- "This a lovely and charming house just a few blocks away from the beach in Laguna Beach. The neighborhood is very friendly and it is an easy walk to the beach and also to canyon trails. It is a very dog-friendly community with a great dog park not too far away. The owner of this bungalow is kind, helpful and quick to respond to any questions. I can't imagine a more perfect place to escape to during the winter."

Blessing Cottage is a charming, vintage cottage located two blocks from one of Laguna's most popular surfing, skimming, and boogie boarding beaches. Main Beach, downtown Laguna, and the Art Festivals, are all within an easy five to ten minute stroll. The convenient location, plus the many amenities of the cottage, create the ultimate Laguna Beach vacation home.

The cottage features hardwood floors throughout, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, two bedrooms each with a queen-size bed and a dining area that seats six. The lush gardens in both the front and back yards provide a tranquil retreat. Enjoy cooking and dining under the grape arbor on the large back patio, overlooking the lovely landscaped garden. There is an outdoor warm water shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
The cottage has been lovingly furnished by the owners with treasures from their travels. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. We have a futon that is appropriate for a child. Original art adorns the walls, and the bookcase is filled with many interesting books and treasures. Everything needed for fun at the beach has been provided, including beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, umbrella, and beach towels. There is an outdoor shower with hot water so you can rinse off after the beach.

Our mission is to offer an awesome beach experience while at the same time being located in activity-rich, walk-friendly north Laguna Beach.

Do not be concerned that the property backs up to the Coast Hwy. It is not a traditional "highway" but is the ICONIC HIGHWAY 1 that weaves up the Pacific Coast of California on to Canada. In Laguna it is just a main artery street with stop lights every couple of blocks. There is a courtyard, buffer between it and the cottage. The bedroom, living room and deck overlook Cliff Dr and the ocean beyond.

Laguna Beach is among the top beach resorts in the U.S. The Laguna Beach beach-side experience is all around us, not partying groups that are so prolific in other parts of our town and in neighboring towns, but if you are coming here for total quiet, our place may not be for you. LagunaBeachCharmers cottages are for visitors looking for a vibrant beach experience with all the excitement and amenities of a bustling, popular, upscale Southern California beach town. At times there are trucks, trolleys passing on the free trolley route we are on, occasional construction, barking dogs, motorcycles, exotic cars showing off and modified exhaust cars (whose revved up rides are forbidden in Laguna Beach but they try to do it anyway), sirens and more, that pass by our cottages and by our immediate neighborhood of $5M+ homes. More than half of our guests return time and again.

Also, while we have great street parking in front of the building for eight cars, on warm weekends in those places fill up fast with beachgoers. Please be patient and a place will open up for you usually after 5 PM until about 10 AM. Weekends are the busiest. Once you are at the cottage, unless you're taking day trips, you will rarely have to move your car as we are a "walkability" neighborhood.

Also, unlike most homes in Laguna Beach, we are happy to say we offer central air conditioning in the living room, and bedroom. We usually have a very mild temperature range but more and more there will be an occasional heat wave which, of course, no one can predict. We also have portable fans and ceiling fans

For your safety and health concerns: we offer contactless, keyless entry. Our building is very well configurated for physical distancing. Our 3 cottages are well separated and you do not have to interact with any other guest. All bedding, including duvet covers, etc, are washed with each new guest using a professional laundry service. We have a new LG washer and dryer, state of the art for sanitizing and maximum cleaning power. These are available complementary (along with provided scent free detergent) for the guests to use.

While the pictures are great, the property is even better in person as I've updated the exterior with fresh coat of white paint and white trim. The interior is now painted a soft white color with white trim for a bright updated look. I've also updated the queen sofa sleeper in the living area with a high performance fabric sofa sleeper with a memory foam mattress. The material color is blues, whites and silvers. It looks beautiful. There is a new white eating table, new black side tables, new area rug, new white blackout curtains, new bedding, towels and more. The unit has been occupied since the updates were completed so I've yet to get the pictures taken and updated. It is on the historic register designated as a 'key' contributor. The cottage was completely remodeled and updated in 2011. First of all the location is incredible. We walked everywhere. Really only needed our car to venture away from Laguna. The walk to the beach is less than 6 minutes. The same amount of time to walk downtown Laguna Beach. Location, location, location! The layout of our cottage is perfect if you have guests stay or visit you. - "What a perfect month, in a perfect house! We loved everything about it. Upon arrival, the house was spotless and very welcoming. It had all the amenities we needed (and some we didn't know we needed!) but was a very quick walk to the grocery store for food and such. We spent many mornings having our coffee on the front patio, watching the neighbors take their morning walks or having a glass of wine in the evening, as the sun was setting. The backyard had everything we needed and though we didn't sit back there as much as the front patio, we did enjoy playing cards on the large patio table and sitting by the fire a few nights. And the garden!!! Oh my, everyday I felt like I found a type of plant that I hadn't seen the day before. And I loved that a lot of them were labeled. The inside of the house fit our needs perfectly. While the kitchen was tiny, it had all that we needed and I found it easy to cook meals in - though we did eat out most of the time. The living room was comfortable and once we figured out how to work the remote (wait - maybe we should have read the instructions first!), we spent evenings that we were home, watching TV. The bedroom was just the right size for us, with plenty of closet space and hangers and the bathroom was beautiful, with an awesome shower - loved that there was a bench!. Drenda and Rick were quick to answer any questions and were very good hosts. The walk to the beach was very quick, (the walk back took a bit longer as it is mostly uphill) and we spent a ton of time there. There are many great restaurants and bars and LOTS of live music, all within walking distance from the house. We brought our car but actually only used it twice the entire month. All in all, it was great place to stay and we loved getting to be "locals" for our time there and if it wasn't for missing our grandkids, we would have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!!! PS Short note - my husband still works remotely Monday-Friday and found the garage a perfect place to set up office. It is a much nicer space than just a garage!"

While the pictures are great, the property is even better in person as I've updated the exterior with fresh coat of white paint and white trim. I've also updated the furnishing in the outdoor living room with a white, black and gray palette. It looks beautiful. The bedroom area does not have a door. It does have curtains that can be closed for privacy. A door was not installed as there is a beautiful ocean view from inside the unit and I did not want to block the view. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave/convection oven and there are 2 Nuwave Cooktops. All pots/pans, utensils and dishware are in good condition. There is a BBQ for your private use.

There is a maximum of 3 overnight occupants including all people and pets. Please comply as we do enforce the occupancy limit. As a courtesy to all guests on site, any pets must be approved to make sure a safe and quieter environment is provided. Please send a note prior to booking with the age, breed and weight of the requested pet(s). While we love dogs, constant barkers are discouraged and we request that the pet not be left alone for an extended period of time. We also request that all dogs be walked off-site for potty purposes. There are many spots very nearby. The unit is located within walking distance to the best restaurants, beaches, shopping, festivals, art galleries, museums and activities that Laguna Beach offers yet it is in a quieter location. This property has been owned by the same owners since 1996. Considerable effort is made to maintain it in excellent condition. The views are unmatched for the village area as typically one needs to go high up into the hills to get such a fantastic view. - "Our stay was perfect and wouldn't change a thing! Heydie was wonderful, reached out to me once the reservation was approved to discuss the logistics of the rental, what to expect, etc. Once the date got closer, we were in contact so she could provide me with the house access information, asked what kind of pillows and coffee I liked, etc, Heydie is the perfect host! I go to Laguna Beach annually but this is this visit time we rented a house as we usually stay in a hotel for a week or two. This house is located in my favorite area of Laguna Beach and highly recommend it!!! When we both got to the house we were extremely happy with the home. It is a short walk to the beach and downtown which we did daily...usually multiple times per day. A great hiking trail is a very short walk as well which we also did multiple times. Now for the house...it was prefect! The home is a great size with lots of space and loved the decorating style and the paintings. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could imagine needing and more. Everything was clean upon arrival and their house cleaner came every Friday to clean from top to bottom (who was also wonderful and sweet!). We cooked a lot at home so we didn't have to go out to eat everyday. We BBQ'd a couple times and ate outside on the patio for most meals. There is a great ocean view from the front yard and even a more expansive view from the 2nd floor off the master bedroom balcony where we drank wine at night. There are a lot of windows in the home which we kept open most of the time to get the cool ocean breeze. The master bedroom is very spacious, bathroom is very large with a jetted tub and the bed and pillows were extra comfy and slept better than I do in my bed at home. Cleaning is performed at the end of your stay. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.
WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.
There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with Shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.
CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
No cats, certain non-shedding hypoallergenic dogs will be considered at an additional fee.
NOISE ORDINANCE:
Quiet enjoyment hours are from 10:00PM-7AM. Outside use is limited to quiet conversation only. No music or amplified devices from cell phones to Bluetooth devices are allowed. Citations will come out of the renters deposit, our beach communities have a zero tolerance policy, if security is called a fine will be imposed.

Loud noise isn't permissible anytime of the day, per city (max 70 decibels from 7am-10pm) and is considered disrupting the peace of permanent residents, noise violations incur a $1000 fine (taken out of deposit) and possible eviction. Thank you for respecting our local residents!

PETS: We're pet free other then certified emotional support or service animals (Please communicate if you plan on bringing your service/emotional support friend and would appreciate documentation after booking). We do allow some hypoallergenic breeds for a 150 per pet fee. Must be crated or supervised at all times.

House had all essentials except for an iron and ironing board. Also, questionable whether or not the bed is actually a king-sized bed as stated on the listing. It was much smaller than anticipated and looked to be the size of a queen. Beside that, the stay was pleasant and met our needs. The communication with caretaker was quick, thorough and helpful. - "The Bird Rock cottage was ideal from the moment I arrived. It has everything and is exactly as the pictures show it. It was clean and cleaning supplies are available to keep it that way. Also, the laundry is included with detergent. The one parking space is right next to the cottage so you don't have to pay anything or walk any distance to carry things. The location is ideal. It's a short walk to the ocean and the main beach area. All the coves are easily accessible as well. Great restaurants, galleries and shops are within walking distance. Since Laguna Beach offers a free trolley, you can go as far south as the Ritz Carlton and those beaches without driving and incurring parking fees. It's such a lovely cottage and location that I struggled to give it up when my visit was over. I loved my stay and will probably be back. 🤗"

Molly’s Beach Cottage was built in the 1930’s for silent actress Molly Malone. She was featured in more than 80 silent films. The cottage is cozy yet roomy, sleeps up to 5 people comfortably and offers a luxurious and comfortable interior.
The cottage is located in N. Laguna, which gives you an easy escape from traffic out of L.B. The cottage was completely remodeled inside and out, so everything is new. We used antiques from Bali, France, fine art, custom & designer type furniture.

The space
This is a cozy yet roomy 1930's cottage.

Entering through the Dutch door, one is surprised to discover the generous entry area with slate floors and large living room with hardwood floors, fireplace and cathedral ceiling. And the kitchen is another spacious surprise. Love to cook? You're in the right place. Enjoy the gourmet kitchen with new appliances including two ovens. Dine at the large French antique barn table in the open dining room. Two lovely bedrooms with queen size beds, an office, two baths & laundry room will enhance your comfort. All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.

The space
This charming 1930 Laguna Beach cottage has been beautifully remodeled, blending vintage charm with modern amenities. 3 bedrooms with 3 in suite bathrooms nestled in South Laguna Beach, the exterior retains its classic appeal with a freshly painted facade and a quaint ocean view front porch. Inside, the open floor plan features hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and abundant natural light. The fully equip kitchen boasts functional ventage appliances wood countertops and cabinetry. Cozy bedrooms offer comfort and style, while the updated bathrooms provide a spa-like retreat. Outside, a serene backyard with lush landscaping and a patio creates the perfect space for relaxation.

The 3rd bedroom and bath: This room is on the lower level of the cottage and has its own entrance through the white door located in the front of the house. Please Note Having raised my two children from 0 to 10 years old it is too much separation for the average parent to have the young kids sleep down there alone.

This 1 Bedroom 1 Bath home is a 5-minute walk to Victoria Beach with beautiful Sunset Views. This home includes 1 Queen Bed, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Walk-in Shower with Bench Seat, Smart TV, WiFi, Washer & Dryer, Linens, Garage Parking, Beach/Bath Towels, Beach Chairs and More.

The space
We are renting our VERY CLEAN 1920's remodeled beach cottage. The home pictured is the owner's unit with the lower home rented to a year-round tenant which you would be sharing the garage as well as laundry.

This home is located in South Laguna on Terry Rd and is within walking distance to Victoria Beach with incredible sunset views.

Other things to note
IMPORTANT HOME NOTES:

- Upon completion of reservation tenants will be required to comply with the HOUSE RULES (including additional rules) outlined in our online Advertisement. Please review prior to submitting your booking.

-Tenants will be held responsible for any/all penalties and fines incurred during their stay as well as loss of rental revenue resulting from the suspension or revocation of the Property City Lodging Permit.

- Upon arrival, the guest agrees to be greeted by a staff member to verify identification matching the primary reservation holder. The primary reservation holder must be present throughout the duration of the reservation. Any exceptions must be approved in writing by Tower 17 Properties & Management.

- Guests submitting a reservation the same day as their arrival date are advised to message Tower 17 Properties prior to submitting their request. Same-day reservations may be required to accept a later than advertised arrival time of 5 pm to ensure the completion of our cleaning and inspection process.

- Guests arriving or departing before or after designated arrival and departure times without written consent from Tower 17 Properties and Management will be charged a $299 fee and applicable taxes. Guests departing after 1pm will be charged for the additional nightly rate as advertised. If an unapproved late departure impacts the arrival of an incoming guest, the departing reservation is subject to penalties and fines including but not limited to the refund of the incoming reservation.

-Crib/Pack n' Play must be requested 48 hours prior to your stay.

Laguna Beach is one of the most senic cities in Sounthern California and is especically diverse with landforms that range from small sandy coves, rocky points and mountainous terrain that practically drops into the ocean. With diving, surfing, skim boarding, swimming, sunbathing and tidepools, kayaking, snorkling/diving, wildlife viewing, hiking, boating, you will find yourself mesmerized by the beautiful Laguna Beach beaches.

The majority of the meters in Laguna Beach have two hour limits and charge $0.25 for each 15 minutes. Laguna Beach boast that it is the only city in Orange County that has its own public transportaion. The free shuttle runs during the day and nigh in the summer. The gray line bus route that takes you to the TOP OF THE WORLD brings you to our doorstep for a minimal charge. (see scheduled of times)

The cottage was built in 1929 and has been carefully preserved. The homes design is very unique and curated mostly by the work of local artists right here in Laguna Beach. On the inside you will find all the comforts of a modern home. Outside, you have a private wrap around patio with options for lounging or dining under the sun. Our bedrooms are equipped with comfy Queen sized memory foam mattresses for a great night’s sleep. If you need to conduct business during your stay, we have a dedicated work station for you in the 2nd detached guest bedroom. There are 2 HD smart TV's and High speed WiFi all throughout the house. There is a dedicated Laundry room attached. Your every need has been carefully thought of and provided for you to ensure you have an unforgettable time here in Laguna Beach.
