With no shared spaces or walls, a large private deck with beautiful scenery, this is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring! Or cuddle up with the elegant electric fireplace, and watch your favorite streaming services on a 50" TV and just stay in and relax. The modern kitchen makes cooking simple & convenient and the stunning bathroom with 2 shower heads will leave you refreshed, never wanting to leave!

The Bird House is a studio style living arrangement, above a detached garage, that we designed with comfort and convenience in mind. You will find everything you need for a couple nights or several months in this completely private space. No shared walls, no shared living space, and tons of privacy on the back deck! As you arrive at our quiet, charming neighborhood you will find plenty of parking in front of our home. Checking in is as simple as entering a 4-digit code and walking in. Inside you will be greeted by beautiful new, modern finishes and you will immediately feel at home!

Kitchen
One of our guest favorite amenity is the kitchen. You will find a full-size refrigerator, 2 burner electric cooktop, a convection microwave (we do not have a traditional oven, but the microwave can heat just like one), sink and dishwasher. We also stock the kitchen with the majority of supplies you will need for cooking and dining. Such as, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, pots, pans, mixing bowls, a Keurig with supplied K-cups, a regular coffee maker, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, knives, cooking utensils, toaster and a Britta purified water pitcher.

Living Room
Weather you plan to be out exploring for most of your stay, or you just want a place to relax and escape the world you will enjoy the entertainment provided in the Bird House. You will find a comfy sofa and chair to relax and watch the 50” TV. We provide your favorite streaming service such as Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. You are also welcomed to sign into your personal accounts on the smart TV. Tired of binging TV? Turn on the XBOX 360 and choose a game from a large variety of games or put a movie in the Blu-Ray from our selection. Want to warm up a bit more or set the mood for a romantic evening? Turn on the electric fireplace, with or without the heat, and enjoy the ambiance.

Sleeping
The main bed is a very comfy queen mattress on a custom murphy bed. The murphy bed is designed to fold up to make more space if needed. No expense was spared with the sleeping arrangements as a good night sleep is one of the most important factors for a great stay! There is also a desk that can be flipped out when the murphy bed is up! You will find another bed as a queen sleeper sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress. I like to let our reviews to speak for themselves and the mattresses are always very important. (From Leslie, we were exhausted in the evening, and the beds were so comfy - even the sofa sleeper!)

Bathroom
The bathroom is a small, but a stunning ¾ bath (no bathtub). The shower has both a traditional shower head and a rain shower head that can be controlled independently for ultimate comfort.

Outdoor Space
Walk out the French doors onto a beautiful and peaceful deck. At over 20’ wide you will find a table for 4 to enjoy a peaceful meal, a sofa to relax while drinking your morning coffee and watch the sun rise over the lake! Out the front windows and over the North West side of the deck you can get a small view of the Rocky Mountains. You may also use the gate in our backyard to access miles of trails around the different neighborhoods and a walk around the lake, just know this is our space and our dogs may come out to say hello! The views of the Rocky Mountains from the lake are amazing! This is by far my favorite part of our place, enjoying the scenery and fresh air!

Other things to know
You will also find an all in one washer and dryer in the walk-in closet making long term stays very convenient. No need to move from the washer to the dryer, this one machine does both!
420 Friendly – It’s Colorado, it’s legal, so have some fun. Just please be respectful and do not smoke inside and please keep the windows and doors closed while smoking. The deck is a perfect location to partake, please just be respectful of our neighbors and their kids. Be discrete please.
Window coverings are designed for privacy when needed but still allow for natural light with adjustable shutters, top down bottom up blinds and sheer or blackout curtains. When they are all closed you can easily sleep during the day if needed.
We do live in the main home that you can see in the last picture. If you read through the reviews, many people will mention how private the place is. With the deck being on the back you will hardly ever see us unless we are also enjoying the backyard. We do use the garage below you, however you can hardly hear it open with how well insulated the floor is.
We do have 2 dogs. They are both friendly but our white dog, Varly, will bark at you if he is outside until he is comfortable with you, then he just wants to kiss you. They have no access to you unless you choose to enter our backyard. If you are missing your own dogs, or just want to say hello, please feel free to but always close gates behind you and do not let them out of the fenced area.
Pack and play as well as a baby gate are available for your use in the Bird House for those traveling with children.

- "Great home in a quiet neighborhood!" - "We were there for a granddaughter graduation. The house allowed us to be 2 blocks from our family. Close to all events we were interested in i.e. Estes Park, Loveland, Red Rocks, Morrison and a quick trip to Terry Bison Ranch Park in Cheynne. The space in the house allowed us to have one of our son's family and a sister to stay with the two of us. We were able to spread out and have plenty of room. The laundry was a great benefit. My son discovered the love of a steamer for preparing clothing for activities. The kitchen was spacious and allowed us to prep food and have a great picnic atmosphere in the back yard. We had plenty of room for all three of our sons and four grandchildren to stop by for dinner and fire pit in the back yard one night. It was a great family time for all. We were blessed to have stayed."

Our place is very private - just 3 miles from I-25 with magnificent views of the Front Range. We have 4 acres in the middle of farm land and share it with goats and Maddie. Maddie is a “free range” pig who loves roaming the property and saying hello. The space is private and has a full kitchen/bath and W/D. We are centrally located between Estes Park (and Rocky Mountain NP) , Boulder, Ft. Collins, Denver, Greeley, Loveland and Longmont.

The private apartment is in the lower level of the house separated by a locked door with free Wifi. The space was recently remodeled and has a private entrance and patio area (with patio furniture). The unit has one bedroom (with a queen size bed) and a bathroom having a full tub/shower. There is a stacked washer/dryer in the unit. There is also a pull-out, full-size, sleeper sofa that works well for one adult or two children. The kitchen is well equipped with a full oven/stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and an ice maker in the freezer. A table with a fold-up side and office chair make for ample work space if needed. There is a walk-in closet with large shelves along with ample space for suit cases. Iron and ironing board are also provided. For entertainment there are a variety of games, a TV for streaming, a swing to sit and watch the goats, and lounge chairs to enjoy the spectacular mountain views. There is no dedicated air-conditioning in the unit, but the space naturally stays cool as it's in the lower level of the house.

The driveway is open at all times with signs directing guests where to park. The private entrance has a keyless entry for security and convenience. There is an uneven gravel path sloping slightly downward from the parking area, around back of the house to the private entrance. The path that has pathway lighting at night. There is no smoking on the property at any time.

It is a Very Quiet, Non "Through Street" with St. Vrain Greenway Bike Path along the Lefthand Creek right across the Street near Rec Center.
I have two Loaner Bikes available. for $5 a Day, $15 a Week and $40 a Month. We have a Lucky's Natural Market right near Big Lots & Modern Market. Nearby Gas Stations with Cheapest Gas nearby, Restaurants, Internet Cafes, Mexican Deli, Post Office, Hardwares store, Lowe's, Banks & Drugstore - all within a mile away!

Plenty of Free Parking for small or larger vehicle/bikes. St. Vrain Parkway goes all the Way to Boulder by Bike path in a half hour or more bike ride.
Bicycles available for Rent with Locks. I have 2 loaner bikes for rent for $5 a day, $15 a week or $40 a month or Karma Yoga Trade. Nearby Bus Stop to Surrounding Towns. 10 minutes by Car to Niwot, 20 minutes to Downtown Boulder, 15 Min. to Lafayette and Louisville, 45 Min. to Denver & Ft. Collins.

There is a Recreation Center right down the Street. I have Guest Passes available for a Small Fee of $3.75 per use, or $30 a month (unlimited use) when available. Swimming Pool with Slides, Indoor Running Track, Jacuzzi tub, Dry & Wet Saunas, Pilates/Yoga and other Fitness Classes, Weight Room and Climbing Wall all located at Longmont Recreation Center less than a mile away down the Bike Path.

There is a designated, sterile Dishwashing area on the right side of the sink in the Washroom with kitchen sponges & Dish liquid. On the left side of the sink is a Hand washing area with Hand soap & Hand sanitizer & counter sponge.
*If you do not feel comfortable with this arrangement,
a BusTub is provided as a Service to you for difficult items to wash.

During your stay
I am available by phone and in Person for Check In and Texts during certain hours. I Prefer to have a Text or Phone conversation first to make arrangements to meet. I can sometimes arrange a pick up from Bus stop or station. In either case, I will be home to Greet you & do Check In, show you around & give you Key-code & Instructions to the House & Amenities as well as show you around the Neighborhood... either by Maps or In-Person if time permits. Often we will share a Meal or Tea & Conversation. I Offer Coffee, Tea, Homemade Kombucha, hard, boiled eggs, fruit, snacks & meal items.

Other things to note
There is a Sweet, Playful Kitty in the house but she does not go into upstairs rooms to enter the Large Bedroom, Hardwood Floors or the Purple Room. She may enter Main Bathroom for Litterbox. Mostly, she uses backyard in Daytime.

The space
Sunny west facing room with a mountain view in a quiet residential neighborhood close to downtown. Room has a spacious closet, dresser, desk and room for yoga. Just across the hallway is a modern tile upsized shower/tub with bench seat. Feel free to use the TV in the living room. It has chromecast. There's a large quiet backyard with several quiet places and a hammock if you need a place to relax.

Guests have access to living room, large gourmet kitchen with granite counter top, microwave, oven, burr grinder for morning coffee and of course a toaster. Don is a coffee aficionado and is always happy to share. Laundry is downstairs. Relax in our generous backyard and garden equipped with outdoor seating for an alfresco dinner. Sneak away to the hammock hanging under the apple tree for quiet time or simply watching the wild birds at the feeder.

This is a small alpaca ranch with 2 indoor cats, chickens, guinea fowl, and turtles . Close to Longmont, Berthoud, Loveland, Estes Park and Boulder. The perfect basecamp for the best Colorado has to offer. The common space is shared with two other airbnb rooms and the host.
Hurry up and get here, so you can slow down. Rent this corner room with a full sized bed in a home located on a couple acres just outside of Longmont.

The space
This is a home on two acres that we share with 10 adult alpacas, chickens, guinea fowl and two mud turtles. But I also I have 2 cats. 1 is an oriental shorthairs which means he is low to no allergen cat. I also have 1 domestic shorthair which is your standard cat and some people maybe allergic to it. If you have allergies, you may wish to bring allergy medicine.

The room is private. The common spaces include, the great room with kitchen and living room, as well as the patio.

The farm is private but we will happily give you a tour and let you kiss an alpaca.

The pastures surround the house, so you will see the alpacas throughout the day.

You get the top floor of the house to yourself. My place is close to downtown (about 3 miles from the Pearl Street walking mall), art and culture, restaurants, shopping, parks, and great views. A lead-in to an open space trail runs next to the house for quick bike access to either downtown, University of Colorado or open space. My place is open and airy with views of the mountains.

The master bedroom/bath suite is on the second floor which provides a private living space.

The space
The house is cozy, next to a path that leads to one of Boulder's open space trails so it is pleasant and quiet. There's a nice flagstone patio backyard with a couple of large trees that provide nice shading - a nice place to hang out or do work when the weather is nice. You have the top floor of the house to yourself with private bedroom/bath suite and an office area.

Guests have their own master bedroom/bathroom suite and office space upstairs and shared access to the kitchen, living and dining room and backyard.

During your stay
I work during the week but am available in the evenings and weekends and by telephone for any questions or guidance.
