We took a UTV tour with Luke, it was exceptional! The cruiser bikes were nice to have. My husband and I took evening rides along the road around the property to see the mule deer. The breakfast at the Paradox grill was delicious, and the other meals there are good. The only thing I would suggest that would make this place 5 star resort and perfect would be to have air in the fitness room and someone at the front desk at all times.Over all, We had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning!"

Check-in was very easy - they sent an email prior to arrival with instructions for accessing the site and the tent. If you prefer not to cook, there is a fun restaurant across the street, along with the adventure outfitters (ziplining & rafting). We used these services and everything was super convenient. Some reviews mentioned highway noise, but that was not an issue for us at all. We absolutely would stay there again!"

The space

The cabin is recently remodeled and features a large kitchen with full size appliances and all the dishes, a desk space, a king size bed a double sofa bed with all the linens. Outdoor games, seating, dining and grill as well. Located at 9200 feet elevation in a neighborhood with couple of homes near by, on 1 1/2 acres. Last 10 minutes is on a gravel curvy road, All Wheel drive is recommended November through April.

The entire cabin and 1 1/2 acres of wooded space is available along with the outdoor grill and picnic table. We have outdoor horseshoes and corn hole games, a bench hidden in the trees to enjoy sunsets, along with 2 chairs on the front porch and 2 portable camping chairs for you to take out to the trees and enjoy nature.

No outside fires are allowed on the property and please do not feed the wildlife. This is a non smoking home. There are 3 steps down into the bathroom.

Sportsman's Lodge is in Colorado's Poudre Canyon, by the Cache la Poudre River. Enjoy trout fishing, nearby lakes, and wildlife such as mule deer and bighorn sheep.

Nestled in our elm forest, the casita is a private and tranquil oasis. This home was naturally built with earth based materials. Our cozy cabin sits perfectly hidden away in the Hermosa Valley. Halfway between downtown Durango and Purgatory Ski Resort, our home is in a prime location for all your family wishes to do and experience while in Durango.
Our cabin sleeps 4 with a king bedroom and sleeper sofa in the living room and 1 bathroom. We have books, games, smart tv and a Pac-man arcade game to keep you entertained while in our home. Our kitchen is fully stocked with all the comforts of home. Come and enjoy our cabin!

The space
Our newly remodeled home is the perfect place for your next vacation. The rustic feel of the furniture and extra woodwork touches throughout will really get you in the mood to get out and explore all that our area has to offer. You'll love checking out all of the antiques we have decorating our walls, including on the facade of our home.

We are approx 12 minutes from downtown Durango and 15 minutes to Purgatory ski resort. There is plenty of great hiking trails within minutes of our home. PJ's grocery store is 5 miles down the road as is the newly remodeled Durango Hot Spring.

Staying in this home ensures a parking space for one passenger vehicle. If you need space for a 2nd vehicle, you just need to contact me in advance and I will make arrangements for you to be able to park that 2nd vehicle.

Anything other than a passenger vehicle (ie - trailer, camper, etc) must also be advised in advance. It can most likely be accommodated but in order to ensure a space, you must let me know in advance.

The space
Entering the cabin, we have a small bench upon . Behind the door you will notice the small room with a washer and dryer. Entering from the right side there is an open space living room with a beautiful rustic feel and wooden construction. It has a beautiful wood-burning fireplace that will make your stay sensational! A glass door to the terrace. You can hear the river and see the mountains. To the right you will see the kitchen and a second dining room, ideal for children, or a comfortable living room. With door from the kitchen that leads to the terrace. The terrace has a beautiful seating area, heating and grill for cooking. From the living room you will notice the hallway that leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The room on the left is the children's room with a double sofa bed with double mattress, a small desk and a closet, the next room on the right is a queen bed and two small windows with a view of the river. There is a first full bathroom with a shower, plenty of towels and toilet paper. Ending the hallway with the master bedroom, with a glass door, to exit at the end of the deck, a small coffee table so you can enjoy the outdoors with a morning coffee. The main bathroom is large and has towels, toilet paper and ironing board available for your use.

It is in a trailers park area and you have access to everything that is inside the fence and in the cabin, down to the access to the river, there is a fire pit in place to roast marshmallows. Firewood is available at the back of the cabin, in a closet on the side of the front door, in the same fenced area. Please do not disturb any neighbors during your stay.

Around the cabin there is plenty of activity to do outdoors. AVA rafting, zipline, razors, 5 minutes from Indian Hot Springs and 30 minutes from the nearest skii area.

We do have security cameras, one in the main entry door, and the other entering through the deck, facing the parking space and fence door.

Pets are allowed and should be in your reservation, if a service animal is joining you, please also inform us when you have made your reservation, so we can better plan our cleaning crew. Pets are NOT allowed in beds, couches or any furniture in the cabin, if we see any pet hair on any beds, couches or blankets you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $200. Additional $50 will be added if you do not clean your pets poop and if any urine or poop is found inside the cabin an additional $100.

We do NOT allow parties. Everyone in your reservation should be listed. There are a maximum of 8 people allowed.

If you are staying for more than 20 days (up to 30 days) we are going to add a complimentary cleaning, to come and clean while you are in the cabin.

Trash should never be outside the cabin and taken out to the big trash bin in the entrance of the trailer park. DO NOT leave trash out, this will attract wild animals. Wildlife have been seen near, deer, elk, bears, fox, bats, birds, squirrels. Do not feed the animals.

When we say cabin we are referring to the definition from oxford languages: a small shelter or house, made of wood and situated in a wild or remote area.

In rural areas there is always a risk of some different smells, perhaps sometimes a bit of drainage which is eliminated by running hot water.
Do not leave food outside the property to avoid the presence of animals.

The cabin is a stunning 360 sq ft handcrafted woodwork home situated on a gated 43-acre property with access to private walking trails and panoramic views of Pikes Peak that will take your breath away.

The peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the cabin instantly enables one to forget about the busyness of life and rest and/or focus on a birthday, anniversary, or personal retreat. The hot tub is filled with fresh water for every guest.

The space
Escape to the mountains of Colorado and experience the ultimate combination of modern and rustic in this cozy cabin retreat. Built in the 1890's with 12" thick walls, this delightful space will transport you back in time with its beautiful, handcrafted woodwork.

With a spacious covered patio and access to private walking trails through picturesque forest and meadows, this place has everything you need for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation, retreat or romantic getaway.

Enjoy the mountain view with a restored pioneer covered wagon in the foreground. The wheels and axels are original from the late 1800's, but the box has been restored so you can pose for pictures with Pikes Peak as a backdrop.

Enjoy observing wildlife in their natural habitat, including deer, owls, rabbits, and a variety of birds, with occasional elk sightings.

While sipping coffee, tea or wine in the Adirondack rocking chairs on the covered patio, witness breathtaking views of double rainbows, radiant sunrises, and /or lingering evening alpenglow on Pikes peak, America’s most visited mountain.

While enjoying the view, feel the warmth of a fire in the fire pit, relax in the cedar barrel sauna, an Artic Spa Hot Tub (being installed in February 2025, pictures coming), or play an unforgettable game of horseshoes!

If you are planning on riding ATVs in the nearby National Forest, there is ample space and secure parking for your ATV trailer.

Moving inside, the quartz counter-topped kitchen is fully equipped including items such as a reverse osmosis water filter, gas stove, oven, microwave, full sized fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, dishes, utensils and pots and pans needed for preparing delicious meals. In addition, the BBQ grill is available year-round.

In addition to the queen captains' bed, a sofa/futon bed folds out to a comfortable full-size mattress that can sleep 1 adult or 2 children. Rest your head on premium hotel grade pillows: your choice of goose down feather pillows or non-feather pillows.

For your comfort, protection and as a sign of outstanding cleanliness, all beds are prepared with quality linens, clean ironed sheets, down duvets, freshly laundered duvet covers and bedspreads, mattress protectors and pillow protectors.

If you like your mattress extra soft, we have a mattress topper available upon request.

The smart TV provides access to 100's of internet TV channels and apps like YouTube, with the option to add your own account credentials for account-based apps like Netflix. Alternatively, you can simply screen share from your laptop or phone.

The many large windows provide refreshing ventilation on warm summer days. Evenings in the summer are rarely over 60F and daytime highs are usually mid 70's and rarely hit 80F. This is the perfect retreat from the summer heat.

Fall and winter are exceptional times at the cabin with brilliant autumn colors and scenic winter snowscapes outside and a warm romantic atmosphere inside. Enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations throughout November and December.

There is beautiful snowfall in the winter months. All roads to and on the property are well maintained and plowed to ensure easy passage with your two-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle.

After you make your reservation, we will make available to you our tour guidebook. In the book there are over 50 attractions in the area, including restaurants, outdoor adventures, tourist stops, parks and driving tours. Most of these attractions are available all year round. During ski season, you can enjoy an early breakfast at the cabin, leave at 7:30 and be at the Breckenridge ski area when they open for a day of skiing.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire cabin and 43 acres of forest and meadows. If you plan to arrive on the same day you book, please confirm the check-in time with us.

The trails and the forest on the property are shared with the owner and other guests. This place is ideal for celebrating special occasions like a honeymoon or anniversary.

Additional Guests
Peace and security are an important feature of this property. Therefore, only registered guests are allowed on the property. Additional guests must be pre-registered via the Airbnb app.

No parties or events are allowed.

The Cabin must remain "Allergy Free" from any pets. Having a Certified Service Dog requires prior approval along with a non-refundable pet deposit of $350 paid in advance. There are no exceptions to this requirement.

This four-bedroom log home (Vino Cabina) is associated with Bella Bolettino Organic Farms on North River Road, just across the road. Enjoy amazing views of the Grand Mesa, Colorado River, orchards, and vineyards.

The space
This cabin was fully remodeled in 2022. New windows, doors, flooring, renovated kitchen, and bathrooms. You can bike or walk to downtown Palisade. The hosts live across North Rive Road, so feel free to come over and pick up organic eggs, launch your paddle board from our riverfront, or eat some fresh peaches! We can help arrange wine tours, offer ideas for enjoying the community, and some hidden gems to fully enjoy your stay.

The space
We have 7 riverfront side-by-side (duplex) cabins (a total of 14 units on the property). You'll have your own private covered deck, in-room jetted spa tub, and private entrance. There is no adjoining door between the cabins. All cabins are ground-level entry and do not have stairs within the interior.
