You will love staying in this beautiful, newly renovated, clean & spacious 1100 sq. ft. cottage. Centrally located on East Boulder/Louisville line the property is only a few minutes into Boulder and downtown Louisville, it is close to outdoor activities, CU, great views, and dining. A perfect retreat for up to 5 guests, the cottage has a large master bedroom w/ king bed, second bedroom has a queen bed. It has a fully equipped kitchen, open floor plan, new front loader washer/dryer, large private covered patio & fenced grassy yard in a peaceful, country setting. House in a quiet neighborhood with many mature trees. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and living room on main floor, basement has TV room and ping-pong table. There is also a bed in the upstairs landing area. Big yard, with a new front covered front porch with couch and chairs.
Two blocks to shopping area with a grocery store, coffee shops, liquor store and restaurants. Three blocks to a city recreation center, Boulder's downtown is a 6-8 blocks to the south. El Dora Ski area is a 35 minute drive to the west.

This charming historic 100+ year old miner's cottage has been lovingly restored with a modern farmhouse chic feel. The home is one block away from old town Louisville with a three minute walk to many restaurants, coffee shops and small business retail shops.
There is a small but well equipped kitchen, complete with fridge, microwave, drip coffee maker, gas stove and oven. There is a kitchen counter with seats for 4. There are two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. The master has a shower and the queen has a tub. The beds have comfy memory foam feather free mattresses and down-free duvets. There is a comfy couch in the living room and a mounted LG smart tv. We provide Hulu live tv and Disney plus for your convenience.
We are happy to provide a pack and play and high chair upon request.
Louisville is an eclectic neighborhood nestled between Boulder (10 miles away) and Denver (25 miles away) and is often ranked by MONEY as Best Places to Live. During the summer there are outdoor concerts and a lively farmer's market. The house has easy access to biking and hiking trails.
Free guest parking is available on the street. There is a bus stop right outside the house with easy access to Boulder (RTD DASH). Boulder is 10 minutes away and Denver is 25 minutes away.

1. BEFORE BOOKING be aware that THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS are PROHIBITED by VRBO. If you are not going to be staying here, you can't make a reservation for anyone else under your personal account.
2. Unregistered guests are a violation of VRBO terms of service. No surprise VISITORS. If you would like to bring a visitor over, let us know in advance so we can authorize it.
3. We highly recommend that our guests obtain traveler's insurance for their trip. This helps to safeguard your trip for any delays, interruptions and cancellations due to weather, COVID or any unforeseen events. Please do your research and make a determination based on your specific travel needs.
4. To maintain a safe and fun environment, there is a STRICT NO PARTYING, NO SMOKING/NO DRUGS policy (including vaping). Be respectful towards the neighbors and keep the noise down, especially between 10pm and 8am.
5. Violation of our no smoking/vaping policy, including the use of marajuana WILL result in a $500 fine and a bad review.
6. If there is an suspicion of smoking of any type in the house it will be treated as a violation of the no smoking/vaping policy and appropriate action will be taken, including additional fees and a bad review. Please consider NOT smoking outside the doors, under the porch, in the garage or by the windows. Please consider not smoking during your stay.
7. Please be respectful! At the end of your stay please put things back the way you found them and leave all areas CLEAN AND TIDY. The booked guests agree to reimburse and/or compensate the host, through the VRBO security deposit for any damages, extra cleaning and/or losses caused at any time during their stay at the property.
8. As per town and county ordinance, No fires are allowed ANYWHERE on the property including the deck and yard.
9. Late check out can sometimes be provided, but please inquire in advance. If you arrive earlier than your check in time, without the host's permission, you will be charged overstay fees. If we can accommodate, there will be an additional charge of $75.
10. The property has a video camera placed on the front porch. The camera is motion-activated and passive surveillance footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy, weather and other policies noted here. If does not infringe upon the expectation of privacy in highly visible areas of the property. To disable or obscure the camera is prohibited and may result in cancellation of your reservation.
11. Guests may not receive mail or packages at the house or give the address to any companies or in any way communicate that it is their residence without the express written consent from the host. Any unauthorized mail will be returned to sender. Guests cannot register or hold business meetings on the property without the express written consent and authorization from the host.
12. If you have a complaint about the property, maintenance or cleaning, you are granting us permission to enter the property to address the issue. We will coordinate with you a good time to come over.
13. Noncompliance of these house rules may result in cancellation of your reservation, forfeiture of your security deposit, eviction from the premises and possibly other additional fees and penalties. By booking this space, you agree that you have read and acknowledged these house rules and you give your consent that you will abide by them!

You found it! The perfect blend of comfort and style in our detached Carriage House, in Prospect - voted one of the best neighborhoods. It seriously is a great neighborhood. Recently updated with midcentury modern charm, this thoughtfully designed space offers a cozy yet modern retreat. The neighborhood is very walkable with restaurants & shops within less than a five minute walk.
Located in the perfect spot... 20 minutes to Boulder, 45 minutes to Estes Park & the Rocky Mountains, and 40 minutes to the airport.
This carriage house has all the amenities, including a Moccamaster coffee machine, AC, washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. The queen-size bedroom has a full closet; the living room couch also has a full-size bed to accommodate additional guests. After a day exploring the mountains, or shopping on Pearl Street, unwind on your private balcony.

Quaint stone cottage 20 mins from Estes park. 3 miles from Wild basin entrance to RMNP and the Wild Basin Wedding Venue, 5 miles from Longs Peak TH and 4 miles from St. Catherine's Chapel on the Rock. A meandering creek make this the perfect location to relax and renew your energy with a sounds of a brook that flows in front of the house. Please be aware that guests should expect snow/ice conditions when renting in October through May. 4WD/AWD required. Check weather conditions before leaving.

If you are seeking complete privacy and no interaction with hosts, this may not be the ideal choice, as we maintain an involved and friendly presence.

This space is a small cottage. It was newly refurbished in 2014 and contains everything you could use on a vacation. Our home is very separate and therefore you can have little contact with the hosts.

Enjoy a quiet place to call home. Close to Boulder, Longmont and Historic Niwot...just 30 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park and Eldora Ski Area...the locals favorite skiing away from the crowds! Denver is a short drive, many amazing breweries all close by... A perfect 5 star cottage!
Our private cottage is nestled under huge cottonwoods. Four miles from downtown Boulder, University of Colorado campus. Two miles from historic Niwot. Thirty minutes from Eldora ski area, and Estes Park. 5 miles from Longmont. Near great restaurants and shopping Location is perfect.
Access to left hand creek on the property. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Private parking. Cable and internet, no modem for cable internet.

you have full access to the entire cottage. There is one private door in the closet that leads to the shop area. This is off limits except for storage of your bikes.
Other things to note
Late night check ins are possible however the cottage is hard to find on the property. It is very secluded. Therefore regardless of your arrival time it is essential to contact Greg an hour before arrival. We will leave the lights on and provide great directions to the front door. You can make yourself at home.
Enjoy the wilderness of CO just a short drive (or long walk) to town.
The space
This rustic little cottage sits right next to the creek on 6 acres of wilderness. You have access to hiking trails with no need to drive and a lodge with live music and drinks a short walk up the creek. The home is older and we are in the process of giving it the tlc it deserves, so please excuse some repairs in process.
There is a full size bed in the attic loft, futon style couch in the “bedroom” on the main floor, pull out sofa in the main living room, and an air mattress for extra sleeping space.

My cat, Billy, will be staying at the house while you are here, so please give him some space at first and if you desire he will likely come check you out and ask for some love. He is a garden cat and enjoys going outside. ***Previously we had issues with him not being able to get to the restroom and so he is now using a litter box to prevent accidents during your stay.

Welcome to our home. It's our haven. We share it when we go out of town.
Upon entering, you feel transported and inspired. Our house is at once, spacious and cabin-like. Walk two blocks to Whole Foods, two coffee shops, two bakeries, a wine shop, ice cream shop, several eateries and a gift shop. The famous Pearl Street Mall is just a ten minute walk!

The space
The stone cottage was built in 1938 as a mill (we don't know of what) with a1960's addition in front. It sits on what was First Avenue long ago. The street can be a little busy especially during the school year with drop off/ pickup at a middle school and small high school nearby.
You could get by without a car. We're two blocks from a major transit corridor and a bikeshare station. A ten minute walk will get you to the famous Pearl Street Mall and from the mall, walk another fifteen minutes to the University of Colorado quad.
Our clothes dryer is the bright Colorado sun. We cook most of our meals daily, so the kitchen can well accommodate cooks. We do not have a microwave. The refrigerator has no ice maker, but, heck, who puts ice in red wine? Kidding aside, there are a couple of ice trays in the freezer.

We live in our house full time and occasionally share it with guests when we go out of town. If you’re looking for a sterile hotel-like experience, our home may not be what you are looking for.
You'll have access to the entire downstairs. Upstairs, you'll have access to the master bedroom and bathroom except for the loft area above. We make four small drawers available in the bedroom dresser, some hangers and space available in the closet, along with a bench and chair for placing suitcases. All other drawers and closets in the bedroom are private. The door to the office/studio is locked. There's a small sitting area in the backyard that is very comfortable most of the time. Guests do not have access to the woodstove.
We have a dog and do our very best to remove evidence. However, our place may not work for you if you are allergic.
If it's in season, you may pick any ripe vegetables, blackberries or flowers from our beloved garden during your stay!
