Our brand new guest house, which consists of over 1000 square feet, has 2 private queen size bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms and closet space.

The guest house was added on to our home, and is considered a separate and private space, although it does share a common wall, which is well insulated for sound. The outside shared back patio deck is the only direct link to the main house.

The "Box Elder" room has its own private entrance, whereas the "Mount Maestas" room is accessed through the main entrance into the guest house.

Local destinations: Walsenburg is a 6 minute drive. La Veta is 15 a minute drive, Cuchara and other attractions like Cuchara Mountain Park are an easy drive up Highway of Legends Scenic Byway. Huerfano County's abundance of beautiful scenery is a hidden gem and definitely worth taking time to explore. Let me know if you would like any recommendations!

The Casita is on a property with 1.5 acres of land and set back from the road. County roads are well maintained in the area and our little community is sprinkled with similar plots of land.

The Lofts are located in historic downtown Walsenburg and nestled near the local shops. The train tracks nearby are active, but that didn't seem to be a bother for us. We slept well. Built in 1877, this solid adobe casita has recently been restored and remodeled with Santa Fe in mind. Conveniently located an easy walking distance to Main Street shops and restaurants, the casita also affords a lovely view of the Spanish Peaks. The garden is a work in progress with 24 varieties of day lilies planted in the spring and an herb garden in it’s planning stages. Located 10 minutes out of Walsenburg Colorado this country setting has a great camping property for tents or RVs. This is primitive property no hook ups. There is water available. If you're looking for a great getaway this is a nice 420 friendly spot. Pet friendly no aggressive breeds. Very close to hiking trails BML lands state lands Spanish Peaks. About an hr to Cuchara ski resort 25min to La Veta for wonderful shopping. Property is very dark so stargazing is wonderful at night. 6 spots available.
