Our rental car had a power steering issue and we could not drive it and the home owner was outside offering help faster than ride side service and a ride back to the rental place. The views are beyond beautiful and the location is central to Glacier and Whitefish and Flathead Lake. The coffee bar is amazing… refrigerator full of every coffee creamer and etc you could want… we asked for champagne, and up it came, ice bucket and all. Oh, and the hot tub…. Overlooking the fire pit and the lake is just epic! Even the wildlife- wow!!! This is a 5 star- everyone should see this place kind of visit and we feel blessed to have experienced it! The space
Cabin 3 offers 460 sqft of living space. Upon Arrival you will find a generous size front porch with outdoor seating and BBQ to enjoy meals, drink a cup of coffee or just take in the beautiful scenery around you.
Once inside the cabin you will find a well stocked kitchenette equipped with mini fridge, stovetop, microwave and coffee maker, along with everything you need to enjoy home cooked meals during your stay. In this space there is also a dining table with seating for 4 and a gas burning fireplace.

On the other side of the room is our cozy living room complete with a sleeper pullout sofa, coffee table and TV.

The bedroom is located through the door and features a queen size bed and armoire.

Lastly the spacious bathroom offers a stand up shower complete with toiletries.

This off grid studio cabin (no power, no cell, limited internet) is located just minutes from the entrance of Glacier National Park in Polebridge. The space
This beautiful efficiency off grid cabin is a wonderful lodging option for budget-minded guests wanting to stay in a clean, safe and secure accommodation with privacy. The Numa Peak Cabin is compact, cute, clean and includes a private bathroom with a hot shower and tucked into the trees with plenty of space to enjoy your stay. The cabin is best suited for a place to clean up and sleep after a day full of adventuring. Linens (towels, sheets, pillows and blankets) are provided. The cabin has a twin bunk bed, and small double pull out futon. Lighting in the Numa Peak is provided by battery operated lights. We do recommend bringing your own flashlights/ headlamps for being outside at night or for your convenience for reading, etc.. This cabin is not equipped with electrical outlets. That’s part of the charm of being off the grid in the North Fork! Please be mindful this is an off grid setting with no cell service or internet access. UPDATED HEATER.
The cabin has no cooking option other than open fire.
You DO NOT need a park permit to access Polebridge or these cabins.
No pets on premises and no smoking in the cabins.

There are a few places close by, one walking distance, with food and drinks. Other services are located in Polebridge 4 miles north or a larger town, Columbia Falls, is located 30 miles south.
Please be mindful that the north fork area is unpaved and has no cell service!

The views are spectacular and the cabin is very serene. Have breakfast on your deck, enjoy a barbecue meal or sit by the fire inside of this perfect setting. It has a single bedroom with 1 queen bed, tv, dresser and a walk in closet. The living room has a gas fireplace, large tv and futon.

The space
This cabin is set up well to sleep up to 4. it has a comfortable queen bed in the bedroom. The living room has a queen futon for up to 2.more guests. the outside porch is truly terrific with a barbecue, benches for sitting and a table for eating meals outside and enjoying the Montana views while spotting wildlife

Guest access
The entire cabin is exclusively used for each guest. Guests can walk the roads and trails around to get better views of the wildlife. It's a very safe area.

Other things to note
Truly experience Montana wildlife from this perfect setting. Antelope come very close to this cabin and can be spotted leaving the fields eating daily and heading back to the foothills. Mule deer are plentiful as well as fox and ground squirrels.

Along the driveway where the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness can best be seen across our grassy pond, the view has always captivated us, so we dropped a tiny cabin here. It’s a magical rustic blend of off-grid simplicity and curated luxury.

The space
We built the Cabin with the intention of doing things differently and because we believe we’ve succeeded in this concept, finding the words to define it has been a challenge. It’s somewhere between guest lodge and summer camp.

When you come here, you have to expect that you’ll also be doing things differently. Like preparing your food over the outdoor fire or the outdoor cook stove, and heating water to wash the enamel plates in a basin after your meal. And in learning how to use the composting toilet (don’t worry, it’s in a room of its own off the front porch!). Instead of a shower, you’ll have a forest sauna and a dip in the creek. Bring your ice chest and your favorite camp cooking meals. You can find details on exactly what is provided below.

The single room has handcrafted custom everything from the queen sized bed to the built in counter. Outfitted with a blend of vintage treasures and thoughtfully sourced high quality pieces like the tiny wood stove with a glowing glass front and the organic linens inviting you in.

This is a space for you to soak in nature and connect over the campfire, or across the board game by the light of candles. When the sky is clear you’ll be able to stargaze from bed and when you wake you’ll be greeted by ducks on the pond and a ceramic mug waiting for it’s French pressed coffee. Slip on your boots and your coziest sweater for a walk down the driveway. Reconnect to the simplicity that is possible in this life.

Due to the rural location, you have access to hiking trails, lakes, ponds, and rivers literally within walking distance. Relax, go for a run, hike into the mountains, swim, whatever suits your fancy. This is a relatively secluded location. The cabin is within seeing distance to our main house where we live, and you'll also see another occupied cabin to the right of the pond (our friendly neighbors). We give you lots of privacy but are also happy to visit. We'll let you lead the way!

If you are going to visit us in the late Spring and early Summer months, know that mosquitos like to make themselves known, so do keep all windows and doors closed (every window and door has a screen!) and bring your bug spray! We usually have some handy as well.

Things to note:

SAUNA
You get to enjoy our wood fired sauna facing the forest. It's a gem! To access you will be walking by our house and through the yard to the sauna. We are happy to get it going for you, just ask :)

OUTDOOR KITCHEN
We've added a gorgeous outdoor kitchen to the property that we'd love to share with you. Fully equipped with a wood-fired pizza oven, a grill, and a propane stove. It's located near our main house as well. You can bring your cooking supplies from the cabin to enjoy.

WINTER
You will need to have a snow ready vehicle to get here, along with an understanding that at times you will have to do some light shoveling. We do a good job at keeping our driveway plowed, and we are right off of a plowed county road. But snow can still get deep so just be ready for that potential.

COMPANY
The cabin is located directly off our driveway so you will occasionally see us driving by. You are also near the main house which we occupy. There are neighbors who live on the other side of the pond as well. We like to note this here so that you aren't surprised when you arrive. Although the cabin and our home are secluded, there is still other life happening around the cabin itself.

NO WI-FI
We are located fully off grid and the cabin is not equipped with wifi. We did this intentionally as a way for our guests to disconnect from the noisiness and reconnect with themselves.

LITTLE TO NO CELL-SERVICE
Again, we're off grid. No power lines in site! You may get one or two bars, enough for texts to come through, but that's about it. When you head back into town service pops in around 3 miles in.

WATER
We do supply water from our well in a five gallon jug for cooking/drinking. It is delicious and if you end up needing more we're happy to get that for you!

WHERE YOU CAN ROAM
We are on a 15 acre parcel of land surrounded by lumber land and and neighbors. You are free to walk the driveway, roam the meadow and the forest, and more. We will have maps showing you the spaces you can be.

This family friendly cabin is located in the beautiful Mission Valley - midway between Kalispell and Missoula - at the base of North Crow Canyon. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer and climate control. One small bedroom with a queen bed downstairs and a loft with a second queen bed, a twin bed and a small sitting area upstairs provide ample sleeping space. A living area downstairs completes the space.

*NO PETS AND NO SMOKING.*

The space
The cabin is small and cozy. It is located in front of our home so you will have access to both the cabin grounds and ours. At the moment, we have two horses (the paint is named Ellie, the other is Hazel), a cow (Callie) and her sweet little bull calf (Zeus) roaming our pastures. You are welcome to pet them through the fences anytime. If you would like to enter the pastures for more direct access, or to splash in the creek, please ask first. For safety reasons, we must accompany you but we are happy to do so. On a clear day, you can see mountains in every direction and the Town of Ronan in the valley just below us.

Guest access
You will have private access to the entire cabin during your stay.

Other things to note
There is a walking trail just on the other side of the canal (the waterway you cross on the bridge as you approach the cabin). If you choose to stroll this trail, or if you're out at the creek, especially early or late in the day, be bear and mountain lion aware. We have LOTS of bears in the area, both black and grizzly. Mountain lions frequent the area also.
