of the town and learned so much. The hosts were super nice and friendly. I would definitely love to come again. "

- "The property was clearly well managed. We had a lovely time staying at this resort. It is clear that they will continue to offer amazing experiences as they expand the property. For those looking to stay close to Zion National Park, I cannot recommend a better place as it was less than 20 min to the park entrance. Additionally - there are actual bison on the property, we had the pleasure of meeting their caretaker who gave us the backstory on their origin. Everything in the building worked smoothly including the kitchen, hot tub, and grill."

- "This place is super cute and a great stay if you happen to be passing through town. We stayed at the little oasis tent site. The tent, campfire site and office had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We bought food from the store in town and they provided everything for us to prepare it (pans, plates, seasonings, etc). The site also came with a grill. Charcoal, ice, lighter fluid could be purchased from the office. They delivered us s’mores packs also. Would definitely stay again!"

- "Wanted to say thank you to Keshia for such an incredible experience! The location was easy to find, extremely clean (despite being outside) and very comfortable. Host was very communicative and willing to answer any questions. We also had everything we needed to maximize our experience (fire wood, matches, cooking tools, extra blankets, etc). One of our favorite parts of the stay was enjoying sunrise and sunset in the hammock park! Our only regret was forgetting to sign the guestbook!"

- "We were pleasantly surprised with the camp once we found it. In a car it would have been easier to watch the gps but with all of us on Harleys it was a little difficult to navigate. All in all it was a very nice stay!" - "These Yurts are darling but very close for comfort. If you're in a group setting, it would be amazing. For couples who want to get away, not so much. The yurts are very close in proximity to one another. You can and will hear your neighbors all day/night. If they have animals, plan to have them visit you. The Website states a whirlpool/jacuzzi, but there isn't one. Wifi/internet never worked. The mattresses are better than the ground but plan on a sore back/neck. The restroom/shower/outside sink needs some work. Our toilet room floor was constantly wet from what I'm hoping was the sink that was outside draining directly into the floor. This was my first "glamping" experience, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I highly recommend if you are going about this in a group setting, not so much for alone and quiet time."

- "Stayed at this lovely property in the Cedar Pod and had the best experience! We stayed here while competing in the Bears Ears Ultra. We took advantage of the sauna (incredible) and the communal kitchen, making burritos one night. We also spent an evening in downtown Moab. This is the perfect place for those who don't want to be in tourist-centric Moab and prefer a more relaxing, natural atmosphere. The hosts were fabulous, providing us with tubs for hanging out at Foy Lake and bringing coffee in the morning. They have two sweet pooches and friendly chickens roaming around! Such a special place where memories were made—we will be coming back again and again! Cheers!!"

Lots of traffic passing the property but was very quiet from 11:00pm-5:00am." - "We were skepitcal of the whole "glamping" thing - but this place does it perfectly! We loved this property! East Zion Resort thought of everything you might need for your stay. We were so impressed! And the beds - they were more comfortable than other 5-star resorts we have stayed in! We loved having our own bathroom, for sure, and not sharing with strangers. The air conditioning was fabulous. We really loved having our own porch with a propane grill and firepit for smores! About the Area
Yuba Lake, located within Yuba State Park, is a hidden gem in central Utah, offering a peaceful retreat for water sports, fishing, and relaxation. The lake’s sandy beaches and clear waters make it a favorite for swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, while its surrounding desert landscapes provide a dramatic backdrop. The area is known for its exceptionally dark skies, earning high ratings on the Bortle Scale for stargazing due to low light pollution, making it a prime spot to marvel at the Milky Way or catch meteor showers. Nearby hiking trails and off-road vehicle routes in the surrounding hills cater to adventure seekers, while the quiet ambiance suits those craving tranquility.
Location
Yuba Lake/Yuba State Park: Situated in Juab and Sanpete Counties, approximately 30 miles south of Nephi, Utah, and 100 miles south of Salt Lake City (about a 1.5-hour drive from Salt Lake County via I-15).
Relation to Utah and Salt Lake Counties: Yuba Lake is in central Utah, easily accessible from Utah County (e.g 60 miles south of Provo, a 1-hour drive) and Salt Lake County. Its location off I-15 makes it a convenient escape for urban dwellers seeking nature without a long trek.
Proximity to National and State Parks:
National Parks: Yuba Lake is a great base for exploring Utah’s “Mighty Five” national parks. It’s approximately 2.5 hours from Zion National Park (140 miles south) and Bryce Canyon National Park (150 miles south), and 3.5 hours from Capitol Reef National Park (180 miles southeast). Arches and Canyonlands are farther, about 4.5 hours east (230–250 miles).
State Parks: Beyond Yuba State Park, nearby state parks include Goblin Valley State Park (3 hours southeast, known for its whimsical rock formations) and Great Salt Lake State Park (2 hours north, near Salt Lake City). Wasatch Mountain State Park in Utah County (1.5 hours northeast) offers golfing and hiking.
Local Attractions: The small towns of Nephi and Levan provide basic amenities (grocery stores, gas stations), while the surrounding region offers historical sites like the Tintic Mining District (40 miles west) and scenic drives through the San Pitch Mountains.
Why Stay Here?
This Airstream offers a rare chance to glamp in style at Yuba Lake’s edge, with direct access to sandy beaches and water activities. Whether you’re a family seeking a fun lake getaway, a couple craving a romantic retreat, or an adventurer exploring Utah’s parks, this Airstream delivers a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Book now to paddle, relax, and stargaze in one of Utah’s most scenic destinations!
- "Having our site right on the beach and away from the crowd was amazing. Me and my wife have always wanted to visit yuba and this was definitely the way to do it." - "Beautiful place" - "The map provided lead us to the middle of a dirt road, it was late at night. The first signage we saw said no fires allowed. Did not receive information about which unit we were staying in, had to reach out to 3 different people as the first one did not answer and neither did the second one. Very sad that we couldn’t have a fire in the fire pit. No heater so we were very cold throughout the night. Our window zipper was broken so we could not insulate the tent. Upon waking up we all needed to use the restroom and sink. No running water and the toilet was full of toilet paper and someone else’s waste. Sink had quite a bit of sand in it. Made for a pretty expensive stay without some of the basic amenities that were said to be available. Reached out to management via VRBO messaging, not really a follow up to the issues. "

The kitchen/ fire pit area outside is a nice addition if you are wanting to enjoy some outside space that is private to your rental. - "Nice stay in a quiet and friendly glamping resort. The pool and hot tub amenities were excellent and we were able to make use of them. However, if you are looking for a place that is totally isolated and free from light pollution this is not the place. The reason I chose this experience was to look at the stars and while some could be seen the proximity to the highway obstructed this . Overall the accommodations were clean and matched exactly to the description. However there was no security at the entry gate and our check in process was just opening the zip on the tent which did not give us a sense of safety as anyone could drive up and access the property."
