Our rental car had a power steering issue and we could not drive it and the home owner was outside offering help faster than ride side service and a ride back to the rental place. The views are beyond beautiful and the location is central to Glacier and Whitefish and Flathead Lake. The coffee bar is amazing… refrigerator full of every coffee creamer and etc you could want… we asked for champagne, and up it came, ice bucket and all. Oh, and the hot tub…. Overlooking the fire pit and the lake is just epic! Even the wildlife- wow!!! This is a 5 star- everyone should see this place kind of visit and we feel blessed to have experienced it! The WiFi is poor so makes for TV watching in the evenings a challenge. The unit worked out great for us for a 5 day stay. "

The space
This 2 level townhouse style condo is located near 19th and Main street in Bozeman. Upon entry, there is a powder room and hallway storage area - perfect for hats, gloves, coats, keys, bags.... The newly renovated kitchen features a gas stove, microwave, blender, crock pot, keurig and french press + plenty of tea stocked. The living space, also shared, is very spacious and has a ton of natural light. There are 2 barstools, a table for 4, and a gas fireplace. TV w/ ROKU downstairs is for shared use. Upstairs you'll find the 3 bedrooms. The FOX and BEAR bedrooms share the hallway bathroom. The BISON bedroom has a private bath. All bedrooms have plenty of storage, and you'll find towels, washcloths, iron, ironing board, blow dryer, laundry detergent, etc.

Guest access
This bedroom has an assigned, off-street PARKING SPACE across from condo. The hallway bathroom upstairs, downstairs powder room, kitchen, dining, and living area are all shared. If you need to store something in the garage, please let me know! The back patio gets tons of sun and you're welcome to enjoy that space as well!

Other things to note
This 3 bedroom home is ladies only. Door handles on all bedrooms lock. For the peace & quiet of other guests, there are no personal guests or pets allowed (except for my Bubba dog when I'm in town). Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am daily. You’ll find helpful info in booklet on your desk. Mail key on bulletin board if you choose to receive mail during your stay. Door ornament is a BEAR. Feel free to leave notes or area info on hallway bulletin board for others. No guests. Tenants only on property. No exceptions.

Housekeeper comes every 4 weeks to keep things clean and tidy. Check out the fridge to see when the next visit will be.

Tucked into our funky basement apartment, the Garden Room features a cozy double bed with soft jersey sheets, soundproofing panels, closet space, and plenty of charging stations to keep you powered up.

This shared space includes three private rooms, each with individual locks and lockers for your privacy and security. You’ll have exclusive access to your room, while the kitchen, living room, and bathroom are shared with fellow guests.

It’s a great spot to meet like-minded travelers—swap stories over dinner, co-work at the big dining table, or unwind with a board game. The Wi-Fi is strong, the vibe is laid-back, and the garden patio is just outside for fresh air and evening sunsets.

Look for the dark charcoal house with the number 415, directly across from the Peets Hill parking lot. Your entrance is on the left side of the main building—look for the blue door, not the red one (that’s our private residence).

Open the blue door and head downstairs. You’ll find a keypad—enter your code to access the apartment.

You’ve got a few 24-hour parking options:
– In the alley to the left of the carport (by the bikes) if there is space
– Across the street on the opposite side only (do not park on the house side—you could get ticketed)
– In the Peets Hill public lot right across from the house

Most guests report that the house stays very quiet. However some guests report being bothered by noise (doors opening/closing, walking sounds, thumps, etc) which sometimes is part of the communal experience. We do have quiet hours that begin at 11pm and end at 8am, plus we provide ear plugs.

The Lewis and Clark neighborhood is south-centrally located. There are many things to do within walking distance:
Hike mount Sentinel via Lewis and Clark trailhead.

Living room: the space includes a large mudroom to store your coats and shoes, a couch, coffee table, desk and chair so you have a place to check email or check in at work.

Kitchen: the large cooking area has a full kitchen with a gas range, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, and plenty of counterspace. We also stock the kitchen with coffee and tea to make your mornings efficient.

Outdoor area: The deck off of the kitchen sliding glass door is all yours during your stay. Enjoy the view of our garden and soak up the sunshine. Feel free to check out the rest of the yard with native plants, shared by us and the longterm renter in the basement unit.

We used to advertise part of this space on Airbnb as a guest room /bathroom with a shared living room and kitchen. We’ve since converted this into a private apartment with no shared indoor spaces. Reviews from 2019 and prior are about the guest room/bathroom only. We also no longer have our sweet, energetic dog.

Our home is 18 miles south of downtown Livingston, just off I-90, and 38 miles north of Yellowstone. National Park
While our official address is Livingston, we’re near the peaceful community of Pray, where Livingston and Pray join together on Chicory Road.

The space
Throughout Paradise Valley, there is plenty of access to local unlimited hiking trails, whitewater rafting, fly-fishing, mountain biking, hot springs, day spas, gift shops, guided tours, rock climbing, and kayaking on a lake nearby. You can enjoy a ride through our beautiful valley that goes through 54 miles of some of the most spectacular views in our area. You will see wildlife while enjoying your trip to the Northwest Entrance Gate of Yellowstone National Park out of Gardiner, Montana.

Our separate Home-Share area offers 3 private bedrooms.

The private guest space offers a large shared common room area with a living room that offers seating for 6 people and a TV. Our dining table seats 4 with a coffee/tea and self-serve breakfast bar, microwave, toaster, and mini fridge, hot water kettle, and cold/hot water dispenser.
We do not offer a full kitchen but do have a microwave and toaster for a quick meal, we provide disposable bowls, plates, cups, napkins, and utensils.
The shared bathroom flows very well with few “wait” times and provides a sink, tub/shower combination with a lock on the door to ensure your privacy.

Your private bedroom has a lock on the door to ensure your privacy, a single-cup Keurig coffee pot, cups, creamer/sugar, coffee pods, snacks, bottled water, TV, microwave and a mini fridge for your enjoyment.
You will enter a separate private, well-lit Guest Entrance Door that offers easy self-check-in instructions upon booking.

There are 2 picnic tables on the front patio for you to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun rises over the eastern mountain range.
Chairs and a BBQ grill and firepit (If local fire ban is not in place) are on the front and backyard patios for your enjoyment.
Our charming atmosphere and quiet mountainous location will instantly help you relax and unwind; however, we do live on a county road, and there is light traffic.
***Tables and chairs are removed during the winter months for snowplowing and shoveling.

The Yellowstone River is accessible at this time. You can also enjoy a short walk down our county road, wildlife viewing, hiking in our surrounding mountain ranges and some of the most spectacular photo opportunities the west has to offer just to the west of our place down a dirt road.

Our designated guest parking area is well lit upon your arrival.
We have a beautiful view from both our front and back yards where you can enjoy BBQing or sitting around a campfire. I grow a lot of wildflowers around the property which attracts some very calm honey bees and butterflies.

Our home is located on Chicory Road fishing access, which is open. The Yellowstone River is within walking distance located on State Land Access. (walk-in only)

Owners live on site but live in a separate private wing of the house. We will respect your privacy at all times. We enjoy interacting with guests, so if you see us out and about, please feel free to join us. Otherwise, we will allow you to enjoy our wonderful space.

We will be happy to greet you on your day of arrival to get you acquainted with the premises. However, we are not always here and provide easy self-check-in instructions. There is a guest private entrance door for guests to access. Should you need anything, we are only a text message away through the app, however we may be in Yellowstone National Park where the service is poor, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we get back in cell range.

During your stay
You may see us out and about working in our garden, watering flowers, mowing or relaxing, please feel free to join us and say “hello”.
We are always happy to answer any questions about Yellowstone National Park, hiking trails or eateries in our surrounding areas.

Other things to note
Our valley offers many hiking trails, waterfalls, hot springs, horseback riding, caves, and a beautiful lake. I do a lot of hiking and would be happy to point you in the direction of some day hikes or places to kayak, picnic, or fish.
Bozeman is located just 45 minutes west and makes for a fun day at the museum and shopping.

Some of the most spectacular fly and spinning fishing is found within 10 minutes walking distance from our back door on the Yellowstone River.
After a day on the river, or a visit to Yellowstone National Park you will want to make plans to have dinner at the local eateries only 10 minutes from our home that offers wonderful food and live music year-round!

My husband and I both work seasonal jobs in the fall in the most remote location in the lower 48 states as a wilderness backcountry cook and hunting guide.

We do enjoy sharing and hearing stories while you’re here about your travels and life as well.

These include electric fencing, open livestock water troughs, free-ranging livestock and small farm animals (permitted by state law), and active farm equipment such as tractors and vehicles that may be in operation, BBQ Grills are within access to children and may be hot, The Yellowstone River is exposed and is within walking distance of our property.
Inside the home, beds do not meet child safety railing standards, furniture is not anchored to walls, window blinds are present in each room, and hot appliances like coffee makers and kettles are within reach of children. Additionally, shared refrigerators may contain items that are not appropriate for unsupervised access.
These risks make the environment potentially dangerous for children, and for their safety, we cannot accommodate infants or children at this property. We appreciate your understanding and your help in maintaining a safe space for all guests.
