- "This cabin is really cute. The living room has great seating. I really love the couches. It was plenty of room for two couples to have their own couches. I also love that the couches easily pull out to become a giant lounge. There are plenty of blankets and the heater works great. The Christmas decoration was a nice touch. Oh, and watching squirrels and chipmunks out the side window was so fun. The couches and scenery are what makes this a 4 star rental for me. If they fix a few issues, I would give it 5 stars. The main thing I did have an issue with was the main bed. It needs some work because it wobbles and feels like it will collapses just by sitting on it. Oh, and a bath mat/towel specifically for the bathroom floor would be nice, along with some coffee in the kitchen. Also, the communication needs some work. I had to chase down the check-in info through two seperate people. The first person was kind and friendly. However, the second person that ended up giving the info to me, was not friendly or communicative. "

Welcome to the Flower Cottage Venice - your very own whimsical, lush, and incredibly (!) walkable beachside hideaway. Our cottage (which is located in a very private space in our large, fenced backyard) features everything you need for an extended stay, including your own private entrance/parking, yard, bikes, fire pit, BBQ, fastest wifi, 4K monitors, unlimited usage of the new swedish dry sauna and more. The cottage is a short walk to the beach, Whole Foods, Rose Ave, Abbot Kinney and beyond.

The space
The Flower Cottage is a beautifully restored California Craftsman that sits in a private space in the very back of our property. Your dreamy backyard is complete with a BBQ, fire pit, lounge furniture, fresh passionfruit, fragrant lavender, and more. You also have an electric gate to park a large car in for safe keeping (+ access to a 110v if you have an EV!) Additionally, we have a newly installed swedish dry sauna that is shared with the main house... use as much as you may like! We hope you'll have special evenings using the grill, unwinding by the fire pit, and enjoying the twinkle lights. If you have dogs, this yard is a dog paradise. We welcome all fury friends!

Inside, you'll find two light-filled rooms with the coziest mattresses + ample pillows. Each room is outfitted with a desk and 4K monitor so you can work remotely with ease. The rooms also have their own closets and chest of drawers.

The living area features a Samsung frame TV (so you can keep pretty art on the wall while not in use), and access to all streaming services. The kitchen features a large fridge/freezer, toaster oven, all serving ware for the best outdoor BBQ party, and beyond. We do not have a traditional stove, however, we have an amazing electric induction burner that enables the same stove-top cooking experience.

Coffee features include a Chemex, grinder, filter and scale for the perfect pour over, as well as a regular coffee machine.

Regarding laundry, we have a small in-unit combo washer/dryer in the back bedroom closet. Please note, it does take a while to wash/dry, so we also provide hangers in the event you'd like to hang dry your clothes. There's a great laundry service called OrangeBag that we also recommend to guests -- super seamless pick up/drop off laundry service in the area!

The bathroom has been completely renovated with gorgeous new marble tile. We'll leave fresh eucalyptus hanging for you in the shower.

We live in the front house on the property. When you arrive, we'll be here to greet you and show you to the bungalow. You have your own private entrance (alley) and access to two bikes during your stay.

Tucked away in a beautiful section of La Jolla Cove, home to southern California's most beautiful aquatic wildlife. Snorkeling, surfing, beach trails, and restaurants are all located less than a block away.

We put a lot of tender care into this unique cottage & love sharing it with those traveling the coast and hope you'll enjoy a relaxing stay here!

The space
This 100-year-old cottage is a lovely, private, and tranquil space conveniently located near the heart of La Jolla Cove and its famous seals. The home is a dedication to nature, animals, and creative passion, putting you in a comfortable state to focus on the simple things in life, like the beautiful ocean and glorious summer sunshine!

Most of the art decor you will find in the cottage was made by hand or gifted from close friends and artists as this is typically a lived-in space outside of the peak seasons. The unit was recently decorated and is equipped with a brand-new TV, appliances, pots & pans, and bathroom amenities. The entire space and communal grassy picnic and fire pit area are available for guests to use and are dog-friendly as long as there are no complaints from other guests on the property.

Notes on the Amenities

- All the smart lighting in the unit can be controlled through the DayBetter App which allows you to change the room colors, brightness, and power. There is a remote above the kitchen seats that controls LED lights on the kitchen ceiling next to the regular light switch. The bathroom also has glow-in-the-dark stars.

- There is a shared washer/dryer available opposite the unit through the pathway next to the public bathroom. You will need to download the Shine & Pay App and scan the QR code on the machine to activate a wash for $1.50 per wash and $1 per dry. There is a shared bottle of detergent on the shelf above the washer, and dryer sheets among the cleaning supplies at the bottom of the kitchen pantry inside the unit.

- The pantry is equipped with basic spices, cooking oil, and dry foods that are available for guests to use during their stay

- The kitchen has an air fryer above the fridge, microwave, toaster, and stove kettle.

- There are ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom, and a net on the doors to allow fresh air in while avoiding allowing any creepy crawly friends inside. There is also a gas fireplace available for chilly nights.

- Extra towels, linens, hair dryer, and iron are in the bedroom closet. The ironing board and vacuum cleaner are in the closet next to the study desk.

The unit is a 3-minute walk to La Jolla Cove and the Coast Walk, perfect for a scenic stroll and conveniently located by many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, yoga studios, galleries, workspaces, and tourist sights, including the Cave Walk and San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art.

Other nearby attractions include the Birch Aquarium, the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, the Wild Animal Park, and the museums of Balboa Park. You’re guaranteed to have an all-rounded and enriched experience!

There are grocery stores within walking distance, and the cottage is a 20-minute commute from the San Diego airport. There is a bus stop one block away, which can take you to the UTC shopping mall and UCSD.

Escape to our secluded forest cottage, tucked 100 yards from the national forest. Our gated 1,000 sq ft wraparound deck offers stunning views, full privacy, and is safe for dogs and kids. Spot local wildlife, sled on your own private hillside, or relax by the fire pit. Located 1.5 miles from Bear Mountain and 10 minutes to the lake and Village, it’s the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience—ideal for trail hiking, mountain bikers, skiers, or simply the peace and serenity of the outdoors.

The space
This non-smoking property is located in Big Bear's Upper Moonridge neighborhood, less than 1.5 miles from Bear Mountain. This tranquil cabin offers 1524 sq. ft. of living space with 3 bedrooms and a game room. The entire cabin has been recently refurbished. There are two bedrooms with king-size beds and one with two double beds. The game room has a pool table, dartboard, smart TV, and pullout sofa.

1,000 sq. ft. wraparound deck has comfortable patio seating, an outdoor heater, and a gas grill. In winter the deck is not cleared of snow and the outdoor heater is placed in storage and not available.

You will find a recently remodeled kitchen with a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, dishwasher, dishware, and cooking basics.

The cottage features WiFi, a washer & dryer, central heating, laundry detergent, towels/linens, trash bags, paper towels, and complimentary toiletries.

Stay within the occupancy limit.
Stay within the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in the street or yard.
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is 2, as stated on the exterior sign.

No amplified music 24/7.
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.

Big Bear Municipal Code enforces the "Good Neighbor Policy." Noisy outdoor activities are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

We love your furry friends, but if yours is a barker, please consider taking your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly!

Big Bear City Ordinance requires all Airbnb guests to take their trash to the local dumpster at the bottom of Moonridege Rd. It's a 5-minute drive on your way home.

Fines.

Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.
