It snowed while we were there so then we couldn't get in or out of our vehicle without stepping in the mud. Cleanliness--downstairs bathroom was not clean! Shower/tub had a ring, dirt on floor and in window sill. All light fixtures throughout house full of cobwebs. Upstairs bathroom was fairly clean and all bedding and towels were clean but overall deep cleaning definently needed to be done. Overall a good stay."

Other things to note
Our dog "Muddy" only barks if someone is in "our" yard. So if you go out the front door of the cottage he will bark at you. He is an awesome guardian. He will protect you also.

This 1890 fully updated, fully furnished, quiet cottage is located two blocks from the center of downtown Colorado Springs and one block from city connected bike trails and running paths. It sits back on the lot to insure privacy and a quiet stay. The property is surrounded by fences, a well lit sidewalk, and motion sensors, which allow for a secure, safe stay. We are definitely animal lovers, but due to allergies of many guests, no pets are allowed.

The space
Our property has two floors. On the main floor you will find one bedroom with 2 XL twin beds and the half bath. On the second level you will find the queen bedroom and full bath/shower combo.

The front door has a keyless entry in which we will send the code before arrival. There is a lock box as well with a back up key, in case the keyless entry fails.

We designed this space specifically for you. It is set up like a studio with a fully equipped kitchen, King Size Bed, Large TV, and a spa like shower with two shower heads, one being a rain shower that is excessively large. We built the type of place we would stay in while traveling and hope you love it as much as we do.

This is a totally separate Carriage Home with no shared walls. We also rent the red brick home that shares the lot to travelers. We live nearby are available if you need us! The only time you may interact with other guests is in the drive way or walking through the wooden gate.

Other things to note
The carriage house is 1 of 3 separate listings at this same property. You will not have any shared space but you may pass each other near the driveway. We have the best guests and encourage a warm hello if you see another guest in passing!
