Centrally located. 30 minutes from Denver International Airport, 20 minutes to Downtown Boulder, Downtown Denver and Golden. Dog friendly home and neighborhood. Perfect for exploring the Colorado Front Range.
Whether you are in town visiting family, taking in all the wonderful things the Colorado Front Range has to offer, in town on business for a few days or few weeks, or just passing through on your way from Denver Airport to some of our beautiful mountain areas, I invite you to enjoy my clean, well equipped 1,500 sq ft two story townhome with a dedicated workspace and full sized washer and dryer. Please note that both bedrooms and full bathrooms are upstairs so my place is not ideal for those with mobility issues.
The kitchen is fully equipped with most everything you need for preparing anything from a cup of coffee to a snack to a holiday meal including a food processor, juicer, blender, drip coffee maker, Keurig and more.
The home has a fenced patio area with gas grill and table and chairs for outdoor dining. Use the attached 2 car garage to keep your car and yourself out of the elements as you come and go on your adventures.
I have a Pack-N-Play and a highchair available if you have little ones. Each of the two upstairs bedrooms is equipped with a queen-size bed, a TV (steaming only), bath robes and plenty of pillows. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite bath with dual sinks and a walk-in shower. The second bath is steps down the hall from the second bedroom and has a tub/shower combo. Both bathrooms have everything you need from towels and shampoo to blow dryers, makeup cloths and first aid kits. Don’t miss a beat at work if you need to stay connected.
There is a dedicated office upstairs equipped with a printer, and 2 monitors, a keyboard and a mouse all connected via a USB laptop docking station. Plug in and go!
Staying for a few days or spilled something on that shirt you just bought? You can pack lighter or take care of the stain using the full-size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board upstairs.
Travelling with fido? The house is dog (only) friendly for up to 2 of your furry family members. There is a nominal pet fee, but the home and neighborhood are dog friendly. There is an open space area to walk your pup mere steps away and there are plenty of sidewalks right out the front door with pet pickup stations throughout the neighborhood. There is a dog crate and blanket stored in the garage if you need it. Additionally, I can supply you with an extensive list of breweries and restaurants with dog friendly patios that are all just minutes away by car.
You will have access to the entire home except for a linen closet upstairs and a cabinet in the garage in which I keep supplies to make each guests stay enjoyable.

You will have this single-family home all to yourself. This is a great house if you are visiting family in the area, if you plan to visit multiple areas like Denver/Boulder/Golden, or if you are moving to town!

This house is also set-up for longer term stays with a washer/dryer and an office that is perfect for working remote. The house fits a couple with a furry dog friend or a small family. No cats, sorry.

Pets must be house trained and must not urinate or defecate in the house. If any of these house rules are violated you will automatically be charged an additional $200.

We have a detached 2BR guest house on our property that is clean, private, and comfortable. Next to a neighborhood park if you want to walk or play.

This guest house is in our backyard, so you have your own space with privacy away from our main house and away from the road. Two comfortable bedrooms with queen beds, spacious full kitchen, clean bathroom, and a living room with a sleeper couch. Sleeper couch is comfortable sleeping and has a soft mattress topper, which further helps. Kitchen has coffee, teas, and everything you need to prepare meals. TV has roku with apps. Driveway parking space available. Windows and backyard have partial views of the mountains. Next door to a neighborhood park with charcoal grills, basketball court, and horseshoe pits. 10min to Tennyson Street, Denver 15min to downtown Denver 20min to Red Rocks park and amphitheater 25min to Boulder 1 hour to 1 hour and a half to most front range 14K mtn. trailheads 1 hour and 20min to Rocky Mtn. The detached guest house is yours. We have a locking key code system to secure this detached unit. Access to the guest house through a closed gate from our driveway and into the backyard. My wife and I live in the separate main house across the yard. We are certainly available if you need anything. Otherwise, you have your own house with total privacy.

Please leave the place as you found it. We take the time to prepare a clean and organized space for each group of guests when they arrive. We ask you show us the same high level of respect and leave our place in a clean and organized condition. Consider how you would like house guests to treat your own home. We like to consider this as more of a homey and charming experience than a hotel. The $200 "Deposit" is for damage, theft, or breakage. It would only be claimed after checkout for the reasons above. If common sense is used to treat our guest house with respect and leave it clean, we will not claim the deposit. We do not allow any smoking inside.

We are dog lovers and are pet friendly, provided they are well behaved and house trained. The fee for pets is $50. Maximum is two pets. The pets should be on the floor, not on the bed or couch. We expect the “leave no trace” principle to be respected when your pet stays at our guest house. The backyard is shared with us and we ask that you supervise your dog if playing in the yard. We have young kids who play in the yard, so we ask that your dog goes to the bathroom at the park neighboring our property (literally right next door). If you would like to bring a pet, please indicate to me what type of pet and how large.

Be respectful of the noise level coming out of your house, especially after 10PM.

We have two security cameras on the outside of our property: one is a ring doorbell outside our main house, the other is a backyard security camera.

This is a lower level unit! You will access the unit from the side of the house with an electronic keypad and will be sent the code on the day of check in. The kitchen is brand new- equipped with an oven, stove and full size fridge. The dining table can accommodate 6 people. The living room is spacious- a desk is provided, electric fire place and smart TV. There are two bedrooms- queen tempurpedic beds, small dressers and closet space available!

Private entrance on the side of the house, under car port. The driveway can accommodate 2 vehicles.

This is a residential neighborhood/suburb. The house has many fast food chains within a 5 minute drive. Grocery store, King Soopers, is also 10 minutes away.

To get to more trendy, established areas- head into Denver which is 15 minutes away or Boulder which is 25 minutes away. You can get to a front-range hike within 30 minutes. Hop on route 36 or Hwy 70 and be connected to all the major attractions Colorado has to offer. Train station to downtown Denver is 5 minutes away, uber/lyft are readily available.

I have a very detailed guest book with hike, dining and activity recommendations for Denver, Boulder and mountain towns. Day trips to the mountains can easily be done, with expected travel times between 1-2 hours, per way.

Other things to note
As mentioned, this is a lower level unit of a two unit duplex. You may hear the other tenants who live upstairs, but they are held to the same quiet hours of 10 pm-8 am and will not host events.

HEAT/AC IS CONTROLLED UPSTAIRS. The house will be kept 66-70 degrees, please let host know if you are uncomfortable. THE BASEMENT CAN GET COOLER WHEN THE A/C IS RUNNING! Important to understand this before booking. There is a space heater located in each bedroom closet in case you need it. The electric fireplace has temperature settings as well.

If staying for extended time, you can find cleaning supplies under the stairs in the kitchen. Detergent/dryer sheets are located in cabinet above washer/dryer.

A set of bedding for the couch can be found in the back bedroom closet.

Netflix is provided, but this a smart TV so feel free to log in to your own apps and be sure to log out prior to departure!

There is no outlet behind desk, but you can find extension cord behind TV stand.

Garbage is every Tuesday morning, please plan accordingly if staying extended periods of time. Recycling is every other week.

Professionally cleaned. 10 mins from regional airport and also the Flatirons park and ride, which offers direct service to DIA airport and Boulder.. Safe neighborhood, great neighbors.

Across (walking distance) from Standley lake regional park that offers camping , paddle boarding and kayaking. Great location off NW Pkwy and 36, between Denver and Boulder. Older home-Not fancy high end, i.e no large granite kitchen, no formal dining etc. but fun to enjoy nature from patio with outside dining. It is a dog friendly home that accommodates 2 people nicely. 2 dedicated bedrooms-loft area for reading/extra bed.

Tri-level home-2 sets of 6 steps, plus steps to loft. Main level is kitchen, dining, living area w/tv. Upper level is master bedroom with full bath, attached office,and tv, Lower level is sitting room, attached sunroom w/access to 2nd bedroom, main tv and . Small .5 bath. Loft is open area reading/emergency bedroom.

Bedrooms (2 designated)--memory foam mattresses on all beds, master bed is medium firm with topper , and downstairs bed 1 soft mem foam. Waffle topper in closet, and 4 inch down duvet on bed that can be removed.

Pool--unheated, opens mid May-and closes in September... Outdoor dining, bar, and sitting area can be used most of the year. Note- due to coyotes from open space and uncovered pool, dogs cannot be left unsupervised in yard. Also, as home backs to open space, critters small and large ( including fox coyote hawks) are often found in/near yard-so this home may not be ideal for everyone.

Hot tub-open year round. Hot tub operates with bromine-which some are allergic to. Use at your own risk. Emergency shutoff onb top deck behind bar

Dogs-Dogs allowed (pls let us know), Dogs cannot be left unsupervised in yard due to coyotes from neighboring open space.

Garage-remote door, 1 car parking. 2 car driveway parking. No campers please.

There is lots of space to sit and lounge, fenced in yard was great for our puppy. The host is great at responding, we had an awesome stay and hated when we had to leave!" - "This house has a fun beach bungalow vibe though it’s very big and has a lot of rooms & various sitting areas. The back yard with hot tub, pool, 4 different seating areas, plants, and a great view of the nearby lake was our favorite feature. Despite temps in the 90s, the window a/c unit was sufficient to keep the whole house cool. The host lives very nearby and was very helpful When we had questions and when we needed to receive an express mail. We spent a lot of time in Boulder and in Denver, and the central location of this house was ideal for both locations. We plan to stay there again next time we visit our Boulder relatives during a busy Boulder season (ie start of the school year)"
