Said the home had no AC and to use the house fan and close everything up during the day. It was 83 degrees in the house. We also were not told the back deck was being rebuilt until the day before we left for our trip. The building materials were stacked in the driveway which limited parking. The hand soap and shower soap were so watered down you couldn’t get a suds going. We ended up going to the store and buying soap. Other than that, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice. Won’t be back though. "

This is a very well maintained 1930's cottage with a private yard with a comfy porch and private off-street parking, and the quaint neighborhood and street are the safest around.

Our Future Bookings are limited to those within the month (first to last day) in consideration to our returning guests who need to schedule annual visits. If the home is still available once that month has arrived, we can open reservations to Weekly and then Nightly. Please always feel free to ask if your desired dates are out side of this guideline... sometimes scheduling can work out just right;)

This is literally the best location in the city. Prepare to hang your car keys, because everything is a short and pleasant walk from here.

Adventure awaits! Come stay in beautiful Prescott, secluded in the forest, yet close to the Square. Full kitchen with dining inside and out. There is always something to do here. Hike on trails minutes up the street. Enjoy the lakes with the 5 kayaks you'll have access to, take the camping chairs and backpack cooler exploring. The kids will love the foosball table and hanging chairs on the covered patio. Sit outside and watch for deer and enjoy a coffee. This is where you want to be.

The space
It's a historic cabin built in 1959. My goal was to create a comfortable place where you could relax, but never be bored. I have seen deer within 15 feet of the house, so be ready for that as well.

This historic stunner is an updated 1915 house, which has been beautifully decorated to make your stay complete! French doors open to a beautiful deck with ample seating and space to enjoy a warm sunrise or afternoon sunset. Exit the front door for a stroll to the lovely Clarkdale Park which hosts live music, parades and other special events.Take a 20-30 minute drive to beautiful Sedona and come back to the quiet streets of Clarkdale. Wine tasting rooms are close by in Old Town or Jerome.

The space
This historic house is full of charm. Originally built in 1915 for the mining days of the preplanned company town of Clarkdale, it has been upgraded in only the right areas. The full kitchen has been completely renovated and includes an elegant bar for additional seating. It has all the amenities plus a few starter items such as coffee and bottled water. The two bedrooms have queen mattresses and windows to let the natural light in. The front bedroom has a gorgeous wall size mirror and a Smart television along with a new bed. The back bedroom has a new queen bed with a Cool Gel memory foam mattress. The inviting living room has a comfortable couch and loveseat to rest after a long day or visiting with family. The couch folds out for additional sleeping room. A full deck with built-in seating and extra chairs offer a beautiful view of Bitter Creek and surrounding hills. Take in the history of the town with the view from the backyard which looks out on the old smelter, railroad tracks and distant views of the red rocks in Sedona. Make yourself comfortable on the front porch as the neighborhood comes alive with the friendliest small town you will experience.
The house is not childproof. There is no satellite TV, however options to log into Netflix or other apps as well as a Blu-Ray player is available. There are two coffee makers, one small single serve and one drip coffee maker. Limited Coffee is provided to get started but the guest may need to buy more for the stay. No parties and no smoking allowed on property.

All house areas are accessible. There is parking for vehicles. Street parking available in front of house too.
Clarkdale is a small town but I advise to lock all cars and the house doors/windows. Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle. Keep in mind most of the neighbors may be retired.

A few basic starter amenities are provided. Examples of this would be toilet paper, three extra rolls are provided in addition to the current roll on the toilet paper holder and not restocked if depleted during the stay.

The shed outback and extreme back yard (that is gated off ) is not accessible at this time.
The house is not childproof.

Other things to note
The Verde Canyon Railroad train tracks are in Bitter Creek, a few miles behind the house. There will be train noise on occasion. Due to the Bitter Creek wilderness there may be wildlife that gets through the fence. Please don’t engage with wildlife.
Please don’t leave food products on the deck or in the backyard patio area.

Close to everything. Built with historic local lava rock, it's a place to make your own history. Downtown Flagstaff and NAU are down the road, the Arizona Snowbowl and Grand Canyon are up the road, and grocery shopping and a sports bar/restaurant are across the road. See everything northern Arizona has to offer, or stay inside for some quiet family time. Big-screen smart TV, 300mb wifi, full kitchen, full bathroom, a/c.

The space
This historic home boasts original construction materials, with updated amenities including the bathroom and kitchen. Your unit A is downstairs. Plenty of light and space. The heat and a/c are fantastic. The windows don't open due to their age, but you can open the front door for fresh air. Two private bedrooms with a king and queen bed and closets, a fold-out couch with a memory foam mattress, a full kitchen with a bar, and a formal dining area and living room.
The fireplace is not functional due to some prior remodeling changes.

There is a shared entryway in the back with the upstairs unit (the home is a duplex). There are games, books, a mop and vacuum in the shared entryway.

Peaceful house in a lovely setting with views from your private patio. Fireplace and bathtub. Hiking/biking trails are just short walk away. Minutes from dining, movies, supermarket yet tucked away near the Sugarloaf hiking trail system (which connects to many trails). Separate studio behind house shares some outdoor and BBQ space.
Fenced yard/patio with views. Indoor/outdoor dining. Comfortable king bed and memory foam twins/king. Desk, full kitchen, shared washer/dryer, barbecue.

The space
Environmentally friendly, saltillo tile floors, recycling. Kitchen has microwave, blender, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, fully equipped, large fridge, stove and filtered water.
There is 1/2 flight of stairs up to front door, but once in the door, the home is a single level. Cooling is a swamp cooler and an air conditioner in the living room, air conditioning and fans in bedrooms.
There is a small studio Airbnb in the back of the property, with a shared washer/dryer in between the spaces. Both spaces have their own separate patios and may also share some of the multiple outdoor spaces, plenty for everyone, including hammock, swing chair and BBQ.
We do not allow pets and are unable to accomodate service dogs due to my daughters allergies.
We are an eco friendly household. We do not allow animals on the property, encourage preserving lighting, cooling and heat. We offer recycling and use cloth rags and napkins vs. paper towels.

House is private and has private seating out front. Some outdoor seating spaces are shared. Laundry is accessed and shared by house and studio apartment.

Other things to note
This home is in West Sedona, my favorite area in our sweet town. West Sedona is where the movie theaters are as well as shopping, hiking, galleries and so many restaurants.
We have Harkins 6 and the Mary Fisher Sedona International Film Festival theater, all within walking distance where almost every night you can view a conscious movie or documentary. I offer a welcome letter in the house with recommendations.

Our Casita is close to restaurants, art and culture, great shopping, and great hiking trails. You’ll love our place because it is a true adobe structure extremely secluded yet walking distance to all the best parts of Sedona. It's great for couples and solo adventurers. We also pride ourselves for having a very clean space. In addition, we don't charge cleaning fees!

The space
The Casita is backed up to wilderness land yet just a short walk to Tlaquepaque, Sedona's premiere shopping village which also hosts 5 longtime favorite restaurants from Mexican, French, casual brew pub cuisine to morning coffee shop selections. Or, you can relax with your morning coffee in front of the fireplace or outside private patio with fantastic views of Snoopy Rock. You won't find a better location in all of Sedona!

Guests can enjoy their own private patio with breathtaking views of Snoopy Rock. The adobe structure offers a comfortable environment as the walls are nearly 20 inches thick which makes for a quiet and peaceful living space. There is a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker and sink in the living area. A gas grill on the private patio with a side burner for cooking.

Other things to note
Driveway is part gravel and is sloping down to our open front entrance gate. During winter months it can be slippery from snowfall. That doesn't happen very often.
