- "This place was a classic hostel. A little rough and ready, but the staff was friendly and helpful, the people were fun and social, and it was easy to get downtown or to the slopes. Rooms were good enough for the price, and though bathrooms are not en-suite I never had trouble getting to use one. The common area was fun with a pool table and many board games that many people were eager to play. You meet people from everywhere here!" - "Great place to rest your head in Park City. Bathrooms, bedrooms (comfortable beds) and common areas were always clean. Staff was fantastic and willing to answer any questions. Kitchen was a great benefit and saved me a ton of money. Only recordation would to splurge for the sunset rooms. Thanks again for the great visit"

The hostel is clean, quiet, and comfortable and the residents are friendly. Feels just like home but with strangers. Every morning there is coffee brewing and frying pans so you can cook your own bacon & eggs, with bread and butter for toast; or just pour a bowl of cereal. You can make your own lunch and dinner any time before 10:30 pm. Also, you can't beat the rates! "

Summary:
Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Your stay at Rockin' R Ranch includes access to the lodge, and large gathering areas throughout the lodge, game room, and conference room. With a large lawn area, we have volleyball grass court, horseshoe court, a small swimming pond, and a fire-pit/picnic area for you to enjoy. With large groups in mind we offer some activity supplies for your use such as: volleyball, basketball, soccer, billiards, and ping pong.
The Space:
Your bedroom includes two queen beds and a bathroom. There will be other guests staying in nearby rooms and in the lodge.
We host large groups for retreats and reunions. Your stay here will be remembered and a unique experience. We hope to deliver a 5 star experience.
Guest Access:
Rental of the Rockin' R Ranch includes the lodge (with access to our large commercial kitchen and dining rooms, large gathering areas throughout the lodge, game room, conference room, and a pre-determined number of sleeping rooms for guests-each with a private bathroom), large lawn area, volleyball grass court, horseshoe court, small swimming pond, and firepit/picnic table area.
Our kitchen must be reserved ahead of time and has a gas stove with a large grill top, convection ovens, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, commercial icemaker, pots, pans, mixing bowls, plates, dishes, and silverware. For safety reasons, only those in your group who are directly involved with food prep, cooking or washing dishes will be allowed in the kitchen.
Making your own food at the Ranch doesn't have to be hard or time-consuming. We know you would rather spend your time with each other than in the kitchen. I suggest that you keep everything as simple as possible. You may want to bring your own paper plates, napkins, and plasticware for easy cleanup.
Although the Rockin' R Ranch will not be providing any activities, we do have some activity supplies available for your use such as: balls (for volleyball, basketball, and soccer), balls and cues for billiards, ping pong paddles and balls, horseshoes, cornhole boards, and kayaks and life jackets at the pond. Children under 16 years of age need to have adult supervision when playing billiards.
There are board games and puzzles in our game closet. We also have a fun bucking barrel near the pond. If you'd like to practice your roping skills, we have roping "calves" and ropes you can use. Just let us know in advance so we can have them ready for you when you need them. There is a faucet and a hose available nearby for any "water games" you may want to do. If you want some extra adventure, you can rent our Dunk Tank at $150 for one day, and $100 for any additional days. We'll take care of the set up and take down. Advanced notice is required.
You are responsible for bringing any supplies you will need for any other activities. If you are planning on having a campfire, you will want to bring your own roasting sticks (for marshmallows, if desired). The Ranch has a limited supply of firewood. We will supply your firewood for one night's campfire. If you prefer to have campfires on additional nights, there will be a $30 charge for firewood. You are welcome to bring your own firewood. We have about two dozen camping chairs for your use.
In the lodge, we have two pianos and two TV's. One piano is in the large main floor gathering area, the second is in the Conference Room on the second floor. One TV is in the game room, the second is in the Conference Room. If you need to connect anything to the TV's, you will need to bring your own cords.
Other Things to Note:
Standard check in and out is 4PM and 10AM. If you need an early check in or late check out, the EARLIEST is 1PM; please contact us first before booking to confirm availability (with a fee).
Please be aware that we do not provide towels, shampoo, or hair dryers. We also recommend bringing extra towels for water activities.
It's important to note that there is typically spotty cell phone service in this area so be sure to have your maps up and information squared away well before you arrive.
Interaction with Guests:
We will have a manager on site and they will help upon checking in. It's important that your estimated arrival time be communicated so that they can give a quick orientation meeting of the ranch and give access keys to the bedrooms.

Its important to note that there is typically spotty cell phone service in this area so be sure to have your maps up and information squared away well before you arrive.
Interaction with Guests:
We will have a manager on site and they will help upon checking in. It's important that your estimated arrival time be communicated so that they can give a quick orientation meeting of the ranch and give access keys to the bedrooms.

Summary:
This 18 bedroom portion of the Rockin' R Ranch is on the second floor of south side of the property. Your stay at the ranch includes access to the lodge and large gathering areas like the game room, and conference room. In the lawn area we have a volleyball grass court, a horseshoe court, a small swimming pond, and a fire-pit/picnic area for you to enjoy. With large groups in mind we offer some activity supplies for your use such as: volleyball, basketball, soccer, billiards, and ping pong.
The Space:
We have rooms with multiple bed arrangements. Including bedrooms with two queen beds. Other examples would be a bedroom with a queen bed, twin beds and a trundle.
